《Healing Hearts ❤ Derek Hale ✔ (Under construction)》(1x08) Lunatic, Part 1 ✓

Days had passed since we were trapped in the school with the alpha cornering us. My nightmares had gotten worse than before, last night I woke up screaming to where my mom had to come sleep right next to me and try calming me down.
I hadn't heard or seen Derek ever since then either, and seeing him in my dream or the memories of that night coming to my mind causing my heart to ache. Scott and Allison broke up. He is now depressed and doesn't want to talk to any of us. I'm seriously fed up with his attitude towards me.
I shoved the blankets off my body, walking down the stairs towards the kitchen. "Good morning." I heard my mom say as soon as I reached the fridge.
I sent her a small smile. "Morning." I whispered, ever since people all around are talking about Derek Hale. I've been worried my mom will look at my mark again and see hale on my wrist.
I froze when I heard the radio. "Beautiful Monday morning, Beacon hills high school is back open after being closed Thursday and Friday, Police search continues for alleged killer Derek Hale-" My mom quickly switched off the radio look at me as I clutched the water bottle in my hand tightly.
I slammed the water bottle down on the counter, storming out of the kitchen and walking up the stairs, glancing at Scott's closed door as I continued to walk to my own room, slamming the door closed and throwing myself onto the bed.
If Derek is still alive somewhere he has obviously heard the news about him being a fugitive thanks to Scott. Where could Derek possibly be? The knock on the door caused me to sit up as the door opened revealing my concerned mom.
She walked towards me taking a seat rubbing my back. "Are you okay?" She questioned, causing me to look up at her and shake my head. She sighed, pressing a kiss to my head. "You can stay home today."
I sighed, looking up at her. "Thanks." I muttered, she smiled down at me.
"Stay away from the news." I nodded my head once again. She rubbed my back one last time before leaving my room.
I laid back down putting the blanket over my body, as my eyes landed on the mark on my wrist. My thumb continued to rub against the mark as I continued to stare at it.
I sat up, looking down at my wrist biting down on my lip. Scott and Stiles are still convinced that Derek was dead but I know that he isn't, because I know it would have affected me if there was something wrong with him or if he died.
Throwing the blanket off of myself, rushing into my closet taking out an outfit throwing it onto the bed before entering the bathroom, shutting the door behind me, I brushed my hair and grabbed my makeup bag before applying makeup.
There was no need for me to take a shower since I had already showered last night. I had no energy to do anything to my hair so I just left it to my natural wavy hair.
I stepped back spraying perfume on myself, exiting the bathroom and slipping off my robe before grabbing my outfit and slipped it on. (Outfit on top) I grabbed my bag, walking out of my bedroom.
Slipping my phone out of my bag as I went through my contacts dialing Derek's number one more time since I had already called him the other days but he hadn't responded.

I sighed when the robotic voice came through, rolling my eyes hanging up, slipping it right into my purse. I headed towards the front door at the same time as Scott was about to shut it. "Scott, wait!" I called out.
He froze, opening the door. "You coming?" He asked. I nodded my head.
He held the door for me until I slipped out of the house. He locked the door up behind us as we walked out of the house and towards the car that mom had left for us.
I walked into the school with Scott trailing behind me, looking around the school feeling sudden fear come into the pit of my stomach. I flinched when someone grabbed my arm quickly looking over to see Lydia and Allison.
"I didn't mean to scare you." Lydia apologized.
I sent her a reassuring look. "It's okay."
I continued to walk towards my locker hoping they'd leave me alone. But they trailed close behind me making me sigh in annoyance. "Do you guys think I made a wrong decision?" Allison asked, talking about the breakup.
"About that jacket with that dress? Absolutely." Lydia responded.
I slammed my locker shut after getting the books that were needed out. "I honestly don't know." I admitted, turning towards her. "Take some time and when you're ready talk to him." I shrugged, before turning around and walking away.
I ran a hand through my hair, walking into chemistry sitting right beside Stiles. "Hey. How are you feeling?" Stiles questioned, as soon as I sat down.
"Could be better, but I'm fine." I answered, causing him to smile at me.
