"why are we here again." doyoung groaned, as the group walked into the forest. taeyong snickered and nudged his side. "maybe we'll find something so shit it and just look."
"guys?" ten said loudly so everyone could hear. "holy shit."
what they saw was horrifying. people fighting each other while a small boy was curled up on the floor, shaking nervously.
"hey!" mark immediately went up to the front, confronting that he's the leader of the group. "what are you doing and who are you."
the enemies stopped bickering and looked at the squad of vampires before someone snickered. "well, look what we have here. the pesky little fucking blood-drinkers." the enemies laughed, feeling proud of what they said. mark growled, his eyes started to glow crimson red, his hand curled up into a fist.
"mark." taeyong went besides mark and nodded. "let's just fight back."
"oh? who would have thought the blood-drinkers can fight." the enemy's leader stepped up with a smirk, crossing his arms.
"okay that's it." mark lunged towards the leader and pulled him up by the collars of his shirt, gaining a terrified look from the enemy.
"listen here, bitch. first of allwe have a name, not blood-drinkers. second." mark leaned towards the leaders ear. "if you ever fuck with us again, i'll make you experience your last moments. you got that?"
"y-yes sir." mark let the leader go and the enemy scurried away. mark sighed loudly and looked at the boy who was looking at him, his doe like eyes was twinkling.
"hey. you alright?" that made the tanned male flinch, feeling mark's hand on his shoulder.
"p-please don't hurt me."
mark frowned when he hurt those words come out of the tanned male's mouth. mark crouched down and smiled gently.
"i'm not gonna hurt you. i promise." donghyuck looked at mark with a slight terrified look, his dark brown orbs filled with nerves. donghyuck fiddled with his fingers before nodding.

"mark." the said canadian looked up as johnny handed him a blanket, the older slightly nodding towards the tanned male.
mark took the blanket and gently wrapped it around the boy's shoulders. "i'm gonna take you to a safe place, do you trust me?"
the boy hesitated but nodded otherwise. mark smiled and picked the boy up bridal style. he was almost light as a feather.
"mark, i'll look after him." renjun said, patting the canadian's shoulder before going to treat the boy mark came home with.
yuta raised an eyebrow when he saw a small keychain and picked it up. "hey, taeil. come see this."
the said older stood up and went beside the japanese, taking the keychain. "holy shit."
"it's him."
"jaemin, stop flirting and help me goddamn it!" renjun hissed at his boyfriend who was back-hugging him. jaemin hummed and placed a kiss on his neck.
"i already did help. giving you love and affection." renjun rolled his eyes and turned around to smack the back of jaemin's head.
"but do you think he's gonna be okay though? like for real?" jaemin said, stroking renjun's light brown locks.
renjun hummed, glancing back at the tanned male. "i hope so. i just hope he remembers mark."
jaemin hummed and was about to say something when a soft voice spoke from behind
renjun was about to say something when a soft voice came from behind. "w-who are you?" renjun glared at jaemin before turning around to the tanned male.
the injured boy frowned. "r-renjun?" the chinese smiled widely and hugged the tanned male.
"hyuck, you don't know how much we were worried." donghyuck hugged back gently. they pulled away and renjun was about to call in mark when donghyuck's head started to hurt pain fully, the tanned male clutching his head.
"hyuck!" renjun quickly went over to donghyuck, jaemin running downstairs to call marl and the others.

"c'mon hyuckie! it's gonna be fun!" a small kid said to another toddler beside him, holding his hand.
"i'll keep you safe!"
"donghyuck!" jeno went to the tanned make's side, holding his arm as donghyuck winced at the pain from the migraine, he guessed.
"donghyuck." the said latter looked up and saw mark, the same leader who technically saved his life but donghyuck observed his face and frowned, he looks familiar.
donghyuck then remembered. "mark?"
the canadian grinned and hugged donghyuck, slightly but still being careful of the younger's injuries. "you remember me."
donghyuck smiled and hugged back. "of course i-i do." they pulled away with smiles, the others giving each other knowing looks.
"i have to go make dinner. jaehyun, johnny, get your lazy asses up and help me." taeyong said, grading the two tall towers behind him.
the rest eventually left the room after talking a bit to donghyuck.
now they were enjoying each other's company quietly and peacefully, mark's head resting on the tanned male's lap like it's a pillow while donghyuck gently stroked mark's fluffy hair.
it was a peaceful silence until mark spoke. "i'm sorry, hyuck."
donghyuck frowned and held mark's hand. "i broke our promise, didn't i? i said i'll keep you safe but i didn't. i'm so sorry."
when donghyuck saw a tear roll down mark's porcelain-like face, he frowned and wiped it away.
"mark, don't cry."
mark sat up and faced donghyuck. "how are you not mad at me, hyuck?"
the tanned male gently massaged mark's hand, that making mark calm down a little. "cause you saved me mark. you promised and look, i'm safe with you now."
donghyuck smiled and gently pecked mark's forehead. mark smiled softly and stroked donghyuck's dark brown hair, admiring the younger in his eyes.
"mark?" the canadian hummed. "uhn your eyes are turning red." the canadian quickly stood up and went to the bathroom to see his eyes crimson red.
"shit."
"mark? you okay?" donghyuck said from the bed, hugging a small cushion. mark breathed in and out slowly, not wanting to hurt the younger.
"i'll be back, sweetheart." mark went out of the bathroom and kissed donghyuck's forehead. before he could go out of the room, donghyuck grabbed his wrist.
"mark." donghyuck stood up and pecked mark's left cheek. "don't you dare think i forgot that you're a vampire."
the canadian let out a shaky sigh. "i don't want to hurt you, hyuck." donghyuck hummed and looked straight into mark's eyes. "i-i trust you."
mark let a silent growl, starting to feel his instincts. "donghyuck..."
"mark. where the hell did you hide my hairbrush." donghyuck said, crossing his arms as he went in their bedroom.
the canadian smirked. "i don't know."
donghyuck rolled his eyes and tried to reach it out of mark's hand but the canadian raised his arm up, not letting the tanned male get away so easily.
"oh come on mark! he's just a friend~" donghyuck said, wrapping his arms around mark's waist. "he's already in a relationship."
"promise?" donghyuck nodded and looked up to mark, his doe like eyes twinkling.
mark sighed and gave the younger his brush, gently stroking his hair before placing a kiss on donghyuck's forehead.
"i love you. so don't you dare cheat on me."
"i love you too. and i won't cheat on you. well, except with food."
