---- flashbacks*
"Are you sure that you don't want me to walk you to class?" Her older brother questions. The two siblings entering the school building side by side.
She shakes her head a no.
"I told you that I could walk to my class alone now! I'm not a small child anymore Hao, goodness sakes I'm sixteen if you forgot." Lily frowns at her brother as he only messes her hair up. Making her even more grumpy.
"I know but you still look like my eleven year old sister in my eyes. Gosh my sister is growing up so fast." He reasons. The girl only shaking her head in disbelief.
"You know that you're also growing up too? It's not only me."
"I know.." Lily not listening to what her brother was saying as her attention was fixated somewhere else.
Her eyes suddenly landing on a figure of a boy with brown hair. He looked foreign, not only that but she's never seen him around school before. Could he perhaps be a new student?
"Wait Hao could you excuse me for a bit. There's this guy who looks like he's lost." Lily quiets her brother down as she went over to the boy. Minghao staring as his sister approaches the guy. A small smile couldn't help but to escalate its way on his face. His sister has always been so sweet, she really is growing up a little too fast.
"Here's your class." Said Lily once the two had stopped in front of the boys classroom. Him flashing her a sweet smile, the sides of his cheeks slowly blooming the colour rose.
"Ah thank you so much for helping me. I really owe you one." He thanks her, bowing to her a bit as she waves her hands at him to make him stop.
"Oh it was no problem, you don't need to bow to me. You're too kind." She scratches the back of her head in embarrassment.
"Heyy Junie is finally here! I thought you got lost on your way here!" A guy with tanned skin approaches them. Putting his arms around the boys shoulders.
He only eyes him in annoyance.
"Haha funny joke, hyuck." The guy sarcastically laughing.
"Well what are you waiting for, we saved you a seat! Jaemin and Jeno are waiting for you inside." The tanned skin boy who Lily guessed to be the boys friend stated. Pulling him inside the classroom.
He quickly looks over at Lily before thanking her once again; "H-hey thank you again for helping me!"
Lily just flashing him a smile as she waves him goodbye and walking over to her own classroom.
...
"Why are these books so heavy?" Lily complains to herself as she struggles to hold all the books in her hands. She makes her way towards the door, trying to open the library door so she could exit.
*durgh!
She bumps into the person who opened the library door as they were about to enter. Bumping her head against someone chest. The impact making her hold against the books in her hands loosen as she was close to dropping the pile of books.

"Oh I'm so sorry for bumping into you, here let me help you." The person spoke as they held onto her arms to stop the books from falling. Then taking half of them in their hands.
She looks up to be met with the same boy that she helped a couple weeks back.
"It's you!" Lily cheers as he looks at her startled before smiling at her shyly.
"Do you need help by any chance? You look like you're kind off struggling." He asked her. Awaiting for her response anxiously until she nodded her head a yes.
"If you don't mind, could you help me bring these books back to my place? You're not pressured to walk me home right?" She questions him as he shook his head.
"I wouldn't mind! I'd love to help you bring these books home... and walk you back home as well." He replies, mumbling the last part so Lily wasn't able to hear.
"We're here!" The girl cheers once they stopped in front of her place. Well they just stopped in front of her complex, since she didn't want to burden him even more by making him walk all the way to her house. The walk from school till here was long.
I would be lying if I said that the boy was not tired from all that walking, he didn't expect her to live so far away. But he didn't mind, since he got to walk with Lily.
"Lily there you are! Why didn't you call the driver to come pick you up?" Her older brother calls her name out. Walking over to the two teenagers direction. His eye widening when seeing the boy stood besides Lily.
"Oh it's you, the guy who my sister helped on the first day of school." He said as the boy bashfully smiled.
"I wanted to be healthy today and walk back home!" She replied whilst smiling sheepishly. Her older brother throwing her a look as he hit her head.
"Ouch!*" "Ya but look you made this poor boy walk all the way here! He's probably tired from all that walking and holding these books as well- ah here let me hold these books for my foolish sister. You must be really tired." Minghao taking the books out of the boys hands as he apologises to him in his sisters behalf.
