"Achoo!*"
"Bless you." Lia stated as she looks over at her dear friend. Lily sitting by her desk as she blew her nose into a piece of tissue. Sniffing once she was done.
"Are you sure that you've recovered from your cold? You could have just stayed another day at home to rest." Her friend asked in concern. Lily only waves her hands off at her.
"Lia I'm finee, trust me. Besides, it's better going to school than just staying at home doing nothing. Even I started getting bored of just reading at home all the time."
"Wow didn't know that Xu Lili could get bored of reading!" Lia exaggerates as she rolls her eyes at her.
"I'm surprised of that myself. Also, if I don't come to school then Renjun would keep skipping classes or even school to visit me?! I don't want to be the cause as to why he has a bad attendance." She later than explains whilst sniffing at the end.
"How sweet, he's just whipped for you Lily." Her friend cooes.
"Even so, he shouldn't be missing school."
"Oh by the way, have you told him about it yet? You going to college abroad?" Lia changes the topic.
"Yeah I did. Honestly though, I thought that he was going to react a lot different." She replies.
"And that is??"
"Don't know why but this tough guy act of his made me think that he'd just be like "Oh alright then." But no he acted completely different. He was begging for me to not leave him alone, hahaha it was cute." Lily explains.
"Huh look at you smiling." Her friend teases as she points out the smile that Lily had on her face.

* A couple months later
"Had five months already passed by this fast?" Renjun questions. He and Lily were currently in his car as the two were driving around the city at night.
"It passed by really fast, hasn't it?" She replied as he nods his head in reply. Staying quiet, not knowing what to say next.
"Why'd you look so I don't know, sad?" Lily asked when seeing her boyfriend having an anxious look on his face.
"Is it really that obvious?" He asked back. A small chuckle leaving her lips as she nodded her head.
"You're usually really quiet when you're upset. We've been together for eight months, I've started to notice these stuff about you." She replies as she waits for his response.
They stopped at a red light. This giving Renjun the opportunity to look over at his girlfriend.
He smiles at her, before taking a hold of her hands.
"You're literally leaving me tomorrow and you expect me to not be sad about your departure? What fucking world are you living in Lily tsk." Ahh there's the normal Renjun back.
"As if I'm not sad as well." She scoffs and looks out the window.
"I really don't want you to leave me. But that's just life I guess." He sighs before releasing her hand so that he could start the car and drive off when the light had turned green.

"Thanks for tonight. I enjoyed my time with you... I'll get going now, you drive home safely." Lily stated once Renjun had stopped in front of her house. The girl about to open the door when he held onto her hands to stop her.
"Wait. I actually have something for you. It's nothing special but i thought I'd give you a farewell gift." He said as he reached for a small bag from the backseat and hands it over to her.

A gasp left her lips when seeing the gift that he had prepared for her. "Renjun... it's beautiful. Thank you so much." She thanks him. Admiring the gift, it was a drawing that he had made for her.
"I'm glad that you like it..." The two of them then falling into silence.
"I'll try to not cry tomorrow when I send you off." Said Renjun. This making her snicker at his words.
"What a crybaby." Lily teases him as he rolls his eyes at her.
"Ya you've never seen me cry in front of you before. I can't say the same about you though." He retorted as she gently hits his chest.
"That was only once. I don't cry that often please." She tried to reason, Renjun grinning in amusement.
The two of them stayed like that for a while. Just staring into each others eyes as they had a warm smile on their faces. The distance between them decreasing.
"Do you mind?" Renjun asks. Holding the side of her face gently as he tilts her head to the side.
"Not at all." Her answer bringing a smile upon his face before he closed the small gap between them. Placing his soft lips on hers. The two of them sharing a delicate yet passionate kiss.
bzzzt!*...
The sound of Lily's phone buzzing interrupting their little moment as they pulled away from the kiss. She grits her teeths in annoyance whilst looking at the person whom was sending her those notifications.
"Who was it?" He asks her in curiosity. She let out a sigh before putting her phone inside her purse and removing the hair that was covering her face.
"My stupid brother. He was asking if I've arrived back home yet. Way to ruin the moment." She replied in irritation. He let out a chuckle.
"What are you waiting for then. You should probably start heading inside. Go ahead then, he's probably waiting for you." Said Renjun.
"Alright geez, no need to kick me out of your car." Lily opening the door and going out.
"Wait one more thing!" He called out. Making her stop at her traces as she was about to close the door.
She raises her brow up for him to continue talking.
"We should kiss more often. I like the feeling of your lips on mines." He said whilst showing her an innocent grin.
"You bastard." Lily shutting his car door shut before leaving him. Her face glowing red.

"why are you not smiling?"
"What's there to smile about?"
"No reason, you just look a lot more beautiful when you smile."

8 146The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it.
