Indigo was awakened by the sharp smell of pancakes and bacon. With a yawn she threw her blanket of herself as she exited the bed. Standing up she did her daily stretches. Stretching her arms she felt her bootyhole shiver.
After stretching she made her bed up and picked up the trash on the floor of her room. Today was Christmas so of course everyone will be opening presents soon. Looking in the mirror she shook her head in disgust at her reflection. She had sleep lines on her face, dried drool on her face and her hair was a hot ass mess.
Going to the bathroom she took a quick shower and brushed her teeth. Looking at the mess on her head she sighed. Indigo had a love hate relationship with her hair. Sometimes it was cooperative and other times, well most of the time, it did not cooperate.
But she did love her hair. She loved the thickness, her kinky coils and the way it grew up towards the sky. Picking up her comb she started to part and comb her hair. Parting it in two sections she sprayed it with a mixture of rice water, aloe vera, two eggs and conditioner. That mixture was the secret to her length and healthy coils.
Combing the back section she put it in a bun before also folding the front section into the bun, making one top bun sitting in the middle of her head. Using coconut oil she picked out the bun. Leaving her edges undone she used a scarf tying it around her head.
Opening her dresser to look for something to wear she pulls out a christmas themed onesie. Putting it on she slips on a pair of slippers.
Walking to the other side of the hall Indigo opened the door to her brother's room. Seeing him writing in a small notebook with headphones on she jumped on the bed making a loud sound.
Violet jumped a little before seeing that it was her and smacked his teeth saying, "You play too damn much". Meanwhile Indigo was laughing on the floor as few tears slipped from the side of her eyes. "It's not even that funny", he said straight facing her as he walked out the room.
Seeing Indigo continue to laugh aggravated him so much that he gently pulled her hair, "Stop. you're a bully". Next thing they knew they were fighting.
"Let go of my hair. Your cheating", Indigo laughed as Violet dragged her down the steps by her bun. Ameena came into view shaking her head at them, "Y'all don't want to eat". Ameena was beyond happy that the two siblings were getting along and forming a tight bond.
The two twins looked at each other before Violet said, "Race you there". Before Ameena can blink the two teenagers run off. Grabbing the same chair at the same time Violet pushes Indigo to the side as he sits in the chair.
Getting up from the floor Indigo tilted the chair to the side as Violet slid to the floor. Sticking her tongue out at him she sat in the seat. "Childish as fuck", Violet mumbled as he sat in the seat directly next to her.

Looking at the different assortments of foods on the table Indigo let out a small smile as she grabbed a plate. Placing a few pancakes in her plate, she scooped a little serving of eggs along with bacon in her plate.
For the next thirty minutes they ate with a few small talk. After Indigo ate, she helped her aunt clean up along with Violet.
When the kitchen was all cleaned up they went to the living room as they waited for the present opening to start. Ameena had a tendency to go all out for holidays, and the Christmas decorations in the living room just proved that.
A six feet tree sat in the living room decorated with colored lights along with small family pictures. Ameena came into view along with Kenji with Christmas pjs on. Violet followed after them taking a seat next to Indigo.
"Take our picture", Ameena asked, passing her phone to Indigo. Indigo waited for her parent figures to pose in front of the tree before she took a few pictures. Ameena and Kenji shared a kiss as they each held one of the family cats.
Smiling at the picture, Indigo passes Ameena's phone back to her. "Are we going to open presents now", Violet questions. Nodding his head Kenji goes, "Yea who wants to go first".
"I do", Indigo goes flying to the tree. Digging through the pile of gifts she picks out the presents that she bought. Giving a huge box to Ameena and Kenji she says, "I made a joint gift for y'all". Opening the gift very careful a smile came over their faces as they looked at the gift.
Indigo spent the past few weeks painting a large canvas size painting of the couple. "Thank you baby. This is so beautiful", Ameena told her as she gently ran her hand over the painting. Kenji reached over to wrap Indigo in a hug as he kissed her forehead, "I love you".
Indigo cheesed from the praise that they were giving here as she passed them the next gift. "This gift is from all of us to you TT". Violet sat up reaching over as he passed the second half of the gift to Ameena.
Opening the box Ameena saw it empty with only a letter in the bottom of the box. The letter had three different handwritings each section saying different things. Gently opening the letter she read the contents out loud as everyone listened attentively.
To Ameena,
Hey TT, you can probably tell by how neat my handwriting is but this is Indigo (your favorite niece) Firstly I just want to say thank you for all you have done for me. I still remember how you sacrificed your senior year of highschool to see me everyday in that group home. Thank you for fighting for me when nobody else did. Thank you for giving a shoulder to cry on and someone to laugh with. Thank you for taking me in when you didn't have to. I'm so proud of you and all you have accomplished in your life. You deserve the world and beyond. I love you so much Ameena. Until the end of time.

Hi TT, it's Violet. You know your favorite nephew. I remember meeting you and Indigo. That was the best day in my life because my life changed forever. I was an angry person, I still am, but you manage to help me and deal with my bad ass attitude. Everyday you sit me down and allow me to rant to you. Then you pray for me and let me know that better times are ahead. Your love allowed me to gain my passion for music again. Something that I had lost a while ago. In the two months that I have known you, you have affected me so much. I love you so much TT.
