"i'll be right back," your older sister, loren said, getting up from the couch leaving a space between yourself and her boyfriend, lucas. you watched as she pranced upstairs, her long hair bouncing with each step.
descendants of the sun played quietly on the large flat-screen TV in front of you. The room was nearly silent. You glanced over at your sister's boyfriend slyly, admiring his side profile. He was so undeniably handsome, you couldn't stop staring at him. You had always been slightly jealous of your sister, she always got the good ones.
Lucas cleared his throat, startling you a bit. "Do you need something?" he asked turning his head in your direction, his eyes meeting yours. Your heart leaped when you noticed a small smirk on his lips. He knew you had been staring.
"Umm, I-I was just thinking," you lied, biting the inside of your cheek lightly.
"About what?" Lucas asked, seeming genuinely interested.
You panicked, not expecting him to press further. Mind blank, you simply told the truth. "Okay, you got me...I-I was just looking at you."
Lucas chuckled, running a hand through his fluffy brown hair. "That's interesting, I've never been stared at for five complete minutes before..."
"Personally I find that hard to believe," you grinned, tucking your legs under yourself as you grew a bit more comfortable. You were slowly coming out of your shell.
"Oh really? Why is that?" Lucas asked grinning back at you. He shifted a bit closer to you, not too much to make you uncomfortable, just enough for him to recline slightly on the arm of the couch.
"You have got to be kidding me, don't tell me you're mister 'i don't know i'm hot'. You've got this whole, 'confident, cute, college guy' thing going on." you said without giving your words a second thought, "So yes, I find it hard to believe that you haven't been stared at before for long periods of time."
"Aww, come on don't flatter me. I'm just an average looking dude," Lucas joked, unintentionally moving closer.
"Whatever, I'm sure you had many girls and boys drooling over you before you started dating my sister," you replied.
"Well, there was this one guy..." Lucas started, his brown eyes gazing at the ceiling feigning wistfulness.
"Was he cute?" you asked immediately, closing the gap between the two of you. Neither of you seemed to notice the small distance left between you two.
Lucas stared a little too long at your face, making you slightly self conscious. "I don't really swing that way, but for your info, he wasn't as cute as you."

You mouth hung open slightly. Did he just call me cute? "Are you flirting with me?" you asked.
"Maybe." Lucas shrugged, glancing back at the TV. You couldn't help the flutter in your chest. An attractive guy, with a nice personality, was flirting with you. A guy who happened to be your sister's boyfriend.
You stared at the side of his chiseled face once more, and opened your mouth to say something. Before your words could come out, you heard Loren's steps as she made her way back down the staircase. Suddenly noticing your proximity to her boyfriend, you hastily scooted back to the corner of the sofa.
"What did I miss?" Loren asked smiling widely as plopped down into her spot between you and Lucas. Scoot over, silly," she said playfully, pushing Lucas back to his original position.

"oh dear baby sisterrrr," loren called sweetly from her room. It was now around 9 o'clock, and you were just chilling in your room, chatting with your friends on snapchat and browsing through youtube. You got up reluctantly, and dragged yourself across the hall to her room, you knew she wanted something from you.
"What Loren?" you asked bluntly as you swung her door open swiftly, making the door knob hit the wall behind it. Loren jumped in surprise, clutching her chest dramatically, "Jeez y/n, not so rough." You rolled your eyes, and waited for her to tell you the reason why she called you.
"I'll just cut to the chase, I just started my period, like right now, and I need someone to keep Lucas busy while I freshen up," Loren said, looking at you as if she were trying to make you pity her.
"And..." you asked boredly.
"Ugh, please go keep Lucas entertained," she sighed.
"Okay, but you know that were not supposed to have boys over at night, I mean what if mom were to somehow find out about this..?" you asked, feigning innocence, your voice trailed as you avoided eye contact.
"I'll introduce you to his friend," she bribed, catching your drift.
"The tall one with the-"
"Yessss, I'll introduce you to Jaehyun. Now go!" Loren said, shoving you out of her room.
"You're the best, I'll make sure your man is entertained and comfortable," you joked as you saluted her and made your way downstairs.
"weirdo," you heard Loren say before closing the door.
You skipped down the steps, grinning at the thought of Lucas' tall, cute friend, Jaehyun. As you pictured his luscious golden brown hair, you missed a step. You shrieked, closing your eyes tightly and bracing for impact, expecting to hit the floor and die. Instead of landing on the cold wooden floor. You felt a pair of warm, strong arms wrap securely around your body, in an attempt to keep you standing upright. One arm locked around your waist, the other wrapped around your hip. You were chest to chest with Lucas.

