Isn't this sweet once I get back to School Scott and Stiles dragged me into their little plan and now I ended up in detention with them. Stiles continued to stare at me, causing me to glance over at him uncomfortably. His cheek rested against his hand as he stared at me with a blank face. I sucked in an angry breath. "Stiles." I began, sending him a deep glare. "Stop staring at me." I demanded, he ignored me continued to stare at my face like he was hypnotized.
"I'm bored." He responded, still staring at me face without blinking.
Scott cupped his mouth holding his laughter at the sight. "I'm warning you one more time. If you don't stop staring at me I will rip your eyeballs out of their sockets." I threatened, through my gritted teeth but that threat didn't work. "Stare at Scott instead of me." I motioned to my brother almost as if he was about to burst into laughter.
Stiles sucked in a breath. "No. You're way prettier than Scott." He commented, I leaned forward to hit him but Mr. Harris entered the room unfortunately.
"Ms. McCall did I hear you talking?" I clenched my jaw tightly staring at him with hatred.
I remained quiet, glaring at him as he shared the same look as me. "Excuse me, sir?" Scott began, causing both me and the devil to stop glaring at each other. "Uh, I know it's detention and all..." Scott trailed. "But, uh, I'm supposed to be at work, and I don't want to get fired." Scott said, hoping he would let him out of detention.
But we all know how Mr. Harris is. He has no heart nor does he have humanity. "Ignored." I muttered under my breath when Mr. Harris ignored him and didn't respond.
"You knew I would heal." Scott leaned over and whispered to Stiles.
Stiles looked completely self-assured. "Yep," He replied confidently.
"So you did that to help me learn?" Scott continued to whisper.
Stiles continued to look ahead not bothering to look at Scott. "Yep," He continued with a short answer.
"But partially punish me."
"Yeah, well, that one's obvious." Stiles would have to be the smartest person at torturing people.
"Clever." I whispered, causing Stiles to shoot me a smile.
Scott looked helpless and worried. "Dude, you're my best friend, and I can't have you being angry with me." Scott said, still thinking that Stiles was still angry at him.
Stiles finally looked over at him. "I'm not angry anymore." He responded. "Look, you have something, Scott. Okay? Whether you want it or not, you can do things that nobody else can do. So that means you don't have a choice anymore. It means you have to do something." Scott nodded his head.
"I know and I will." He reassured.
My eyes fell on Mr. Harris who eyed us over the newspaper. "Alright," Mr. Harris started. "All three of you out now," He demanded, causing the three of us to look at each other in relief.
I pushed my hair out of my face as the wind blew my hair in my face which is the most annoying thing. Scott pulled the clinic's door opened, walking in but my eyes soon grew wide at the sight in front of me. "What are you doing!?" Scott exclaimed, while I remained quiet staring at Deaton who was on the floor.

Deaton looked over at us. "Both of you get out of here!" Deaton shouted, but he was soon knocked out cold when Derek swung his fist and connected it with his cheek.
I flinched back, cupping my mouth glancing between Derek and Deaton cautiously. "Stop! Stop!" Scott yelled, causing Derek to stop and look over at Scott, sending a glance my way.
"Look, when he's conscious, he can keep himself from healing, but unconscious, he can't." Derek explained, causing me to stare at him confused, shaking out of my shocked state.
"What?" I asked, before Scott could. "What are you talking about?" Derek looked over at me.
"You want to know what the spiral means? It's our sign for a vendetta, for revenge. It means he won't stop killing until he's satisfied." Is he out of his mind? What is he thinking?
I shook my head walking towards Deaton on the ground, kneeling down touching his bruised face softly and gently. But soon a hand grabbed onto mine causing electric feeling to crawl up my arm. I looked over at Derek, removing my hand from his and getting off the ground.
Scott stepped forward. "You think he's the alpha?" Scott asked, in disbelief. There is no way Deaton is the alpha. No way.
I glanced down at Deaton carefully. "We're about to find out." He said turning to Deaton.
He lifted his hand up, his claws were sticking out. Flinching when he went to swipe his hand down but something stopped him. Another clawed hand grabbed his wrist preventing him from harming him.
I looked up to see Scott staring down at Derek fully transformed. Derek was taken completely surprised by the transformation, as Scott slowly transformed back to his human form.