My eyes landed on Scott walking into the class heading towards Allison who was already seated with determination. "Allison-" Before he could say anything further he was cut off.
"Mr. McCall please take a seat." Mr. Harris said, with a nod Scott walked towards the seat behind Stiles and I. Mr. Harris handed the blue exam books on the first row desk as they passed we passed it down. "You have 45 minutes to complete the test. 25% of your grade can be earned right now by writing your name on the cover of the blue book. And I'll be left yet again questioning my decision to ever become a teacher. So let's get the disappointment over with. Begin." I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his comment.
I flipped the first page, looking down at the question before writing down the answer. My eyes landed on my ring that continued to flash looking down at it confused before it suddenly stopped shining.
That was when suddenly Scott pushed out of his chair and ran out. "Mr. McCall!" Mr. Harris called out, Stiles and I shared a look before I placed my pencil down and ran after Scott.
"Ms. McCall! Mr. Stilinski!" We ignored running out of the class and down the corridors looking for him.
"Scott?" Stiles called out, we continued to run down but that was until my eyes landed on something.
"His bag." I pointed at the bag abandon in the middle of the corridor. "Scott?" I called out this time.
The hallway was completely empty and strangely quiet. "I have an idea." Stiles stated, causing the two of us to stop as he pulled out his phone tapping away on his phone before he placed his phone to his ear.
We waited until we heard a phone ringing a few inches away from us. Both of us shared a look before grabbing Scott's bag and running towards the ringing sounds of his phone.

I pushed the door to the locker room opened, causing the ringing sound of his phone to get louder. Stiles and I shared a look before slipping inside, shutting the door behind us as the sound of the showers filled out ears.
Swallowing thickly, as we both walked further into the room until our eyes landed on Scott kneeling under the showers with his back towards us as it would rise and fall, almost like he was struggling to breathe.
"Scott?" Stiles and I called out at the same time as soon as he looked over at us.
I walked closer to him. "Layl-Layla. I can't." He struggled out, breathing heavily.
Stiles walked closer looking down at him confused. "What's happening? Are you changing?" Stiles questioned, as we both stared down at him worriedly.
Scott shook his head. "No. No. I can't breathe." He forced out breathing forcefully.
"He needs his inhaler." Stiles clarified, quickly dropping Scott's bag to the ground and zipping it open, taking out the inhaler handing it to me.
"Scott, take this." I kneeled down beside him putting the inhaler to his mouth before pushing the button. He held his breath letting the inhaler do his work.
My hands shook as I took the inhaler away from him, watching him breathe normally. "I was having an asthma attack?" Scott asked confused.
"No, you were having a panic attack." Stiles informed him. "But thinking you were having an asthma attack actually stopped the panic attack. Irony." I stared at Stiles surprised by his information.
Scott looked at him curiously. "How did you know how to do that?"
"I used to get them after my mom died." Sadness soon washed over me, knowing how hurt Stiles was over losing his mom at a young age. "Not fun, huh?" He added.
Scott shook his head. "I looked at her, and it was like someone hit me in the ribs with a hammer." He commented, looking down with a sad expression.
"Yeah, it's called heartbreak." Stiles commented. "About two billion songs written about it." He continued. I couldn't help but suppress a laugh.
"I can't stop thinking about her." He continued to state.
Stiles stood straighter. "Well, you could think about this." He began. "Her dad's a werewolf hunter, and you're a werewolf. So it was bound to become an issue." Scott sent him a glare. "That wasn't helpful." He muttered. "Dude, I mean yeah you got dumped and it's supposed to suck." I nodded my head in agreement.
"No that's not it." Scott specified. "It was like I could feel everything in the room, everyone's emotions." He turned to me automatically. "You're afraid, annoyed, and hurt." My eyes grew wide at the emotions he listed.
"I think it might be the full moon." I reminded them, causing Stiles to nod his head in agreement.
"So we'll lock him up in his room later." He turned to Scott. "Just like we planned, the alpha who is your boss, can get you there, either."
"I think we need to do a lot more than lock me in my room." He stated, causing Stiles and I to glance at each other.
"What, you mean because if you get out, you'd be caught by hunters?" Stiles questioned, Scott shook his head.
