"okay, everyone shut up and listen." the art teacher clapped his hands and read the list. "so we're going to be drawing each other today. you have three weeks to finish the assignment, in any style but not mess up. i will name the people now."
taeyong's breathe hitched when his name was called. "taeyong with.. doyoung. doyoung, you'll be doing the same with taeyong. start now."
"well, look who i'm with." doyoung muttered as he was seated next to taeyong, the other male rolling his eyes.
"oh shut up." taeyong started to sketch, already thinking what he's going to do. he didn't know why but he really focused on it. doyoung glanced at taeyong and saw him putting while concentrating. still the same.
"taeyong." the said male hummed, not taking his eyes off the canvas. "do you still hate me?" taeyong's hand stopped its action.
"do you?" doyoung watched taeyong as he shakily placed his pencil down, letting out a sigh.
"doyoung. let's not talk about this in class." taeyong picked up the pencil and started to sketch again when doyoung spoke.
"then just talk to me after class. after school." taeyong was about to say something when the bell rang.
"doyoung-" before he could call him out, doyoung went to his other class.
needs to be handed.
taeyong's art piece was not going so well. with doyoung in his mind and everything he's been through with doyoung.
"goddamn it." taeyong sighed, earning a weird look from ten. "yong. you've been letting out sighs for god knows how many times. if you still like him, just tell him."
"sure, after i said i hate his guts in front of his face? i'll definitely have the balls to do that." taeyong snickered and crossed his arms.

"then i don't know." ten placed down his phone. "look, if doyoung wanted to talk to you, that wouldn't mean he want to be just friends again. he even asked first if you still hate him. give the guy a chance."
1 week before the assignment needs to be handed.
"ten, tell me if this sucks." taeyong turned the canvas around and showed it to the thai male.
the canvas was a painting, a fanart style of doyoung leaning against a cherry blossom tree, the petals looking like they were about to fall with some already falling. it was absolutely beautiful.
"and you did this in a week?" taeyong smiled proudly and nodded. "and you're gonna give this to doyoung? are you finally giving him a chance?"
"well." taeyong sighed and placed the canvas down gently. "i've been thinking about it and maybe i could give him a chance."
ten smiled. "atta boy! go get some!"
"okay, everyone has their assignment, am i right?" once everyone said yes, the teacher smiled. for once everyone did their shits. "i have a meeting to attend so behave yourselves. exchange your assignments with the person you got!"
once the teacher left, taeyong looked down at his art piece. he sighed before walking up to doyoung, about to explode from nervousness.
"doyoung." the said male looked up and was given a canvas. "holy.. taeyong?"
he saw the latter's signature on the bottom right and looked up to see taeyong. "the assignm-ment. also, can we talk? please?"
doyoung looked around and once he saw everyone minding their own businesses so he nodded. taeyong sat down next to doyoung, timidly.
"i-i'll give you a chance." doyoung looked up, taeyong smiled. "it maybe a little late b-but if you want to start over we can-" doyoung cut him off and hugged him tightly, earning some attentions from others.

"thank you. thank you so much." taeyong saw other people staring at him but then, they all gave him a thumbs up. "d-doyoung. people are staring at us."
doyoung pulled away and stared at taeyong's eyes, before pressing their lips together. taeyong's eyes widened as doyoung's arms wrapped around his small waist.
cheers in the classroom along with claps and whistles were heard from their classmates as taeyong kissed back, fluttering his eyes shut while his hand played with doyoung's hair.
"let's continue this at home shall we?"
"d-doyoung, wait- hmm." taeyong was cut off when doyoung kissed him passionately, closing the door behind him before pinning taeyong against the door, both breathless.
"d-doyoung.." doyoung watched as taeyong panted, trying to catch his breathe, his lips slight swollen.
"i love you." doyoung panted as well and kissed taeyong's forehead.
"i love you too."

Between Mountains and Moons
Under the light of the three suns, the scorching sands of The Great Desert test any who are brave and or foolish enough to cross its vast and treacherous expanse. With each passing year, it becomes more and more of a necessity as The Great Desert is ever expanding. Omid knew this as he signed onto a caravan crossing. He knew of the dangers and ancient magics that this unrelenting land holds. He knew of ancient kingdoms long lost, buried by the sands. He knew of the strange in-human inhabitants, the true masters of The Great Desert seeking to expand their dominion and drive humanity to the edges of the world. When he is offered the chance to learn magic from a master, Omid agrees eagerly at the chance to discover such ancient arts, and to even dream of defending against a hostile world and all that would claim to rule it. But nothing in this formidable domain is ever easy, nor simple, nor as it seems. Be vigilant, act with cunning, and always remember to choose your words wisely. Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