"No worries, I was the one who willingly wanted to help her." The boy replied as he looks over at his wrist. Looking at the watch that was wrapped around his hand. His eyes going wide in panic.
"If you'll excuse me, I need to be going now. I have to pick up my younger siblings from school." He excuses himself, about to leave when Lily held onto his hand.
"Wait, what's your name? I never got the chance to ask." She asked him before he left.
"Renjun! My name is Renjun!" The boy shouted in a hurry before running off.
"What a nice guy. Too bad he already left, I was about to ask him if he wanted to come over for a cup of tea. Come on Lily, let's get going. Mom has been waiting for your arrival." Minghao spoke as he started walking towards the direction of their house.

Lily just standing there as she watches Renjun run off.
"Lily! You coming?" Her brother exclaimed, Lily quickly shaking her head to get back to her senses before walking over to her brother.
"Coming!"
...
"Another flower? But it's pink this time." She looks at her desk that was awaited by a single pink Lily. The girl sitting down at her seat as she examines the flower, seeing a small note attached to it.
~ 𝑹.
"The person leaving the flowers is getting a bit bolder this time and left a clue for you." Her best friend, Lia stated.
Lily looking over at her confused.
"Is R their initial? Lia, you know who this person is don't you? You come to school really early and probably see this secret admirer of mine coming to class everyday." She asks her. Lia looking away as she pretends as if she didn't know anything.
Whistling and trying to act unbothered.
"Liaa." She frowns at her, trying to get a word out of her.
"I'll treat you to strawberry shortcakes every Friday after school." Her offer making her dear friend look over at her in joy.
"Deal!"
"Ok I'll give you a hint. As if that hint that they gave wasn't obvious enough. Who else has the initial R that you're friends with?" Lia explains. This taking Lily a few minutes to think before it clicked.
"Renjun?"
"I'm home!" Lily calls out once she had arrived back home. The girl going upstairs to where her mother was at. Her mother was usually at her office, (to which Lily would usually call it her mother's sanctuary since she was always in that room) painting whatever comes to her mind. Her mother was an amazing painter, Lily didn't really get the idea of painting. She wasn't an artistic person, she'd rather prefer reading books and watch her mother paint then actually trying to paint herself.
*criiek!
The door to her mother's office opening as she enters. Seeing her mother yet again painting who knows what.
Hearing the door opening caught the attention of the older women as she looks behind to be greeted by her daughter. She smiles as she motions Lily to sit besides her.
"What are you painting this time?" Lily asked, examining the image that her mother had painted on the canvas.
"Oh I'm trying to paint an open meadow this time! Me and your father went over to one a few days ago and the view was too beautiful for me to not paint." Her mother replies as she caresses her daughters head.
"And you didnt think to bring me along with the two of you." Lily frowns. Earning a light chuckle to leave her mother's lips.
"Alright we're sorry for not bringing you along with us. By the way dear, how was your day at school today?" Her mother than questions her daughter about how her day went.
"Today was fine. Oh yeah i got another flower! It's a pink Lily this time, and I found out who the one giving me these flowers were." She answers and showed her mom the flower that her secret admirer (renjun) had given her.
"Another one! This person must really like you allot. Here let me put the flower with the rest of its friends." Lily handing the pink flower over to her mother, who later than went over to the desk where the rest of the flowers that renjun had given her was placed. Ever since she started getting flowers from him, her mother had been putting them all inside a vase so they wouldn't die. She's the one who's been taking care of them. Lily was the one who was receiving them but why was her mother the one who was excited about it 😭?
Idk her mother just thought that this person who's been giving her these flowers was really cute hahaha.
"The person who's been giving them is Renjun. You know the guy who once helped me bring my books home." Said Lily, her mother's eyes sparkling in enthusiasm.
"Oh I remember him! He was the cute boy with brown hair wasn't he?" She asked as Lily nodded her head a yes.
"Aigoo he's so adorable. Are you not planning to give him an answer? He's giving you flowers and you're kindly accepting it, this would only give him hopes that you also feel the same way for him?" Her mother tells her as Lily went quiet.
