The chapter is dedicated to ! Go give her a follow, along with me! :)

•••••••••••

I woke up today achy and stiff. The things mother nature wants us to endure.

"Mm, good morning" Mason pulls me to his chest causing me to wince.

"What? What happened?" Mason furrows his eyebrows.

"I hurt" I sigh, rubbing my eyes.

"Let me try something, yeah?" He brushes through my hair.

"Let's go brush our teeth and do everything else. I'll go after you" Mason kisses my forehead, a sweet and meaningful gesture.

Once we're done I lay back in bed, my arm covering my eyes.

Moments later Mason is leaving soft kisses starting from my forehead.

"What are you doing?" I stutter, being caught by surprise.

"Helping you relax and feel better" He slowly makes his way down my body.

My heart catches in my throat when Masons' hands slip under my tank-top and his tongue swirls around my belly button, teasing me. "M-Mason. Stop" I whisper, causing him to smile up at me.

"As you wish" He removes his hands from where they were previously, causing a frown to form on my face.

"This fücking sucks" I sigh before pulling his face forcefully to mine, connecting our lips passionately. It takes him a couple of seconds to process what's happening before his arms wrap around my back.

"Look who's hørny today" He smirks, running his hands through his hair.

"Oh shut up, it's your fault" I sigh, shifting my position, uncomfortable.

"Do you feel better?" He gently rubs my abdomen.

"No. I feel worse" I sigh, grabbing the pillow to shove my face into it.

Mason chuckles, taking the pillow out of my hands. "I'm sorry. I wish I could help, my love" Mason continues rubbing my abdomen, the pain easing a bit.

"I hate this week" I pout. "Can you just kiss me?" I place his hands on my face.

Mason smiles, running his hand through my hair before gently connecting our lips. I kiss back immediately, deepening it. Masons' hands roam free, having no boundaries.

Mason and I have been hanging out in the living room. My room got really cold so we came out here to warm up and got comfortable. Bella joined us and Cody has been in and out.

Masons finger draws continuous circles on my bare thigh, keeping my mind occupied.

We're sitting on the love seat, myself sitting in between Mason's outstretched legs.

"I'm home" Andrew sings, walking into the apartment with food in his hands.

"You brought food?" I jump up, running over to him.

"It's good to see you too" He rolls his eyes, pushing the food towards me.

"Hi, Andrew. I love you" I hug him before grabbing out plates and setting the table.

"Hey Andrew" Mason smiles, his hand wrapping around my waist to hold me still.

"I want to eat Mas" I try to get out of his hold, Andrew's eyes furrowing.

"Is it?" Andrew points to me. "Yeah" Mason nods, causing Andrew to let out a chuckle.

"Free the beast" Andrew laughs when Mason lets go and I go burrowing to the table with the plates and silverware.

"Cody, food is here" Andrew calls as he at Mason joins me at the table with drinks.

I wait for Cody before I begin eating, I have some class.

We all talk while eating the wings and french fries.

"What are your plans for tomorrow?" Mason asks Cody and Andrew.

Tomorrow is the fourth of July. Tara and Jim had asked me earlier this week to join them for their annual barbecue. Everleigh is going to be there again.

"We were just going to chill here" Cody shrugs, looking at Andrew.

"You guys are more than welcome to join my family at my house. We have a barbecue every year" Mason fixes his hair.

"Oh, thank you. Maybe we'll stop by" Andrew smiles, thanking Mason.

The relationship Mason has developed with Cody and even Andrew is heartwarming. Cody was always like a brother to me ever since I started working. It's such a huge change from when I first told Mason about my plans of moving here. Andrew has also become like an older brother figure. They both always help me whenever I need it.

"We're going to head out. I'll see you later Le, Mason" Cody says when we finish eating.

"Okay, we're going to head out soon too" Mason smiles, slinging his arm around me.

"Have fun kids, don't do anything stupid" Andrew smiles as they walk out.

"What are we doing?" I ask, my eyebrows furrowed.

"Fourth of July party at Aidan's. Get dressed" He laughs at my confusion.

"Do I have to go?" I whine, not feeling the party mood.

"We won't stay long baby, I promise. Wear something somewhat fourth of July related. Comfortable and not too tight, please. I'll pick you up in an hour" He kisses my forehead.

I sigh, jumping in the shower and getting ready for the stupid party.

I get changed into a highrise jean shirt and a tight red top that crosses in the front. I throw on a pair of white wedges and do some makeup. My makeup consists of a natural-looking smokey eye with a small wing. I put on some red lipstick that isn't overbearing. I tie half of my hair back and curl it into loose waves.

By the time I'm done, Mason is knocking at the door.

I quickly run to it, letting him in and finish packing my purse full of supplies and other necessities.

"Okay, I'm ready" I walk up to him, looking him up and down.

He has a red button-down shirt on with some blue jeans. He has a white baseball hat and his white basketball sneakers. He looks really good.

