"Faster?" I couldn't help but ask, having a feeling I was going too slow.
"Much faster!" Stiles shouted.
I sighed, gripping onto the steering wheel tighter as I pressed my foot onto the gas, driving faster. My eyes went up to the review mirror to see a car that belonged to Kate Argent following us.
Stiles sighed nervously. "I don't think you're grasping the concept of the car chase here!" Stiles commented, causing me to shoot him a glare.
"She's going past the speed limit." Scott pointed out. "And if she goes any faster, she'll kill us." Scott continued to defend.
"Well, if she doesn't go faster, they will kill us." I rolled my eyes at Stiles' snarky comment, pressing my foot harder against the gas, taking a quick turn causing both Scott and Stiles to slam against the doors of the car. "Yep she's definitely going fast." Stiles groaned in pain.
Stiles looked behind us sighing in relief. "They're gone." Soon I heard the volume of the police scanner on Stiles' lap turn up. "All units, suspect is on foot heading into the Iron Works." Scott glanced at me as I took a turn where the location we really needed to get to was.
"Iron works it is." I muttered.
I swerved the car as Stiles jumped out of the passenger seat. "Get in!" He shouted, as he rushed into the backseat as soon as Derek got into the passenger seat I pressed my foot against the gas clenching onto the wheel tightly.
"What part of laying low don't you understand?" Scott scolded from the back.
I bit my lip looking at the review mirror making sure no one was behind us as I looked back at the road sending a glance to Derek, who looked completely stressed out and defeated.
"Dammit. I had him." He hissed under his breath.
"Who? The alpha?" Stiles asked, bringing his face closer.
"Yes!" Derek snapped. I couldn't help but shoot a glance his way. "He was right in front of me. And the friggin police showed up." He uttered angrily.
"Whoa!" Stiles began bringing his head back. "Hey, they're doing their job." He defended. I sucked in a breath, he really is asking for it.
Derek turns around glaring at him. "Yeah, thanks to someone who decided to make me the most wanted fugitive in the entire state." He shot back.
I couldn't help but sigh in annoyance. Their argument was really getting under my skin. "Can we seriously get past that?" Scott responded. "I made a dumbass mistake. I get it."
I put my lips in a line. "Can you guys cut the argument?" I threw a glance at all three of them before looking back at the road. Everyone fell silent, making me finally relax.
Stiles nodded in agreement. "Alright," He began. "How did you find him?" Stiles asked, poking his head out once again.
I glanced at Derek when he didn't respond, looking ahead of us as he ignored Stiles' question.
Scott grew annoyed from Derek's silence. "Can you trust us for at least half a second?"
Stiles brought his head back once again. "Yeah, all three of us." Derek slowly looked at him with no expression only a deep glare. Stiles slowly leaned back. "Or just the twins." He motioned to me and Scott.
"Look the last time I talked to my sister, she was close to figuring something out. She found two things. The first was a guy named Harris." Derek informed us. Mr. Harris? What does this have to do with him. I furrowed my brows in confusion.

"Our chemistry teacher?" I asked before the other two, Derek looked over at me, nodding his head in response.
"Why him?" Scott asked, curiously.
"I don't know yet." Derek responded.
I took a quick look at Derek before looking at the road. "What's the second?" I questioned inquisitively.
"Some kind of symbol." He answered, pulling out a folded up paper and opening it up showing us the drawing. I slowed down the car, narrowing my brows as I looked at the symbol.
It looked so familiar but I don't know why but that was until Scott sighed. "What? You know what this is?" Derek asked him.
"I've seen it on a necklace." He revealed. "Allison's necklace." I sucked in a breath remembering seeing that symbol on her neck.
Derek and I both shared a look before I picked up the speed but that was until a smirk came onto my lips pressing the breaks as hard as I can causing Stiles and Scott's face to smash against the head rest in front of them.
"Layla!? What the hell?" Scott groaned in pain, causing me to let out a chuckle.
Stiles groaned in pain rubbing his forehead. "Second time!" Stiles said in agony. "I'm still wondering how you got your license." I looked over at Derek who smirked back at me as I looked back at the road driving off once again.
"You both know what that was for." I said, focusing back on the road.
I sighed in frustration, I had just finished getting ready for school and suddenly I can't find the research paper I had finished and printed out. "I'm losing my mind." I muttered angrily, moving half the stacks of papers that were neatly on my desk.
I turned around. "Mo-" I cut myself off when I saw who was standing behind me. "Derek?!" I rushed towards the door quickly locking it. "What are you doing here?" I whispered, knowing my mom was home. "You do know that my mom is home and the whole state is looking for you." He glared at me, causing me to raise a brow. "Aren't you supposed to be hiding?" I questioned, completely ignoring his glare.
