My mind was completely take over by Derek as I sat there numbly doing my makeup. Where was he? I couldn't bear the thought of not knowing where he was. I threw my lipstick onto the bathroom counter, sighing as my face fell into my hands.
"Layla?" I heard my mom's voice, lifting my head up from my face.
"Mom," I forced a smile as she walked into the bathroom.
She gasped, scanning me. "You look absolutely beautiful." She awed, as she walked towards me.
I chuckled. "I tried." I forced out, with a tiny smile on my face.
Her face soon sunk at my forced expression. "Is everything okay?" She stared at me with a concern expression. I looked down at my hands, sucking in a breath.
"I don't know." I answered truthfully, looking up at my mom with a tiny shrug.
She grasped both my arms as she crouched down in front of me. "Tonight, forget everything and just have fun." She stared at me with a small smile. "Later you can fix things with that boy but when the time is right." I sighed, knowing she didn't want me to stress over this situation.
I nodded my head. "Okay." A smile slowly made its way to my face. "We should head downstairs, he mig-" I was cut off by a doorbell. "Speaking of the devil." I muttered, my mom chuckled as we walked out of my bedroom.
I froze looking over at Scott. "Aren't you looking like a gentleman." I winked at my brother as he sent me a smile.
"You look beautiful," He complimented making me send him a grin. "Have fun with your date." He shot me a smirk, making my smile soon turn into a glare.
I turned around, walking down the stairs, sending my mom a hesitant look as she walked towards the door. I pushed my hair away from my face, not knowing if I should just go upstairs and ditch this party. The door opened revealing Jake who was dressed, surprisingly clean.
I sucked in a breath, sending him an awkward smile as he scanned me slowly, making me shuffle uncomfortably. This was for sure going to be a long regretting night.
I continued to hold a straight face ever since we walked into this party. The whole area inside was packed with people and one thing running through my thought was regret.
"Come on." Jake grabbed my hand, taking me towards a group of guy with their dates. He cleared his throat as we joined the group. "Hey guys." He greeted.
One of the girl's gaped at us as the others continued to stare in shock. "Oh my gosh, congrats Jake!" A ginger girl squealed, my eyebrows furrowed at the girl. Why was she squealing in happiness? "You finally got the girl you wanted!" She cheered, my head snapped towards Jake with a raised brow.

He has a cocky expression on his face. "She wanted to be my girlfriend after all." He winked at me, making my lips fall open slightly.
One of his friend's slapped his shoulder. "You got a good one." His friend uttered, scanning me as I clenched my jaw.
I put on a fake smile. "I'm taken but not by him." I shot back, shooting Jake a look as the friends looked confused. "Excuse me." I turned around and walked away from the group.
I huffed, cursing Jake's soul out but no only him Scott as well for putting me into this tortures moment. "How is it going so far?" I turned around, looking over at my brother who was hidden behind the shadows.
"Don't want to talk about it." I responded, walking right next to him.
"That bad?" He laughed. I rolled my eyes at him, crossing my arms.
I froze for a second looking over at my brother. "Weren't you banned from coming here?" I asked, forgetting to ask that earlier when I saw him dressed. "You sneaked your way in, didn't you?" He had a smirk on his face, nodding.
I laughed, giving him a high five. "Smart I know." He chuckled.
My eyes landed on Allison with Jackson. "You should be winning her heart right now." I nodded my head towards Allison's direction.
"Look." Scott changed the subject. My eyes fell on what he was looking at to see Stiles and Lydia dancing. I couldn't help but smile at the sight. "Oh damn." Scott muttered under his breath.
"McCall!" I flinched at the sound of coach shouting, looking over to see coach struggling to get to where we were standing. My eyes fell on the spot Scott was supposed to be at but he was gone. "I see you! Come here, buddy." Coach continued to shout, my eyes scanned the area trying to find Scott but because of the herd of people I couldn't see him or coach but I could definitely hear him. "Come here. Mccall! Get outta my way! Mccall! It's a small gym, buddy. I'm gonna find you." Coach continued to ramble. "I gotcha, Mccall! Come here, come here! Get outta my way! Mccall!" My eyes finally fell on Scott who was in a heated conversation with Danny before the two disappeared.
"Mccall! You're not supposed to-" Coach cut himself off when Scott awkwardly had his arm around Danny. I couldn't help but laugh at the sight. "What the hell are you do - What the hell are you doing?" Coach forced out, confused by the situation.
The music was cut off as everyone looked at them. "Yes, coach?" Scott asked innocently, as he adjusted his arms around Danny neck.
I cupped my mouth, realizing how awkward this was. "Okay, ho - ho - ho - ha ha." He was so hesitant with his words knowing he was under fire and if he said one thing wrong, he'd be burnt permanently. "Hold on, you - I was just saying he's not supposed to - I mean, I wasn't saying that he shouldn't - You guys don't think - You don't - I - I was - Just dance, everybody." Coach forced out. "Just dance! Dance! It's a party!" He froze look embarrassed.