"Woah, are you okay?" Lucas asked looking down at you, his warm breath tickling your neck. Your heart was beating quickly, not just from the near fall, but also from the way he held you securely in his arms.
"Yeah, yeah...I'm okay," you said breathily. Your chest heaved as you spoke. "I was just a little distracted," you whispered, looking deep into his dark, mesmerizing eyes.
Lucas was equally mesmerized as he stared at your dazzling eyes and soft pink lips in the dim light. Your were beautiful to him. Not to say that Loren wasn't, but you outshined her in every aspect. He knew his thoughts weren't appropriate considering he had a girlfriend, but he truly couldn't help it.
Lucas moved forward, backing you up against the wall, near the staircase. "Lucas what are you doi-" you started.
"Before I do anything that could potentially get me arrested, how old are you again?" Lucas asked, whispering softly as he cut you off. (homie ain't trying to catch a case❌)
You furrowed your brows in confusion, What does my age have to do with anything?
"I'm nineteen, my birthday was last month, why thou-"
"Good," Lucas spoke, cutting you off again. He cupped your cheek with the hand that previously rested on your hip. Your mind went blank when seeing him duck his head closer to your face. His eyes focus solely on your lips. Unable to move a muscle, you simply stared up at him, occasionally glancing at his lips as well.
"Tell me if you want me to stop," Lucas whispered.
You knew what was about to happen, and you knew it was wrong but you couldn't stop what was coming.
Lucas pressed his lips softly onto yours, kissing you gently. Your eyes fluttered shut as you wrapped one arm around his neck, the other pressing lightly on his broad, built chest. You lips parted allowing his tongue to slip into your mouth. You kissed him back matching his pace and intensity. His left hand dropped from your waist, sliding lower along your thigh. You shivered at his touch as he gripped your thigh, hooking it around his waist. His body was now fitted between your legs, his chest pressed against yours and your back still against the wall.
Lucas pulled away and looked into your eyes. Your chest heaved, your breathing uneven as you struggled to catch your breath. Lucas moved his lips to your jawline, leaving a trail of kisses from your jaw, down your neck to your collarbone. You let out an involuntary moan as he nipped softly at your skin. Never had a boy kissed you in such ways, the feeling was foreign to you. He softly sucked the skin on your neck, leaving small, discolored marks. You moaned softly in his ear, and unintentionally bucked your hips towards his. You tensed immediately, realizing the sensuality of your actions. Your face became hot with slight embarrassment.
You heard a chuckle from Lucas as he pulled away to look you in the eyes. "You're so cute and innocent," he said smiling at you. Reassured by his smile, you smiled back at him and shrugged your shoulders.
"I've never been kissed like that before," you admitted quietly.
"That's good," Lucas said, he wanted to be the only one to give you such a memorable kiss.
Suddenly you heard a door swing open from upstairs. Lucas let go of your thigh softly as you hurriedly pushed him away. You quickly pretended to be straightening the family photo that hung on the wall above your head, while Lucas simply pulled out his phone pretending to be texting someone.
Loren sauntered down the stairs, in a new outfit after having taken a quick shower. "It's getting late, I think it's about time I drive you back home." she said to Lucas. Lucas looked up from his phone nodding in agreement.
"Yeah..." he said, rubbing his neck awkwardly. This was the first time you had seen Lucas acting strangely towards your sister. You began to wonder if they were truly compatible.
Loren took his hand at grabbed his jacket from the coat rack. "Bye baby sis, I'll be back in a bit." she said walking towards the door, with Lucas trailing behind her.
"It was nice seeing you," Lucas said quietly, winking when your sister looked away.
You blushed furiously, "Yeah..you too.." you said biting your lip.
Lucas gave a small wave before stepping out of the house.