"You look really good" I smile, closing the door behind us.

"Thank you, like the hat? I told you not to wear anything tight, babe" He frowns.

"I do. You know I'm a sucker for backward hats. I'm fine, I took Midol before we left" I intertwine our hands, smiling at the reason behind his words.

"Okay fine. You look beautiful Le" He opens the door for me, smiling.

"Thank you, Mas" I blush a little as Mason pulls out of the parking spot.

A few minutes pass and we're in front of Aiden's house.

Mason locks the car and shoves his keys in his pocket. "I can drive tonight if needed" I smile at him.

"We'll see what happens babe" He brings our intertwined hands up to leave a kiss on my hand.

"Look who's finally here" Tim shouts as soon as Mason and I walk into the house.

"Leah, my gosh it's been so long" Dani hugs me, trying to pull me away from Mason.

I can see the hesitation in his eyes. "I'll be okay. I'll find you in an hour or so" I quickly kiss him and go off with the girls in the crowd of people.

"Coke?" Christine asks, holding one out for me. "Thank you" I nod, taking it from her.

"This outfit is so cute. I love the heels" Ellie smiles, taking my hand in hers and motioning everyone to the dance floor.

I always thought it was funny how in house parties there is a designated dance 'floor'. Like, its the only place people are dancing.

"Thanks, Elles" I smile as her hair whips people in the face, causing them to look at her.

"Dance with me" She whines, swinging her hips.

"What about your boyfriend?" I laugh as a scowl crosses her face. "Leah"

"Okay, okay fine" I laugh, slowly dancing along to the song. Not even ten minutes later we're dancing and singing as if nothing else matters.

"Easy there, tiger" Mason laughs, a red cup in his hand.

"Hey Mas" I laugh, hugging him.

"Hey Le, how you doing? Having fun?" He smiles, taking a sip.

"Yeah, I am" I smile, trying to ignore the weird feeling I suddenly got.

Mason must have felt it too because his head snapped up and he glanced around the room.

"Come on" Mason wraps his arm around my waist and whispers something to Brooks before leading us to a less populated area.

"Mason? What's wrong?" I ask, looking up at him.

"Let's just chill out here for a bit" He picks me up and places me on the railing before standing in between my legs.

"Yo Mas, here" Aiden tosses Mason some sort of key.

"Thanks, man. I owe you" Mason nods, putting it in his pocket and lifting me down.

"No, you don't. I don't even know why he's here. We got it though. Brooks is watching him right now" Aiden walks back into the house.

"Mason, what is going on? I want to go have fun" I stop him from walking.

"I'll explain in a minute, come on. Please Le" He looks down at me.

"Okay, yeah" I nod, following him upstairs. He uses the key to unlock a door, Aidens bedroom.

"Come on" He ushers me in and locks the door behind us. I hear a knock on it and jump.

"Probably just two drunk kids looking for a place to fück" Mason laughs, opening the window and climbing onto the roof.

"Here, sit" He opens his legs.

I climb after him and sit in between his legs, leaning into his chest.

"What's going on?" I ask as Mason rubs my arms, comfortingly.

"Derek's here" Mason answers, coldly.

"What?" Chills rack my body and I can feel Mason tense behind me.

"He wouldn't get to you even if we stayed out there, but I wanted you to be comfortable. The guys are taking care of it, okay? You have nothing to worry about" He eases my nerves, but not fully.

"What about the girls? And everyone else here?" I stand up crawling out the window.

"Leah, wait. They're fine. He was watching you. You can't go out there" He calls as I rush out the door searching for Dani, Christine, or Ellie.

"Fück" Mason yells, chasing after me as I push through people.

A hand grabs my arms and I immediately shrug it off, trying to move past everyone. I stop dead in my tracks when I see who's straight ahead. His eyes trained right on me like he knows my next move.

I quickly turn and push into the crowd of people. If there's one thing I've learned it's to stay in a crowd of people at this time. I feel him following me and rush around the heard desperately searching to make sure the girls are okay.

"Leah, what the fück are you doing? Where's Mason" Aiden grabs my arm, pulling me towards him.

"I need to find the girls. Where are they?" I look behind me to see Tim and Brooks talking to Derek, angry looks on their face and a look of amusement on Dereks.

"They're fine. I gave them the key to my parent's room. Richie is with them. Where is Mason?" Aiden asks, seriously.

"He was right behind me. I had to find the girls so I left him" I sigh, feeling guilty.

"Okay, here. Stay with Fred. I'm going to kick Derek out" He points me to a guy I'm assuming is Fred.

"Leah, what the fück?" Mason seethes his chest heaving up and down.

"Mason, I'm sorry. I had to find the girls. I was so worried" My eyes pool with tears, my hormones getting the best of me.

"Do you think I would just leave them? My sister is one of them, babe. Come on, I'd like to think I take care of everyone" He sighs, not wanting to upset me.

