I walk around and start going through the stuff. There were hundreds almost endless amounts of lights and decorations that looked like they haven't been touched for years. "Whow."

"I know." Jen says," This stuff hasn't been touched for years."

"I see." I state as I pull out some of the lights which were covered in dust and cobwebs.

"Okay Heath you're going to be in charge of hanging all these lights up. Riley you're going to set up the Christmas trees, you're also in charge of decorations."

"What are you going to do?" Heath asks Jen.

"I'm going to manage." Jen sticks her tongue out childishly. Heath stares at her," Fine I'll help you guys too." She groans in defeat.

We all start by opening the boxes and taking everything out. We organized them into two groups: lights and decorations.

After a while, I had set up about five small Christmas trees around the house and a really big one in the lounge close to the fireplace. I actually never knew they had one.

Once I put the last decoration on the enormous tree, I decide to take a walk around the house to look at our work.

The whole lounge was covered in white balloons representing snow. Jen blew over five hundred, she almost passed out because she had gotten light headed, but Heath ran out to a twenty four hour convenience store and bought a balloon pump.

The lights were hung along the frames of the walls and the stair railing illuminating the whole room. There were fake snowflakes hung from the ceiling, and fake reindeers set on the ground along with giant fake candy canes. It was almost like wonder land in Christmas.

The one thing that set me off the whole time was Heath. He hasn't talked to me the whole time, not even a 'hi'. He knows that I know something and I'm freaking out on the inside.

"Isn't it awesome?!" Jen asks excitedly standing next to me.

"It's amazing." I simply state. "This is going to be their best Christmas yet."

"And yours too." Jen puts a hand on my shoulder and smiles at me.

"I know." I pull her into a hug. "Thank you so much." I say.

She pulls herself out of the hug," For what?"

"For everything. You're like a sister I've always wanted."

"Awww! So are you." She pulls me in for another hug.

"If you're little sister thing is over, can we go to sleep now? I mean we have to wake up in five hours." Heath butts in. I yawn and Jen starts laughing.

"Yeah, sure; though, you're in charge of getting their gifts." Jen tells Heath. Heath nods knowingly as he walks up the stairs.

I rub my eyes and face Jen," Let's go." She nods and I walk up the stairs while she turns off the lights.

"Mmmm! Oh! Shit! Oh my-fuck!"

"UGHHH!" I groan into my pillow as I've been hearing a girl fricken yell for the past hour from across the hallway. It's fricken seven in the morning. I can't believe I slept in that bed with him. Ew. I shiver under my warm blanket.

I can't even believe he brought a girl home on the day of Christmas eve! And I thought he was tired at night?!

"Faster!" I hear her yell.

I rip the blanket off myself and the cool air hits my bare skin causing goosebumps,"I've fricken had enough." I stomp all the way out of my room and knock on Heath's fricken door. No one answers, but the noises stop. I knock again this time noticeably louder. After a couple of minutes, Heath opens the door. I was happy at the fact that he had the decency to slip on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt.

A surprised expression covering his face," Can you keep it down." I say in a demanding voice.

"Ah sorry." He scratches the back of his neck as his cheeks turn red. He should really get his neck checked. He always scratches it!

"Who is it baby?" I hear the girl's voice. Since there were no walls between her and I, the sound wasn't muffled; her voice sounded overly familiar to me.

"Ah.. no one!" Heath yells. I raise my eyebrows.

"Just keep it down." I was about to turn around when Kirsten walks up behind Heath with only a blanket wrapped around her.

A smirk covering her face as she sees me. I feel my heart drop to my stomach and my mind go blank. I haven't seen this girl since she got kicked off of the team.

Heath broke up with her because of me. For me. But now he's having sex with her? How much lower could he get?! "Pri-" before he could finish I cut him.

"No. It's you're life you do what you want. I'm nothing to you, so you don't have to explain shit to me." I try to push down any urge I had to rip Kirsten's smirk right off her fucking face by turning on my heels and walking into my room forcefully slamming the door shut behind me.

I cuddle back up into my bed. Well this was a nice start to the day...

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"UGHH! What?!" I groan furiously.

"Whow." The door clicks open," Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today." Jen stands next to my bed.

"What do you want Jen?" I ask irritated for no particular reason.

"Well it's almost time for the kids to wake up." She replies.

"Oh. I'll be down give me ten."

"Better be." Jen laughs exiting. I lazily get up and walk into the bathroom. Does she know who her brother was fucking? Does she even care? Do I care? Should I be caring?..

"Can we look now?" Joshua asks eagerly.

"Okay. Three. Two. One." We take our hands off their eyes.

"Wow!" All of them say in unison. "We're in North Pole!" All of them run down the stairs and start playing in the balloons. We all run down behind them.

"This is so cool!" Liam yells throwing a balloon towards me.

"Hey! Haha." I laugh.

"Balloon fight!" Heath announces mischievously. "Guys against girls!"

Jen and Skyler run towards me while Joshua and Liam run towards Heath. Within seconds balloons start flying all over the place and we start our balloon war.

I could hear Skyler shriek playfully and the guys laugh at her. I gasp," You do not hit girls!" I say throwing balloons at the two boys.

"Oh no! We're going to die..." They exaggerate and end it by sticking their tongue out at me. Man they're only like six years old...

"I can't believe a six year old has more sass than you." Jen laughs. I grab a balloon and whack her with it. She eventually sobers up.

"Okay let's do something else, because we all know the girls aren't capable of having a war without complaining, that the guys hit too hard." Heath states. Jen, Skyler, and I all glare at Heath. "Just stating the truth." He shrugs.