"I don't know... me and Renjun don't usually meet in school. Besides, what if he's just giving me flowers in a friendly way??" She tried to reason. This making her mother walk over to her.
"Oh my dear Lily. He gave you a pink Lily for a reason. Compare it to all the previous Lilies that he's given you. They're all white. He must really like you, if you don't feel the same way for him then it's best if you'd tell him straight off so you don't end up leading him, and so he'd stop giving you flowers. But if you do end up feeling the same way for him then you should also tell him that as well." Her mother explains.
"Hmm alright then... I'll wait for Renjun to confess to me one day and I'll give him an answer, so it all won't turn into a whole misunderstanding."

The Depths of Magic
Synopsis It's the year 2052 and the release of the new next-generation full-dive VRMMO game called The Depths of Magic is hitting the world by storm. The game's technology will surpass all other games before it and shock the masses. Hector who goes by the name Locke inside the game is an experienced player of the genre. He is looking to continue his goal of enjoying gaming as well as the competition that goes along with competing for the top ranking spots. Novel Summary The Depths of Magic is a LitRPG novel focused on a Fantasy VRMMO setting. This is not a harem novel. In-Game systems The Depths of Magic features state-of-the-art technology never before seen in Hector's world. The key system the novel will bring up often is the Second Brain. The Second Brain system is more like a guidance AI for the players in the game that acts as if you had a second brain assisting your every action. How much guidance this AI will give is based on its experience or mastery skills a player will receive in the game. The guidance is seamless to a point where a player won't even realize they are being assisted, it's will feel like what they are doing is something they could always do. However, once they leave the game it will become quite apparent that they were receiving heavy guidance. The purpose of this system in a writing sense is to explain why a player can realistically become more powerful, more agile, or more skilled than they would otherwise be able to as a human. To give an example if someone could move faster than a bullet, how would a normal human brain be able to perceive and control this movement properly. Or how could a player who has never held a sword before become as experienced as someone who has trained with the sword all their lives? The magic system will be another focus of this novel. I don't want to spoil anything here but it should be an interesting one. The hope is that the system I have made will spark discussion between the readers on what combinations will do what. I already have most of it, but it will be fun to read as the author. Side notes My general focus for this novel is to attempt to make the in-game systems make sense. To give a vague example I have read a lot of novels of this genre and some have the habit of just creating such powerful items that it just breaks the system, and somehow the MC keeps finding challenging situations even with those items. What tends to happen when I read a novel like this I just ignore the stats of the items he is getting because the numbers don't even matter anymore. Release schedule: The chapter release schedule due to real-life complications is to release as I write them. Patreon setup: 1 chapter early release/discord access. Free content up to the current chapter includes an excel sheet that contains Locke's current stats at the end of the chapter. This is extra information for those that are interested.

[Comics*] Season Of Destruction
Born as mortal sons to Napoleon Bonaparte's personal surgeon and forever altered by the sinister mentor who made them orphans, bloodsucking vampire brothers Lucien, Thibault and Marcel are less Lugosi, more dashing serial killers, sour and snobbish, fond of fine things. Not unlike a competitive clan of creepy Kennedy cousins. These nearly immortal all-stars of mayhem and murder lack talons, retractable fangs and vulnerability to garlic or sunshine. They cast shadows. They make reflections in mirrors, and when buried, our boys enter a state of metabolic suspension, "sleeping" until it's safe to rise and return to their work, harvesting heads. After more than 150 years in hibernation, the vampires are revived by the spilled blood of methamphetamine users killed in a gangland ambush. The trio are instantly and utterly addicted - not to the toxic drug itself, but to the blood of those who intravenously use meth. Soon the frankendrug's grip draws their destinies into a narrow spiral of addiction, and their plans to return to modern France are sidetracked, then forgotten as they become lost in the American empire-turned-nightmare of 2028. Season of Destruction is a story that runs on bodies. It's a swim meet in a shark tank, and very few make it out alive. It's a story about the beginning of the end of the world.