"What are you looking at, Greenberg?" He snapped, why did he attack that poor boy when everyone else was staring at him.
He walked away completely embarrassed. I couldn't help but laugh at what had happened. Scott looked over at me with a smile and I nodded at Allison's direction, motioning for him to go next to her.
He sent me a small nod. I sucked in a breath, scanning this gym room before walking towards the exit. There was nothing for me to do here and plus I didn't want to come here in the first place so it's a free ticket to get out of here.
I walked towards the sidewalk and continued to walk by the time a cab comes and drives by me. My hand shot out when a cab was driving by, it slowly stopped right in front of me, before I slipped into the cab my eyes fell on a shadow behind the darkness. I furrowed my brows, shrugging it off and slipping inside the cab.
Derek's wrists were cuffed above him. He was hanging as he groaned in pain from the electric torture on his side. He lifted his head, glaring at the blonde in front of him. She stood there with a smirk on her face. A notification sound came from a phone catching both of their attention.
"I wonder whose phone that could be..." Kate trailed, as she walked up to the phone with a huge smirk plastered on her face.
Derek continued to throw daggers at her back as she walked up to a phone and lifted it up, revealing his phone. "Awe a message." She teased, looking down at the phone. Derek growled under his breath, growing annoyed of the blonde hunter in front of him. "Message from Layla, I'm supposing Layla McCall?" Derek's heart stopped at the name as she continued to look amused.
"She says," Kate started. "'Text me or call me when you get this so I can know you're safe.'" She chuckled, walking closer to Derek. "'I don't care about what happened between us I just need to know if you're okay, I'm worried about you.'" She laughed at the next message she was about to read.
"Oh Derek you're going to love this one," She went to open her mouth and say the next message.
"Shut up!" Derek growled angrily, causing the blonde to look at him with a tsk look.
"But you would love this. 'I love you.' She's a sweetheart, isn't she?" Kate stepped closer, smirking at him, he was still shocked about the message she revealed. The 'I love you' continued to run through his mind. "A seventeen year old, Derek? Really? I bet ever since I left you, you lost your mind." Derek glared deeply at her, with so much hatred and disgust.
Kate's smirked deepened with a thought crossed her mind. "I'm sure I'd love to get to know this sweetheart that is in love with you." She placed the phone into her pocket.
Derek froze. "Don't you dare!" His voice was low and dangerous as he yanked on the chains holding his wrists back.
She laughed throwing her head back, walking backwards still staring at the man yanking at the chains. "Aren't you the sweetest."
"I swear if you lay one hand on her or touch a piece of her hair I'm going to-"
"You're going to what?" She chuckled with so much amusement. "We'll meet soon." She winked, walking out leaving Derek there with so much anger.
"Kate"!" He growled but all he could hear was her laughing.
I was in complete relief when I had gotten out of that dress and slipped on my leggings and tank top. I slipped on my Nike shoes, walking towards the door. I pulled it open, shutting it behind me, making sure to lock it before I took a night run.
I plugged my earphones in and jogged my way into running, feeling the cold breeze brush against my skin as I continued to run until I felt my heart pound against my chest and my breathing cut short.
One thing I noticed about Beacon Hills was that it may be beautiful at night but that's when the monsters come out to play. My feet became sour from the running as my leg soon forced me to slow down, slowly stopping as I hunched over, breathing in and out forcefully.
"God," I muttered, taking out one of my earplugs out of my ear.
A crunching sound came from behind me, causing me to whirl around to see no one. I furrowed my brows, turning back around but immediately gasped at the person standing in front of me.
"Oh I didn't mean to scare you." Kate argent said with a little laugh. I let out a chuckle, still feeling nervous around the female hunter.
"It's fine, it's just you came out of nowhere." I uttered, sucking a breath.
"Would you like to see something? I just need to test something out." She winked at me, but I was getting the weirdest vibe from her.
"Um-" I was cut off as a gasp escaped my throat, covering my eyes at the burning feeling from the shiny object she was holding up.
"Pixie." She uttered. Before I could lift up my head I felt something hit my neck causing everywhere to fade in black.

Superhuman Magus is a title that is based on a concept. Can't say more as it's a spoiler. I prefer the first title but it's just that the current title might attract more people. First title didn't make the novel seem like it's fantasy based. >>Motivation to create Novel: I created this novel to implement the vast imaginations I had while I was not creating a novel. So, there will be a lot of extreme imaginations. Most of these imaginations can only be implemented afterwards as it's a story. So it will take a while.