"Nice of you to remind me," He commented, putting a fake smile on his face causing me to smile.
"What are you doing here?" I couldn't help but ask, as I walked closer to him.
Without saying anything, he wrapped his arms around my waist giving me a kiss on the lips. "I just wanted to come and see you." He said when he pulled away from my lips causing me to blush at his comment.
"Should've come sooner since I'm late to school and can't find my..." I trailed off when I saw him holding up my research paper in his hands. He smirked looking down at me. "It was next to you the entire time wasn't it?" I asked. He smirked down at me.
"You left it in my car. I came to return it and to see you." He responded, causing me to chuckle, giving him a peck before taking it out of his hand.
"Thank you so much." I grabbed my bag shoving the research paper into it, before heading towards the door. I froze looking over at Derek who was staring back at me. "You might want to change your shirt, there is blood on it." I pointed out, he sent me a playful glare.
Sending him a wink, before I walked out of the room shutting the door behind me with the biggest smile plastered onto my face.

Stiles and Scott were walking close behind me as we entered the double doors of the school. "This is gonna be impossible, you know." Scott clarified, as the two made it to my side.
"Why don't you just ask her if you can borrow it?" Stiles suggested, causing me to look over at him with a raised brow.
I don't know if he's joking or being serious. "How?"
"It's easy, you just say, 'Hey, Allison, can I borrow your necklace to see if there's anything on it or in it that can lead me to an Alpha werewolf that I need to kill in order to get back together with you.'" Stiles revealed, looking over at me. "Huh? Isn't that good?" I couldn't help but glare at him causing me to straighten himself up. "You look like Derek, stop that." I rolled my eyes staring back ahead of us.
"You're not helping." Scott told Stiles.
Stiles sighed, throwing his arms over my shoulder. "Why don't you just talk to her?" Stiles continued to suggest.
"She won't talk to me." Scott answered. "What if she, like, only takes it off in the shower or something?" Scott asked, looking hopeful.
"That's why you ease - that's why you ease back into it, okay? Get back on the good side, remind her of the good times. And then you ask for the necklace." Stiles looked over at Scott as Scott looked back at him with the same look. "You're thinking about her in the shower, aren't you?"
Scott smiled weirdly. "Yes." I cringed at the thought.
"Boys." I muttered, walking away from the two, heading towards my locker.
I walked into the corridors as the other two were trailing beside me. "How the hell did he find out?" Stiles asked, talking quickly.
So many questions and thoughts were racing through my mind. "I have no idea." Scott said, processing what he had just learnt.
"Did he say it out loud? The word?" Stiles continued to question for me.
Scott looked at him confused. "What word?"
Stiles got closer. "Werewolf." He whispered. "Did he say I know you're a werewolf?"
"No, but he implied it pretty freaking clear." Scott revealed, freaking out by the fact Jackson possibly knows what Scott is.
"Okay, maybe it's not as bad as it seems." Stiles breathed out, trying to make things better. "I mean, he doesn't have any proof, right? And if he wanted to tell someone, who's gonna believe him anyway?"
I froze, realizing Stiles' words would have been accurate if the argents weren't hunters. "Allison's dad." I reminded them. "Remember him?" I continued causing Stiles' expression to fall.
Stiles' eyes widen in realization. "Oh it's bad." He commented.
Scott looked panicked. "I need a cure, right now."
I nibbled on my bottom lip as I watched the panic I had caused for the two of them. "Does he know about Allison's father?" Stiles asked, putting his voice in a very low tone.
Scott looked hesitant. "I don't know."
Stiles nodded glancing over at me. "Where is Derek?" He questioned, Scott glanced over at me.
"Hiding, like we told him to." He answered before looking at him curiously. "Why?" He asked inquisitively.
He broke the rules earlier by coming to our house, could have easily been seen by the cops but surprisingly he wasn't caught. "I have another idea." He started, causing me to straighten myself up watching him cautiously. "It's gonna take a little time and finesse, though." He informed us, Scott and I both glanced at each other as we looked back at Stiles staring at him curiously.
"We have that game tonight." Scott reminded, causing my eyebrow to rise a bit as I remembered that it was Stiles' first game tonight. "Its quarterfinals. And it's your first game." Scott continued to remind him.
Stiles nodded his head. "I know. I know." He answered. "Look, do you have a plan for Allison yet?" He asked, changing the subject.
"She's in my next class." He informed us.
"Get the necklace." Stiles and I both spoke at the same time.
