"What? Who's there?" I ask, panicking. Is he just purposely scaring me because it's not funny.
"Nothing." He mutters as he starts to walk upstairs and I quickly ran by his side, following him.
"You shouldn't make jokes like that." I tell him as we step inside some random room, which was obviously a bedroom since there's a bed.
"Who said I'm joking?" He smirks and sat on the bed.
"Wh-what?" I stuttered, horror written all over my face.
"Why are you so scared all the time? There's nothing to be afraid of when I'm around." He assures me.
"This place creeps me out." I mumble. "Why are we even here?"
"I always come here." He sighs. "I shouldn't have brought you with me in the first place, if you're just going to be afraid of everything around you."
"Sorry." I say, and walked over to the chair across the bed.
"Anyways... Why do you always come here?" I ask yet again.
"To chill." He shrugs. "It's more peaceful and it helps me to think."
"Aren't you honestly scared being alone in this house?"
"Nothing scares me, love." He laughs.
I raise my eyebrows at him. "Not even ghosts and creatures and shit?"
"As I said, nothing scares me."
I look at him astonished. "Are you serious?"
"Do I look like I'm joking?"
"No."
"See." He rolls his eyes, and plops on the bed. He rubs his eyes with a yawn, and I can't help but giggle of how cute he looks.
"What the fuck, Brae." He chuckles as he apparently heard me.
I laugh. "I can't believe you're laying on that dirty bed."
"I cleaned it."

"Okay." I shrug, walking over to the window just beside the bed.
"Harry?" I glance over to him. His eyes was peacefully closed, looking suspiciously innocent. His arms and legs were sprawled out, taking up as much space as possible.
"Hmm?" He hums, taking me by surprise as I thought he was sleeping.
"Why aren't you living here instead?"
"I have to admit, being alone is pretty shitty."
"Yeah..." I nod in agreement. "Uhm... I want to ask you something very personal. I hope you don't mind."
"I'm not a virgin." He nonchalantly says, catching me off guard as my eyes widened. Ofcourse, I know he was not a virgin, but it's such a disturbing thing for me.
"I wasn't going to ask that, Harry!" I protested, as my cheeks heat up.
"Oh." He laughs and turns to face my direction. "Go ahead."
"How did your parents die?" The moment it rolled out of my tongue, I immediately regret asking it.
"It's none of your fucking business." He growls and sits up.
"I'm sorry. I'm just curious." I quietly say.
"Curiousity is a bitch." He shrugs. "Come lay with me." He orders, luckily forgetting about the question.
"Uh no thanks." I shook my head.
"Brae."
"Fine." I hesitantly walk over to him and sat on the bed. "I'm not even sleepy." I whine as I slowly lay down, feeling the soft fabric against my back.
"I want to rest, and your mouth needs a rest as well." He grumbles, as he lays on his back, me doing likewise. For some reason, I kinda feel tired. My eyes slowly fluttered close and next thing I know, I drifted off to sleep.

I groan, stretching my arms out as I slowly fluttered my eyes open to reveal nothing but pitch black. I might have slept for too long that it was nighttime already. I jolted up and furiously glanced beside me to see Harry no longer there. I immediately began to panic as my heart rate increased. Did Harry leave me? I try to push that negative thought away and grabbed my phone from my pocket. Thank god I got it back from Harry not so long ago. I turned the flashlight on and crawled out of bed.
I quickly walked over to the window, and as soon as I saw Harry's car still outside, I let out a sigh of relief. So, he didn't leave. Thank god... Although, I wonder where he is rightnow. This place is creeping the hell out of me, and I don't know if I'm able to stay here for too long. I slowly walked out of the room, me fully cautious of my surroundings as I carefully glance every side of me, making sure that there's no ghosts. I might sound rediculous rightnow but I don't care. This is a matter of life and death. Uh, I think that sounds abit too exaggerating.
"Fuck." I gasped in fright as I heard a scream which was obviously from outside. I don't think it's Harry since it sounded more like a girl. Oh my... I quickly ran downstairs, and my eyes immediately wandered around, searching for any signs of Harry, unfortunately he was nowhere to be found. Ugh fuck... How can I get home without him. I don't know how to drive a car since I'm still 15. Perks of being a little girl, mark the sarcasm.
"Help!" Another loud scream erupted from outside, causing me to jump in fear. It was the same scream, and this time I can surely tell that it's coming from a girl. What should I do? I'm not some super hero, and I also need help to be honest. Should I call the police? I fucking don't know what to do... I hesitantly walked over to the door, and took a deep breath in and out before I swung it open. I shiver as I feel the cold air hit my delicate skin.
Suddenly, a loud bang was heard from upstairs. This time, I was prepared, already expecting the weird noise. I can't help but assume that it might be Harry, but I don't want to go in. I can't believe I'm not crying yet. "Harry?" I call out, hoping for an answer, but instead a scratching noise blared. I gripped my phone tightly, my heart almost coming out of my chest.
And before I know what I was doing, I start to run for my dear life. I feel tears brimming in my eyes as I ran further into the forest. All I'm thinking was, I had to get out of this place. Unfortunately, my legs started to feel numb, and I have to catch my breath. I stopped running and immediately bent over, placing my hands on my knees as I breathe heavily. I wipe my tears away and jolted up, my eyes scanning everywhere. I'm lost and I have no idea what to do.
I lift my phone up and my eyes widen in horror. "No... No, no, no, not now." I cried as my phone turned off due to low battery.
"Harry, please..." I whisper, tears already streaming down my cheeks.

Wesley is a devout Christian who seeks salvation for both he and Kareem. Both have their secrets and as the two are forced to spend more time together they learn more about each other and themselves. Together they come to qustion the meaning of power, Christianity, and how far the definition of humanity truly goes. Sustenation is the corner where nutrients meets addiction. Will Kareem and Wesley be able to separate the two? Note: I update my other fictions weekly, but I'm not sure what the schedule for this one will be. There's no real plan here. I just had an idea and decided to run with it. I usually plan excessively before I start a fiction, but I don't have a plan this time. It takes place in the same universe as the Exsanguinate fiction, but doesn't really have any links to the other books.

Shadow in the North
What if a work of fiction wasn't fiction at all? What if we only thought it was fiction because it was written down, and we were separated from it by the page? Isabel Darrow, troubled by her past and feeling disconnected from the world, likes her doctor's suggestion that the world of fiction might become reality. She likes the idea of waking up in the middle of her favourite book with the handsome, brooding Mr Thornton glaring at people in his mill yard, but she doesn't worry about the foul air of dirty, smoky Milton, because it's not real, and it was written over 160 years ago.But then she takes a trip to Oxford, and gets waylaid along the way, finding herself greeted at a smoky train station, by a man called Mr Hale, who claims to be her godfather. When Isabel meets Margaret and first sees Mr Thornton, she's determined to help the course of love run a little more smoothly for the two stubborn lovers. But Gaskell hadn't accounted for a second young lady in the Crampton house, and whilst Isabel tries to adapt to a life where women have no independence or equality, Milton must adapt to her. The question is, will Mr Thornton adapt to her, or Margaret, first?
