NCT DREAM ASKING FOR A BREAK IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP

"I just don't think it's working anymore, let's take a break shall we?" he calmly said after a heated argument in front of his members. You guys have been like this for the past days, fighting over useless stuff, him shouting and you defending yourself. You can't believe he let that get into him.

"So this is how it's going to be? Once it gets rough you leave?" you said while wiping your tears.

"Y/n wait, I didn't mean-" you didn't let him finish as you left him outside their practice room.

RENJUN

"You're being so annoying again!" Renjun shouted when you asked him what time he'll be home one night. He had been staying out and drinking with Jaemin and Jeno lately, the time that you would usually cuddle was forgotten already.

"I just want to know because I'll cook dinner-" but before you could finish you heard him sigh loudly no the phone.

"I don't like this anymore, let's take a break." he said, cutting the phone call off.

JAEMIN

"Can't you see that I'm in the middle of a practice now?!" he shouted over the line. You knew that he was in fact, busy at the moment. But you really need him now, you got into an accident and even though the bleeding was not that bad, you're still scared.

"but-" before you could actually tell him what happened, he sighed loudly as you heard a few harsh sounds on the background.

"I'm being scolded because of you. You weren't like this before, can we stop this for a bit?" he hurriedly said, sounding really impatient.

"Are you seriously asking that right now?" you unbelievably asked, tears started flowing on your eyes, "I'm in the fucking hospital you jerk, you're right, let's end this here." and before he could speak, you cut the phone call off and you turned off your phone.

JENO

"What? I'm with the guys right now" he boredly said when he answered the call. He was being distant lately, not knowing what was happening, you decided to call him one night after preparing a huge dinner to fix the both of you.

"I prepared a dinner, when will you be home?" you silently asked, feeling a bit proud of the dishes you made, he scoffed.

"Can you stop bothering me for a while? I thought you're a chill person and now you kept asking me where I was, it's getting annoying."

"Are you asking for a break?" you whispered, tears are urging to pour.

"If you could give more than that, why not?" he chuckled without a trace of humor.

You cleared your throat while wiping your tears, "I'll be gone with my things tonight, you can go home by then." you said, ending the call.

HAECHAN

"Y/n has been a pain in the ass lately, she's calling nonstop!" you heard Haechan complaining when you tried to give him a surprise visit one day. Feeling embarrassed and insulted, you went home instead. You tried not giving him a phone call or anything after that, not wanting to prove him right that you were annoying.

He didn't call you at all and it's making your stomach turn somehow. He didn't bother to text your or whatever, feeling a bit hopeless that this relationship will end just like that, you decided to visit him.

"Why are you here? You haven't messaged me for days and I assumed you wanted a break up." he sternly said while putting a towel on his neck. Not being able to speak because of the lump on your throat, he spoke again.

"Go home, y/n. I don't want you anymore." he said, leaving you alone on the cold outside.

CHENLE

"So you wanted a break?" you swallowed, slowly processing what he said. Three years, down to drain, just because he's getting bored.

"If it goes well we could just break it off completely." he said, completely talking like all of these are nothing. Jisung on his side gave him a nudge, maybe feeling uncomfortable that he had to see the both of you break up in front of him.

"What? I can't even play games properly because you call every 10 minutes. Let's just stop this." he said, and you nodded. "I'll take my things and I'll be out of the house by night." you said, leaving the two alone.

"You'll regret that, Chenle." Jisung warned, "Don't think so." he replied.

JISUNG

Jisung has been busy after for their comeback, he had to prepare a lot so he wasn't able to come home lately. And whenever he does, you two would just argue, because he was too pressured in the practice room, his anger was always pointed at you.

One day he decided to prepare the breakfast and woke you up, feeling happy that he was trying to fix the both of you, you happily ate.

"Let's stop this for a bit, y/n." he mumbled, making you stop eating as well.

"I know the both of us know that this isn't going well. Let's just, stop." he sighed tiredly, leaving the room with his bag. Leaving you alone with a breakfast for two. With tears in your eyes.