Scott nodded his head. "Right, get the necklace." Scott repeated, before Stiles and I parted our way from Scott walking to our class.
He threw his arm around my shoulder. "So..." He trailed, causing me to look up at him with a raised brow. "You and Derek." He started causing me to sigh knowing where this was going.
"Stiles, don't start." I begged, continuing to walk to our class.
He smirked at me. "You two seem pretty close." He winked, making me want to smack the smug look on his face off.
"We're mates." I reminded, trying to dodge what he was trying to get out of me.
He put his lips in a line nodding his head. "Mates." He repeated. "Alright, listen up." I sighed as he pulled me to stop walking. "Are you both dating?" I sucked my teeth, giving him a sly wink before backing up and walking away from him.
"We're gonna be late, Stiles." I reminded, walking to class with a smirk playing on my lips.
A long time in class of Stiles trying to get things out of me about Derek and I, but the only thing I was doing was dodging every question. The two of us walked up to Scott with our tray of food in our hand.
Stiles slammed his tray onto the table as I pulled the chair out taking a seat, next to him. "Did you get her to give you the necklace?" Stiles asked, as soon as we sat down.
Scott looked annoyed. "Not exactly." He responded, looking a little down.
"What happened?" I spoke up this time, staring at him carefully.
"She told me not to talk to her..." He paused for a second. "At all." He added, causing my brows to shoot up surprised.
Stiles glanced at me and I shrugged. "So she's not giving you the necklace-" He was soon cut off by Scott.
"She's not giving me the necklace!" He snapped angrily.
I put my lips in a line, picking at the cold lunch food in front of me as I cringed at it. "Well, did you find anything else out?" Stiles continued to interrogate.
Scott glared ahead of him. "Just that I know nothing about girls, and that they're totally psychotic..." He paused when he saw me raise my brow at his comment. He cleared his throat, looking down. "Not you." He quickly corrected, rolling my eyes at him.
"Okay, I came up with plan b just in case anything like this happened." Stiles uttered, glancing between us.
I looked at him interestingly. "What's plan 'B'" Scott asked.
I leaned back. "Let me guess steal the necklace?" I asked, staring at him with my eyebrow arched up.
His face sunk for a second. "No..." He paused. "Fine, yes." He huffed, glaring at me. "Just steal the stupid thing."
I chuckled. "That's the most stupidest plan I have ever heard of but that's the only thing we are able to do now." I agreed, at this point we gotta do what we gotta do.
"Couldn't we at least try getting Mr. Harris?" Scott asked, causing Stiles to grow annoyed.
"My dad put him on a 24 - hour protective detail, okay? The necklace is all we got. Steal it." Stiles continued to push, sounding very annoyed.
Scott's eyes stayed glued to something or someone behind us. "Guys, he's watching us." He said. I furrowed my brows following Scott's gaze into the crowd to see Jackson staring at us, eating with Allison and Lydia with amusement on his face.
I scoffed turning my body back to Scott, suddenly Scott looked frozen and almost looking as if he's about to panic. "Scott? You okay?" I asked staring at him with concern.
He looked over at me. "Jackson's talking to me." Stiles and I both glanced at each other with the same look. "He knows I can hear him. Look at me. Just talk to me. Act normal. Pretend that nothing's happening." Scott said, looking down at his tray trying to remain calm.
Scott looked up throwing Stiles and I a fake smile, nodding his head trying to act natural. "Say something, talk to me!" He said through his teeth. I quickly looked over at Stiles hoping he'd have something to talk about.
I mean it's Stiles he has a whole lot of words. "I can't think of anything. My mind is completely blank." Stiles said panicking.
I stared at him in shock, surprised by his comment. "Your mind is blank?" Scott whispered, completely surprised. "You can't think of something to say?"
"Not with this kind of pressure." I closed my eyes tightly knowing one thing I could say to distract him.
"Scott." I started, causing his attention to avert to me. "Derek and I are dating." I let out, closing my eyes tightly waiting for him to blow up.
I opened my eyes to see him staring at me with wide eyes. "What did you just say?" I bit my lip, he processed it looking more angry by the minute.
"I knew it!" Stiles exclaimed, looking relieved that he finally found out the secret.
Scott didn't look too happy, he continued to glare at me. "Wrong words, I made you more angry." I muttered, flinching when he broke the tray in half before he slammed the tray down and walked off.
"That definitely wasn't only your secret. Jackson must've said something that triggered him more." Stiles said, I nodded in agreement.
"Come on, we gotta find him." I told him, as we both stood up rushing out of the cafeteria.
