"Niall?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I go with you guys?" I ask.
Niall glances over his shoulder to look at me in bewilderment. "What? Why?"
"I want to thank Harry in person for saving me awhile ago."
"Oh but- well... I don't think thats a good idea. Harry will literally kill me for not bringing you home."
"Don't worry. I'm simply going to tell him that I forced you or something." I reassure him.
"But how about your mum?"
Shit. I almost forgot about her. "I'm gonna call her." I quickly took my phone out of my jean pocket and searched for mom's number. I held my phone up against my ear as I wait for her to pick up. I hope she buys this.
"Hey mom!" I chirp, trying to cover up my nervousness.
"Why are you not home yet?! It's so dark already. What if you get in da-" She starts but I immediately cut her off.
"Mom chill. That's why I called to discuss about that. So we had this shitty meeting which took like forever and that's why I'm not home yet, but you shouldn't worry about that because some friend of mine offered me to stay at her house for tonight since it's already too dangerous to walk home at this time. Her house is near the school and you know, it's safe and stuff. So... Will you allow me?"
"I don't think I trust that friend, you are talking about. And how about your clothes for school tomorrow?"
"Mom don't worry, okay? She's one of my good friends in school. Also, I'm just gonna go home early in the morning so I can prepare there for school." This is seriously making me guilty. Lying to her was not my intention, but I have no choice. It kinda surprises me how I'm really good at this rightnow since I'm usually bad at lying. Still, that's not something to be proud of. Lying is downright awful.
"Well, okay then... It's for your safety. I wonder how many more days I can finally get my car so I can just fetch you every after school. Anyhow, please don't get yourself into trouble again, and be nice."

"Mom." I whine as I roll my eyes before I continue. "I'm not a kid anymore."
"I know but you somehow still manage to get into trouble."
I sigh, knowing she was right. "Yeah I guess your right but mom I have to go now. See you tomorrow."
"Be careful, Brae." I hung up and turned my phone off before I shove it back into my pocket.
"So how was it?" Niall clears his throat to get my attention.
"It was fine. She bought it." I bluntly say, still feeling the guilt washing over me.
"Alright. Are you sure about this? I don't think it's safe."
"I'm sure. and I know I'm safe when I'm around Harry."
Niall nods and mutters something under his breath. "Did you say something?" I ask.
"Nothing."
"Okay..."
"Oh and by the way, meet Nicolas. The person from your school." Niall introduces as he glanced at him and at me.
"Oh hi." I shyly say.
"Hey, you must be Harry's girlfriend?" My eyes immediately widen from the word girlfriend and I furiously shook my head.
"No way! I'm just a friend."
He laughs. "I know, I'm just kidding. Though, it confuses me how you and Harry are friends. He's totally bad news and you're too innocent."
I frowned. "I'm not that innocent."
"You are, babe. I don't know if you can even deal what Harry is capable of."
"I bet I can." I most definitely cannot.
"Sure, little girl." He laughs as he's shook his head, diverting his attention back on the road.
I roll my eyes as I decided to not fight back. It's useless anyway, and he's just obviously trying to piss me off.
The car suddenly stops, signaling that we already arrived. I open the car door and went out. My head snapped towards the huge house that was infront of my very eyes. My mouth fell agape, not expecting that they live in a big place like this.
"How big." I muttered.
Niall chuckles. "We need a big place good for 6 people."

"Oh wow. Why so many?"
"We're all best pals so yeah we tend to live with eachother."
"So you're all boys in the house?" I gulp, not comfortable with the idea of living around guys. What if I get raped or something. I don't even know the rest of them yet.
"Yeah but sometimes they bring their girlfriends with them. I actually thought about sound proofing each bedroom."He laughs and continues. "You know, fucking and shit."
I feel myself getting awkward about the topic, and I don't think I want it going any further. "Okay then, let's not talk about that."
I hear Nicolas snicker from beside me. "How pure." He teases and gives me a wink.
I roll my eyes and follow them approaching the house. I watch Niall take the keys out and unlock the door. My heart thumped the moment I hear a click as the door opened. I stood there, letting them go in first. As soon as Niall noticed me not walking in yet, he offered his hand for me to take. I look up at him with a blank expression.
"Everyone's nice in the house, don't worry." He reassures me with a wide smile which kinda relaxed me. I smile back and gladly took his hand. I hesitantly went in and my eyes scanned the whole place. It's a wonderful surrounding, and the place looks utterly neat and arranged, but there's something wrong. I can't exactly point it out for some reason, but I'm pretty sure that there's definitely something off about this house. I shrug it off, not wanting to jump into silly conclusions anymore.
"Make yourself at home." Niall states, snapping me back into reality.
I nod as I sit down on the couch. My eyes wandered, noticing that there was nobody around apart from me, Nicolas and Niall.
"Where's everybody?" I ask.
Niall takes a sit across me and Nicolas ran upstairs. "Louis is at his girlfriend's house, and Liam and Zayn went to the pub." He explains.
I knew Zayn but this Louis and Liam guy is so foreign in my ears. I wonder what they look like and how they act. I think they might be nice. Niall is actually being really nice to me and he isn't that flirty anymore like when we first met. Hopefully, Nicolas will improve.
"When do you think Harry will be here?" I quietly ask.
"I don't know." He shrugs as he stands up.
"Hey I bet you're hungry." He smiles at me.
I furiously nod in excitement as I stand up as well. Who doesn't love food.
"Well, what do you think about ordering pizza?" He widely smiles and unexpectedly claps his hand in excitement. He looked like a little boy. I can tell he also loves food as much as I do.
"But I want to pay for it as well. I can't stand other people paying for me."
He chuckles. "Okay fine, The three of us will pay."
"How about Harry?"
The smile from his face faded and he starts to scratch the back of his head nervously. "Uh he will probably eat before coming here." He looked tense and it seemed like he was lying.
"Oh alright, no pizza for him." I joke, trying to lighten up the mood.
"Yeah." He awkwardly laughs. "Anyways, I should show you to your room."
"Sure." I nod before I follow him upstairs. There were plenty of rooms which I should expect already from the size of this house. As we continue to walk, Niall finally finds the right door for my bedroom. While he was unlocking it, my attention diverted to the door beside it. My eyes widened the moment I saw a smudge of dry blood just above the door knob.
"Niall?" I call him as my eyes was still fixed on the blood.
"Yes? Is there something wrong?" He asks, a hint of worry in voice.
"No, not at all. I'm just wondering, who's room is this?" I turn to look at him intently as I wait for his answer.
"Oh, that's Harry's room."