"I know, I just needed to make sure they were okay. No one deserves to be assaulted like that" I try and blink the tears away.

"Of course not Le. But that was stupid of you. Please don't ever do that again" He pulls me into a hug.

"I'm sorry" I sniffle.

"Please don't cry, baby. I'm sorry" Guilt paints his face.

"It's the hormones and guilt" I laugh, wiping the tears off my face.

"Do you want to go home?" He asks.

"No, I want to have a good night" I clear my throat.

"Okay then. I think I need a drink" Mason laughs taking my hand and leading me to the kitchen.

I get out a beer for him and a water for me.

"Oh, I can just have a soda" He goes to put it back.

"Enjoy yourself, Mas. You can have one beer. You deserve it" I smile, kissing his cheek.

"It's okay Le" He smiles, picking up a Coke.

"Suite yourself. Just know I won't be mad. I'll drive home. Can we go dance?" I smile, taking his hand.

"Dance with the girls, I'm going to drink this with the guys" He walks me over to the girls and kisses my forehead, taking my water.

"Let's have some fun, I fücking need it" I laugh, dancing with the girls.

The rest of the night goes on as imagined. Lots of dancing, talking, and inappropriate comments from Mason.

"Hand over the keys, Mr. White" I laugh, holding my hand out.

"I can drive. I had one beer and it was hours ago" Mason smiles.

"I don't want to take any chances, Mas. Please?" I get the chills.

"Fine, here" Mason rests a jacket that was in the back of his car on my shoulder.

"Thanks" I smile, starting the car and driving towards Mason's house.

"You're spending the night?" Mason asks, messing with his shirt.

"No, I need to take care of Bella" I glance over at him to see a look of confusion.

"How are you going to get home if you won't let me drive?" Mason asks.

"It's a short walk" I laugh, knowing it would take me a half-hour, tops to get home on foot.

"Le, are you crazy? No way in hęll. Just let me drive you home. Or stay the night" He looks at me, wide-eyed.

"It's not a big deal, hun. I'll be okay" I smile.

"Not a big deal? Leah, it's not going to happen. You could get raped, or killed, or hurt. I'm not allowing it" Mason says, sternly as we walk up to his house.

"Why would you think that?" I stop in my tracks, not even wanting to know if it's because of what I'm wearing.

He's not like that, I know he's not.

"Because there are stupid and disgusting people out there. Heartless people who will take any opportunity they can get. You're stunning Le, absolutely anyone would want you. There is no way you're going to walk home. Either you find a ride or you're staying here. I'm not going to put you in danger. My job is to protect and keep you safe" He pushes the hair out of my face. "And no, not because of your outfit. I'm not a piece of shįt"

"I'm sorry. I'll text Cody to see if he can pick me up. I love you" I hug him.

"Thank you, baby, I love you too" He hugs me back, kissing the top of my head.

"Let's go inside" He leads me into the house.

"Hey, Brooks" I smile at him, grabbing water from the fridge.

A horrible feeling rises in my throat and I'm making a bee-line for the bathroom.

"You have got to be kidding me" I sigh after flushing the toilet.

"What just happened?" Brooks looks at me, confused.

"I just threw up" I laugh as Mason walks back into the room.

"You drank tonight?" He looks at me, confused.

"Nope, definitely not" I laugh, sitting at the barstool.

"What happened?" Mason takes a sip of my water.

"I wouldn't drink that. Your girl just hurled in your bathroom" Brooks laughs.

"You what? When?" Mason puts the bottle down, worry all over his face.

"I'm fine. Just a couple seconds ago, literally" I laugh.

"Are you guys-" Brooks starts before quickly stopping.

"Are we what?" Mason asks, rubbing my back.

"Like, expecting?" He draws out.

"Are you asking if I'm pregnant?" I smile, amused.

Brooks nods, a laugh escaping Mason's lips.

"No, definitely not" I laugh.

"Have you taken a test? Maybe you should" Brooks stares at us.

"Brooks, she's not pregnant" Mason clarifies.

"You can never be sure" He defends himself.

"I'm pretty positive I'm not. I mean, I have my period. Like, right now" I hold in my laugh.

"Oh, okay. TMI" he laughs an uncomfortable laugh.

"You asked for it, man" Mason laughs.

"O-okay. I'm heading out, you need a ride, Le?" Brooks asks.

"Yes, I do actually. That would be great" I smile, hugging Mas.

"Okie, dokie. I'll go start the car" He heads out.

"Bye Mas, I'll see you tomorrow" I kiss his cheek and head outside.

Hi angels, I hope you're staying safe and healthy. So many votes on that last chapter! I try and help y'all out by making the comments higher since its easier to reach the goal that way but I'll try and reverse it this time. This was a bit of a filler with a little drama. This chapter was also a bit rushed. I'm sorry for the choppiness. I hope y'all enjoyed it and make sure to leave your thoughts! Thank you for everything. Don't forget to vote, comment, and share!