"Okay, whatever." Irritation visible in my tone," Let's go build gingerbread houses!" I announce.

"Yaaay!" They all yell in unison.

"Okay, run to the dining table we'll be right there." They do as they're told without question.

"Jen can I talk to Riley, alone?" Heath asks.

I answer before Jen can," No." I start walking past him towards the dining table, but he holds me back by grabbing my arm.

"Let go of me." I spit the words right in his face, anger rushing through my veins.

"At least listen to me." He begs.

"I said. Let.Go.Of.Me." My tone more demanding.

"Ah.. I'll be with the kids." Jen states before rushing off.

After that, Heath lets go of me and I stand there arms crossed over my chest. "I'm sorry." He says his head down the whole time.

"For what?" I scoff.

"For..." He lingers his words.

"Wow you don't even know what you're apologizing for." I let out a dry laugh," Listen to me and listen to me good, because I will not repeat myself yet once again after this." I get up close and personal," I don't care who you fuck or what you do, but if it effects me I will not think twice before interrupting. Though I'm really glad you had fun fucking the girl who got you benched for the season's first game. Also don't apologize to me, because of something you feel guilty about, what you did was never about me, because if it was you would've never done it." With that, I take a step to back away from him and turn around on my heels walking towards the kids.

He can't just come and apologize to me because I found out. What if I hadn't walked in on them, then he wouldn't even feel guilty. I shouldn't even care, but I do only because it was Kirsten out of every single girl in this world. Why?! He's a player no matter what he's been through and no one can change that part of him. No one.

It's eight now. The whole day was full of games, Christmas movies, and little devils running around.

Heath and I haven't talked since this morning, and I'm not planning on talking before midnight during gift exchange. Apparently, Jen hired someone to dress up as Santa to come and is going to hand out the presents that the elves, also known as Heath, made or in this case bought.

"When is Santa coming!" Joshua whines.

"At midnight." I say sweetly," Why don't you finish writing your thank you letter to Santa and after this we can watch Home Alone." Heath was helping Skyler write her letter while Jen was helping Liam.

Jen goes through her phone and a worried expression covers her face. "I'll be right back okay?" I ask Joshua and he nods. I walk over to Jen," What's wrong?" Jen looks at me and pulls me over to the side.

"Santa cancelled."

"Santa what?!" I yell in shock. Everyone turns their heads towards me and I give them an awkward smile," Sorry guys. Continue on." I smile. "Okay, why?!" I whisper yell this time.

"He said his nephew wants Santa at his birthday."

"God. Now what?"

"I don't know." Is all Jen has to say.

"Um we'll think of something, okay? Don't worry about it." I smile trying to calm her down. She nervously nods.

"Jennifer!" Liam calls Jen and Jen walks to him.

What to do? What to do?... I think to myself as I walk towards Josh to look at how far he's gotten.

Maybe we could find another Santa?! I think to myself.

*********

"I'm tired." Skyler states laying her head on my lap.

I run my hands through her hair to make her feel better," It's almost time. Santa's going to be here very soon. I hope." I whisper the last bit to myself.

After searching and calling about a hundred different people, all of the Santa's were booked for the night. Jen left twenty minutes ago saying she has a plan and hasn't returned. On the other hand Heath looks more calm then a leaf floating on water, I don't think Jen told him.

The front door opens revealing Jen carrying a black garbage bag in her hands. "Meet me upstairs." Jen says looking at me. Excitement traced her every word.

"Hey, Skyler play with the boys. I'll be right back." She yawns and slightly nods her head. I run up the stairs behind Jen into her room.

She puts the bag down on her bed and locks the door behind me. "Okay, before I tell you my idea I just want to remind you we are doing this for the kids." She states.

"Yeah..." I trail off thinking about what her idea could be.

"Well, all the Santa's were booked, but then I remembered anyone can become Santa. I mean with a white beard, red clothes, and a little stuffing in the belly. When Heath and I were little, I remember my dad used to dress like Santa and my mom would become his elf. So I ran out to the storage..." She opens the bag and dumps everything out," and found their costumes." She smiles.

"Wow." I say looking at the costumes.

"I know, right?"

"Yeah, but I still don't know where I come in, in all of this..."

"This is where you come in. IneedyoutoaskHeath."

"You what?!"

"IneedyoutoaskHeath." She sprints her words.

"Jen." I give her a 'stop testing my patience' look.

"Fine," she groans," I need you to ask Heath to do it."

"Why can't you ask?"

"Because he would never listen to me."

"And what makes you think he'll listen to me?"

"I was thinking... that you could guilt him into it." I raise my eyebrows," I mean I know there's something wrong between you two so maybe he could do this for your forgiveness?" I hate to admit it, but I think she's right. I might be able to guilt him to it, but do I want to forgive him? I mean what he did shouldn't even effect me. "Soooo?"

"Okay I'll talk to him."

"Yaay! Okay, I'll send him up, thank you!" She runs out before I can say another word.

Cold hearted bitch, Riley. Nothing more and nothing less. Heath walks in closing the door behind him," You wanted to talk to me?" He asks standing in front of me.

I clear my throat," You want my forgiveness right?" I ask like I'm not interested.

"I guess."

"Well if you want it. You'll have to dress like Santa for the kids."

"Okay."

"Okay?!" He nods. Wow. I thought it was going to take way more convincing than that.

"I'll be down in ten, the kids are getting sleepy."

"Okay..." I say walking towards the door. I run down the stairs to meet with three very sleepy kids.

"Is Santa here yet?!" They all ask in unison the minute I land on the floor.