"No. Because if I get out...I think I might kill someone." He said hesitantly, causing Stiles and I to stare down at him in daze.
I pushed my hair out of my face walking towards Stiles who was seating on the bleachers but immediately when I made It towards him, he stood up and embraced me into a tight hug.
"Uh...Stiles?" I said, breathless from the tight hug he was giving me.
He let go of me staring down at me happily. "You won't believe this." He was so excited, I couldn't help but smile at his happy expression. "Scott's captain and I'm first in line!" He exclaimed happily, causing me to laugh.
"Congratulations." I told them not knowing what else to say.
"One more thing, I got by Biles now." I furrowed my brows, what has gotten into him?
"Uh, sure thing Stiles." He flashed me a glare.
"It's Biles. Call me Biles." He snapped, causing me to stare at him surprised. "Or I swear to god I will kill you." He threatened.
"Umm, Okay...Sti- Biles." I quickly corrected, he sent me a smile. "I'm going to head towards the restroom, I'll be back." He nodded his head still having a happy smile on his face.
I chuckled, walking away heading out of the bleachers and towards the restroom but that was until something caught my attention in another room. I gasped covering my mouth when I saw the sight in front of me.
Slumping backwards as I quickly rushed out of the corridors and back to the bleachers, rushing down the stairs as Stiles looked at me confused. "Layla, you look pale." He stood up, grabbing my shoulders. "What's wrong?" He asked, my heartbeat continued to go quicker by the minute as flashes of what I saw came to my mind.
"Oh my god..." I whispered. "Oh my god." I repeated in a mumble causing Stiles to look down at me worriedly.
Scott appeared beside us. "What's going on?" I looked over at Scott with a glare as he stared back at me confused.
"Nothing." I snapped, causing him to look at me with a raised brow.
"Hey, what happened?" Stiles immediately asked Scott.
I looked between them confused. "What?" Scott questioned, almost like he didn't know what he was talking about.
"What do you mean what? Did you ask her? Did she say anything? Did she say she liked me? Did she imply she liked me?" Stiles asked, obviously talking about Lydia.
My heart sunk at his hope, but only if he knew what I saw. "Yeah, Yeah, she likes you. In fact, she's totally into you." My head snapped into his direction, as I stared at him in disbelief.
I grabbed Scott's arm tightly, sending Stiles a small smile. "I need to talk to him in private." He nodded as he looked surprised and shocked by Scott's lies that he believed.
I dragged Scott away from Stiles and roughly pushed him into the corridors of the school where it was completely empty. "What is wrong with you Scott?" I immediately snapped, causing him to look down at me acting confused.
"What are you talking about?" He asked dumbfounded.
I chuckled sarcastically at him. "Yeah, sure you don't know what I'm talking about."
"I seriously don't!" He bit back. "I'm leaving." I grabbed his arm pulling him back, glaring at him deeply.
"Lying to Stiles and telling him his crush actually likes him while you didn't ask her any questions just ended up kissing her." I exploded, he stared at me hesitantly. "Are you really a true friend if you've betrayed your best friend like this?" I shook my head, clenching my teeth. "What's gotten into you?"
"Nothing." He pulled his arm roughly out of my hand as he stormed away.
I sighed, shaking my head. I stormed the other way not bothering to return back to the bleachers, with the guilt I couldn't take. I crossed my arms storming out of the school as the cold air greeted me causing me to wrap my arms tighter around myself.
I walked down the sidewalk, letting the air fall against my skin, enjoying the alone time until footsteps were heard behind me causing me to look over my shoulder but no one was there.
I brushed it off knowing I was just being paranoid, ever since the alpha I've been very careful and paranoid about everything. The sound of the footsteps caught my attention but this time I didn't turn around, closing my eyes concentrating on the power within me causing the person to fall onto the ground.
Before I could look to see who it was they grabbed my leg pulling me down to the ground, the person quickly got on top of me pinning my arms up. My body soon relaxed and I didn't bother fighting back when I realized who it was. "Derek?" I breathed out, staring at his forest green eyes.
He smirked down at me as I continued to stare at him with a shocked look.