Hey babe. I don't even know where to start. I met you when I was just trying to get coffee and you ran into me. Since that day we have been attached by the hip. I remember meeting Indigo a few weeks later. You were sharing a dorm with her at the time. I was inspired by your dedication to take care of your niece. Now Violet came along and you open your home to him with no hesitation. Your love and strength concerning your family is something that I love about you. You have achieved so much at a young age and watching your progress makes me proud. I love you so much mama.
From, your favorite people in the world.
P.S. Look behind you
Ameena felt the tears go down her face as she read the note out loud. Opening her arms her niece and nephew both wrapped her into a hug. "I love yall so much", she whispered as she kissed their foreheads.
Turning around she saw Kenji kneeling down on one with a small box in his hand. Covering her face she peeked between her fingers, "Wait you dead ass", she asked sniffing.
"Say yes", Violet whispered to her. Looking at the shiny ring Ameena was so confused she didn't know what to say. Shifting Kenji says, "Not to rush you or anything but my knee hurt sooo". Nodding her head, Ameena placed a kiss on his lip, "Yes", she whispered to him.
Holding her hand out Kenji slipped the ring onto her finger. Holding the ring to her light Ameena could see her reflection through the huge diamond. "Ooo you got moneyyy", she laughed as she embraced him into a hug.
"Lemme see the ring", Indigo asked as she grabbed her aunt's hand observing the ring. Violet also proceeds to examine the ring. After everyone calmed down and got over the excitement the exchange of gifts continued.
Taking two small boxes from the bottom of the tree Indigo passed them to Violet as she nervously tapped her finger. "Open the white box first", Indigo directed him. Her twin brother opened the box to see two bracelets.
They were both diamond encrusted but one was Violet while the other said Indigo. "There best friend bracelets", Indigo explained to him as she helped him put one of them on before placing the other one on her wrist.
"Thanks NiNi", Violet said as he wrapped his twin sister into a hug, placing a kiss on her forehead. Indigo then slid him the other box, this one significantly smaller than the other one. Taking the lid off the box he opened it to see a small bag. Opening the bag he took out a hand painted key.
"Okay so I know you have been getting back into music and shit so I made you lil some", Indigo says as she walks to the backyard with him and the rest of her family. The backyard in her house was huge and has a shed. The shed is the size of a room and has a bathroom.
Gesturing to the door of the shed Violet opened the door with the painted key that his sister gave him. The minute he walked into the room his jaw dropped. Even though it was a small space it looked huge at the moment.
The walls were decorated with graffiti and different paintings. The room was turned into a mini studio with mics, dashboards and other equipment needed for recording music.
"You like it", Indigo asked nervously. Violet hugged her again repeatedly saying thank you as he tried to hold back tears. This is the first Christmas where he actually received presents.
Walking back into their house Violet gave Indigo her gifts which included a bunch of clothes and shoes along with materials she needs for art. "Aight so these people are doing some art gallery thingy and I signed you up. They have a 10,000 money prize". Taking the invitation and thank you they moved on to the next set of gifts.
Ameena passed the set of twins one small box each. Opening her box Indigo looked between the car keys and her aunt in confusion before it clicked in her head. Both her and Violet ran outside to the driveway where they saw two cars with bows on them.
Both of the cars were blue, seeing that it is the twin's favorite color, but one was a Mercedez while the other was a BMV. Indigo ran towards the direction of the Mercedez already knowing that it was hers.
Hugging the car Indigo kissed the hood of it repeatedly, Violet repeating her actions to his own car. "Thank you", Indigo said repeatedly as she hugged both her aunt and Kenji.
"I only got them cause I'm sick of yall using my car", Kenji said with a small smile.
~~~
The small family of four sat covered with blankets as they attentively watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas. All the lights were off as the Christmas tree shined bright and light reflected from the television.
The quiet was suddenly broken by the ringing of a phone. Checking her pocket Ameena pulls out her phone going to the kitchen to answer her call. A few seconds later she comes back to the living room, her face dead pale. "You good", Kenji asks as he pauses the movie.
"We have to go to the hospital", Ameena replies.
The Crucible - (Terror Infinity Fanfic)
There has always been those that stood out from the crowd. Heroes of old, undefeated warriors and demigods battling beasts of myth. These stories are written off as fiction and folk stories of ignorant people long lost to time. Nothing to prove them true except old family stories but what if people just weren't looking in the right place. Old truths no longer apply to the modern age of science but that doesn't stop them. The system that protects and finds these great people still exists and asks the same question it always has. “Do you want more than this life? Want to live… a real life?” YES/NO Who hasn't read Terror Infinity and thought I wonder what upgrades I would choose. I love the Web Novel and Side B. I did change a lot but the basic premise is still the same. Feel free to leave thoughts and suggestions in the comments. This is my first attempt at writing and I haven't done much of it since I left University 13 years ago. This is also more of a hobby than trying to become an author but that doesn't mean I will drop it just don't expect fast releases. I will mainly work on an Arc and post the arc's chapters in groups when I finish a whole arc. Kinda like Side B used to be.