I stared at Scott in surprise when I saw the confident he had in him. "Hit him again, and you'll see me get angry." Scott threatened, causing my eyes to grow wide.
Derek eyed Scott carefully, as he realized Scott was learning. I walked past Derek, grabbing a towel kneeling down and carefully wiping his bloody cheek. "Do you have a plan?" Derek asked, causing me to slowly freeze and look over at Scott with hope.
He looked down at his unconscious boss. "Just give me an hour."
"Then what?"
"Meet me at the school, in the parking lot." I stopped wiping Deaton's cheek as I stared at Scott confused.
I stood up off the ground and threw the towel in the trash. "What are you planning?" I asked, standing next to Derek watching Scott carefully.
"You'll see." He responded, causing me to look at him unsure.
I remained quiet as the three of us were standing near Stiles' jeep parked in the parking lot. I leaned against the car and remained quiet obviously tired of being dragged into these problems. "This is a terrible idea." Stiles stated, and I couldn't help but agree more.
Scott nodded. "Yeah, I know." He answered, causing Stiles to look over at me and I shrugged not bothering to say a word.
"But we're still doing it?" Stiles said, like it didn't make any sense which he was right.

Scott sighed at Stiles. "Can you think of something better." Stiles has a brain and I'm sure he could think of something way better than Scott.
"Well, personally I'm a fan of ignoring a problem until eventually it just goes away." Never mind. I spoke way too soon.
"Just make sure we can get inside." Scott said, as Stiles yanks out a set of bolt cutters.
I leaned further against the blue jeep behind me. "This is so legal." I stated sarcastically.
My eyes squinted when headlights came flashing in our eyes. "He's here." Scott informed us, soon the engine to the black Camaro died down as the driver's door opened revealing my mate in his leather jacket.
Stiles and Scott approached him as I remained at my spot. "Where's my boss?" Scott asked, instantly.
"He's in the back." He motioned to his car, causing me to look in the car to see Deaton blindfolded and a cloth tied to his mouth.
"Oh, well..." Stiles trailed, obviously going to say something sarcastic. "He looks comfortable." Of course, Stiles has to throw in his sarcasm in serious situations, he doesn't mind.
I wouldn't be surprised if he did it at my funeral. Scott and Stiles started walking towards the school's building. "Wait, hey what are you doing?" Derek questioned, causing them to look over at him.
"You said I was linked to the alpha." Scott reminded him. "I'm gonna see if you're right." He said, before looking over at me. "You stay here make sure he doesn't kill my boss." I rolled my eyes, sighing in annoyance.
"Do you see me following you two?" I asked, as Stiles shook his head. "Then, that means I wasn't coming." I snapped, causing Scott to sigh at my attitude.
"She isn't happy." Stiles whispered, as they continued to walk away.
Awkward silence fell over Derek and I. "What's wrong?" Derek asked, walking towards me causing me to cross my arms and look the other way.
"A lot," I stared up at him. "So much is happening at once. You are accusing Deaton being the alpha, Scott trying to control, me and you being mates. Everything is all happening so fast." I panicked. His hand came in contact with my arm causing me to jolt from the feeling.
"Panicking makes things worse." He clarified, causing me to look up at his green eyes. "Stop overthinking things." I nodded, looking inside the car to see Deaton still sitting the tied up.
A finger slipped under my chin turning my head causing me to look up at the handsome man in front of me. I couldn't help but stand on my tippy toes and connect our lips, missing the feeling it would give me.
He smashed his lips harder onto my lip, the feelings were all coming at once just like the problems coming into our lives but I didn't mind it. Soon our kiss was interrupted by a horrifying sound. "You've got to be kidding me." Derek said breaking the kiss.
I looked confused. "What was that?" I couldn't help but ask, completely pulling away from Derek.
Derek didn't look very happy with that sound. "That was your brother trying to howl." He responded, causing me to burst into laughter.
"Me fake howling could do better than that." I specified. "That sounded like two cats getting into a cat fight. Dear god." I breathed out, staring up at the speakers.
But soon another loud sound came through the speakers, causing me to jump and hit my back at Derek's chest. "That one didn't fail." I muttered under my breath.
