college au, also sorry if this is sort of awkward :/ i never wrote sungchan x shotaro before and also never wrote a bottom sungchan sooo here it goes | (• ◡•)|
"you'll be having your final exams in two weeks, so make sure you come in prepared and all studied. class dismissed, get back to your dormitories." sungchan's teacher told to the whole class while closing his textbook. sungchan sighed, already contemplating his life of why he decided to continue university and college when he could have just chosen an easier path.
he stood up with all his book packed onto his bag and went out of the class, trying to get through the crowd. "sungchan!" the said male heard a familiar japanese voice as a grip was latched onto his wrist and pulled him away from the crowd. sungchan turned around and his mood immediately perked up, smiling as he saw shotaro.
"taro!" the japanese male smiled. he looked at sungchan's dark circles and winced slightly. "teacher beat you up?" sungchan hummed tiredly as he walked along shotaro, rubbing his eyes.
"he gave us homework on homework and it is killing me. i could really use like 18 cups of espresso"- as sungchan was speaking, he was cut off by the ear-raping sound of caramelldansen blasting from the school speakers. the two winced at the sound as his hands instantly went to their ears to block them. shotaro and sunghcan sighed, knowing one of the students probably hacked into the speaker room.
they continued walking as some of the students behind them started dancing to the song, some of them including taeyong, mark, donghyuck, taeil, chenle and jisung. shotaro placed his hand onto his boyfriend's shoulder, gently massaging it. "maybe you could ask jaemin-hyung for it. his dorm is right next to you, right?" sungchan nodded, yawning slightly. shotaro smiled cutely as he said reassuringly, "and i can help you with your homework! if i know what the topic is and if i understand it." sungchan chuckled and nodded.

"that would be so much help." sungchan said as they went inside the elevator, pressing button '3' as it was where most of the boys dormitory was. as the elevator closed, sangchan let out a deep exhale and laid his head against shotaro's shoulder while his back was leaning against the elevator wall for suppport. shotaro chortled as he stroked sungchan's hair. "you're that tired?'
sungchan lighly pouted. "you can't blame me, sho. he gave me five assignments yesterday! and another today!" sungchan rolled his eyes in aggravation, still annoyed at his damn teacher. shotaro widened his eyes slightly. although he had homework too, he didn't get that much like sungchan. "your teacher's the devil in silhouette." sungchan looked at him weirdly while laughing. "really!"
"he's a male. but i guess the devil can be gay." the two students giggled at their totally mature conversation as the elevator door opened, them, stepping out of the lift. as they reached their room, shotaro opened the door with their key. "you can go to jaemin-hyung first." shotaro smiled at sungchan who nodded and placed a small kiss onto shotaro's cheek and gave him his bag before walking to their neighbor.
"jaemin-hyung, can i have 18 cups of espresso, please?" he said loud enough as he knocked on their door. immediately the door was opened with jaemin holding a white mug that had 18 cups of espresso like how sungchan wanted. "here." jaemin handed the steaming mug to sungchan carefully as he leaned onto the doorframe with his arms crossed. "homework again? i would never want to be with your teacher." sungchan giggled and nodded.
"wish i could do that too. thank you hyung!" jaemin nodded and ruffled his brown locks before closing the door. sungchan smiled and went back to his own room, closing the door behind him.

"how is your book so heavy?!" sungchan looked up and saw shotaro struggling to lift the heavy books. shotaro almost felt his arm give up on their lives as he finally placed the thicc book on the coffe table before lying on the sofa. "i give up," shotaro said while burying his face onto the soft mattress with the fluffy blankets that sungchan insisted of buying. "and i haven't even opened it yet."
sungchan smiled and walked over to shotaro, cuddling onto him. shotaro smiled and wrapped his arms around the korean male, gently stroking hid dark brown locks in a motherly way that very much soothed the younger male to sleep. "should we take a rest first before doing this big pile of homework?"
sungchan giggled as he wrapped his arms around shotaro's neck, placing a small peck onto his lips. "that would be awesome." shotaro smiled back in a gentle way and kissed sungchan's forehead. "it sure would."
also turned around sungchan's teacher, who shotaro once quoted as the 'devil in silhouettes' is actually a homosexual. noice.

My father scolds me sharply. I flinch at the anger in his voice and quickly retract my hand, inches from the trunk of the tree. "Sorry father, I couldn't help it. The trees are just so beautiful," I whine turning towards him. His face softens slightly and he scoops me up into his muscled arms. I wrap my small arms around his neck and bury my face into his shoulder. He hugs me tightly and carries me away from the forest. "Why can't we go into the forest?" I ask, looking over his shoulder to see the red and gold leaves slowly disappear from view as we climb the hill. "The forest is a dangerous place," he sighs. "How can something so beautiful be so dangerous?" I mutter in confusion. "The danger is in its beauty."**Cover by SodaliteSilver**