My eyes landed on Scott and Stiles walking out, the only person that looked excited was Stiles. "I gonna kill both of you." Derek threatened angrily. "What the hell was that? What are you trying to do, attract the entire state to the school?" He snapped completely angry at the two in front of us.
"Sorry. I didn't know it would be that loud." Scott apologized, causing me to narrow my eyes as Stiles had a huge smile on his face.
"Yeah it was loud." Stiles stated laughing. "And awesome." Derek glared over at him.
"Shut up." He snapped.
I put my lips in a line. "Don't be such a sour wolf." I was surprised Stiles was brave enough to tell Derek that since he's so scared of him. "I'm pretty sure Layla is proud." He looked over me staring at my blank expression. "Never mind," He muttered.
My eyes caught Scott's attention to see him staring behind us causing me to follow his eyes and as soon as I looked at the sight my heart sunk. The car door was opened and the blinds were ripped onto the ground. "What did you do with him?" Scott quickly accused Derek.
Derek looked at him confused. "What?" Derek looked over to see him Deaton had gone missing. "I didn't do anything." He admitted.
Derek jerked forward, causing me to look over at him confused but soon a scream escaped my lips when I saw blood splattering out of his mouth as he was pulled up in the air by a dark shadow.
Scott grabbed my arm pulling me to him as I stared dumbfounded. The large dark figure threw Derek across causing him to hit the brick walls. "Derek!" I screamed, but Scott pulled me with him, dragging me towards the school.
The pain instantly irrupted in my chest. I hissed feeling Derek's pain as the two both dragged me into the school. The burning sensation continued to get worse and worse making me feel lightheaded.
As soon as we entered the school everything went black and soon I knew I was falling unconscious.

A Titan's Crusade
Erik Thayne spent most of his life being brutally ridiculed and tormented for his weight and physical appearance, among other things. A social pariah and diagnosed with an eating disorder no one has an explanation or treatment for, Erik spent years trying to overcome his issues with his personal image and escape the ridicule and vicious torment of his peers. After years of dedicated effort, and a fresh start in a town away from his childhood and adolescent tormentors, he had finally begun to truly realize what he'd been striving for all along. Only, fate apparently has other plans because in the blink of an eye, Erik found himself snatched from Earth and taken to another universe, another world, where he is offered the chance to be more than he'd ever imagined. Now, he has to fight to restore the Balance between Chaos and Order on a world of swords and magic, in a universe governed by the System's laws, which resemble those of RPGs from Earth. Erik learned to embrace the things about himself that others taught him to hate, using them to reforge his physical identity into something more removed from his old self-loathing. But can he learn to embrace the darkest parts of his mind just as he did the reviled aspects of his body and become who he needs to be to succeed in the task set before him? It might just prove easier to stalk in the dark as a monster than to walk in the light as a man... *This is my first time publishing anything I've written to a public audience. Due to formatting issues, I forwent traditional stat-screens for something a little less problematic, delineating stat screens by separating them from regular text with horizontal lines in a lighter-grey coloration. Let me know if you like them or not. Criticism is entirely welcome, but please don't hate on my work after only reading 1 chapter. This is a writing project I intend to complete but I have committment problems so we'll see how long this goes on. Also, fair warning, as the description implies, the main protagonist is intended to be someone who has been treated cruelly, developed antisocial tendencies, and ultimately has to question his own humanity--or lack thereof. This story is not intended to be brutally dark but I will definitely be trying to follow a darker theme. It is intended to be violent and some scenes later in the story might be...alarming. There will likely also be some light, non-graphic (think more implied with crude jokes and conversation than actual details, there will be no full-blown sex scenes)relationship scenes planned later and if you're opposed to either a bisexual or gay main character, stay away. I haven't yet decided which way he's going to swing but the odds on him being straight are relatively miniscule, and I've always wanted to write a story about a gay man who basically looks like a lumberjack because who doesn't like giving conventional stereo-types the middle finger? This will NOT be a harem story, and I have no intention to focus on romance over action--it's a consequence of character development where I'm concerned, not the be-all-end-all of the story. The cover-art does not, in any way, belong to me. It was an image titled the Druid King (by duskanmarkovic according to the file name) which I found on Google Images. Until I can get something commissioned, this is the best stand-in image I could find.
