《He Saved Me》Chapter fourty four

I cant believe he said that. Who in their right mind would say that? Its utterly disgusting.
He needs to learn a lesson. Not to talk to my girl, especially not like that.
He should not talk to anyone like that.
My nostrils flare as my fist comes in contact with the punching bag.
"Fücking dįck" I curse, trying to blow off some steam.
"No way, Mason White. It's been a while" A voice says behind me.
"What do you want Drew?" I growl, not in the mood to talk to anyone.
"Someones angry" He chuckles, crossing his arms.
"Do you need something? I'm a little busy" I roll my eyes, punching the bag harder.
"Fight me" He shrugs.
"No" I answer simply. I need to save my energy for later.
"Why not? Stop being a püssy. The Mason I knew was never scared" He irks me.
"Shut your fücking mouth Drew. I'm fighting someone later. I don't want to waste my energy on you" I sneer.
Drew, my old fighting buddy. I used to take my anger out on him before I got introduced to alcohol. Then he started getting annoying and I would fight him to shut him up.
I haven't been to this gym since I met Leah. She's changed me for the better.
I want to be good for her. I want a future in football even more. Just thinking of her watching me play while her and our kids are cheering me on makes my heart melt.
Fück, I love her.
For a moment I forget what I was angry at. Patrick.
"Want to tell me what the girl did then?" He asks.
"She didn't do anything. Wait, how do you know-Why am I talking to you?" I roll my eyes, taking my gloves off.
"Face it Mason, you need someone to talk to. Who better than me?" He smiles.
"Bye Drew" I storm pass him, taking a sip of my water.
'Hey Aiden, make sure Leah doesn't find out about tonight. I'm tired of that ässhole'
'I got your back. Someones gotta put an end to it. She's worried though, absolutely freaking out. I don't know what to do-A'
'Tell her I'm home, I just needed to let off some steam. I'll text her in a little'
I sigh, driving out of the parking lot and into the driveway of my now empty home.
It didn't start to feel like home until recently.
At 4 I'm meeting Patrick at the gym. They don't give a shįt there.
I need to leave around 2:30 so that I don't see Leah before it. I don't need her following me or finding out about it all.
I change into a lose tank top and basketball shorts. I grab some water, tape, bags and other helpful things and stuff them into a duffel bag.
I leave a quick kiss on the top of Bella's head and get out of the house. I don't want to be seen.
Patrick should be here any minute.
Aiden is here and Brooks texted me. He wanted to come but he took Leah and Ellie out to eat. She's freaking out.
He walks in, looking like a complete dįck.
"You sure you want to do this? It might taint your reputation Mr. Golden boy. You can kiss that football scholarship goodbye" He smirks.
"Why? You scared? Are you scared that I'm going to beat the shįt out of you? Are you really that much of a püssy that you would go tattle on me. We're in the gym, its a fair fight" I roll my shoulders.

"I'm not scared of shįt, never mind you" He rolls his eyes.
"So, you're going to spread the word that you got knocked out in one punch?" I smirk.
"If its a fair fight, its a fair fight. I won't say a word to coach or anyone. Give me the girl though" He chuckles.
"You're fücking sick" I yell at him.
"Why are you so whipped over her Mason? She's a fucking girl. Do you remember how many you used to go through? We were such great friends man, she ruined it all. Just get rid of her" He groans.
"You wouldn't understand" I seethe.
"Lets just get this started" I close my eyes, taking a deep breath.
Drew walks over to us and right away I lay and punch to his gut.
He groans, throwing a quick punch to my face. I quickly dodge it, punching him in the gut again and kicking his legs out from under him.
He quickly gets up, punching my cheek lightly.
I laugh, "Thats the best you can do?" I shake my head, punching his cheek with twice as much force.
He makes a hissing sound before his fist collides with my gut, causing me to double over.
That one hurt a little.
I throw a few quick punches at him, wanting to be done with this already.
I just want to hurt him enough for him to get the message that Leah is mine. He can't get away with harassing her or any one else for that matter. The fact he finds enjoyment in that is nauseating.
He punches me in the eyes, noticing my lack of concentration.
"Son of a bįtch" I groan, connecting my fist to his jaw.
"Asshøle" He grabs his jaw.
I quickly punch him in the gut and then the nose, hoping to end this.
"Time" His friend calls.
"Drew, is that allowed?" I turn to him.
"Yeah, I guess. I don't really give a shįt, lets just wrap this up" He rolls his eyes.
"Thats gonna leave a mark" Aiden looks at my eye.
"Do you think shes gonna kill me?" I take a sip of my water, catching my breath.
"Definitely. But you're doing the right thing Mas" He pats my back.
"I know, I don't give a shįt" I shrug, handing him my water.
"Lets finish this" Patrick says.
"I'll make a deal with you. You can agree to never speak to Leah again, or I'll continue to bash your face in" I cross my arms.
"You think I can just walk away from that? I see you still never forgot what I said. The nerds are always the easy ones" He smirks.
Patrick backs up a little, realizing he struck a nerve.
"You? You're fücking dead" I growl, attacking him with punches.
A few punches in and his nose is bleeding, theres a cut on his lip and bruises are starting to form all over his body.
"Mason, you're going to kill him" Aiden and Drew rip me off him.
"Thats what I was trying to do" I rip myself from their grasp.
"White, get your shįt together. He's not worth it man. Go home to your girl. You made your point. Now stop" Drew stands in front of my, gripping my shirt in his fist.
"Fine" I get myself out of his grasp and grab my bag, storming out of the gym.
"Mason, wait up" Aiden calls, jogging after me.

"What?" I huff.
"Listen man, I didn't do anything. I stopped you from doing something you and anyone with a conscience and heart would regret. You aren't this person Mason" Aiden says, harshly.
"I know, I do. I don't know what got into me" I sit on the curb, running a hand down my face.
"My parents are going to kill me" I groan, fishing my hand in my pocket for my phone.
Brooks name flashes across the screen.
"Dude, she is freaking out" He sighs. IN the background I can hear my sister trying to talk to Leah.
"Put her on the phone" I shake my hand.
"Mason?" She says into the phone.
"Hey" I answer, ripping the tape off my hands.
"What happened? Where are you? Are you okay? Did you hurt anyone? Are you hurt? Why-" She rambles.
"Shhh, don't worry about me. I'll meet you at your place. Okay? I'm sorry for worrying you" I say into the phone.
"Okay, I'm on my way now" She rushes. "Brooks, your phone" She says and I hear a door close in the background.
"Shes gonna kill me" I lean my head back.
"Yup, she is" Ellie says. "What the fück Mason?" She yells at me.
"I don't regret it Elle" I get into my car, saying goodbye to Aiden.
"You should. My gosh, I'll drop clothes and your stuff off at Leah's. Don't come home. Mom and dad will murder you" She says, annoyed.
"I have some clothes in my car. I'll be fine. I'll talk to you later" I hang up, driving to Leah's apartment.
I get to her apartment and take a deep breath before opening it.
My mind is whirling with possibilities and outcomes of this. Is she going to hate me? She's going to be so mad. What if she breaks up with me?
My thoughts are cut short by a voice "The fück happen to you?" Andrew says, observing my face.
"Nothing" I mumble, following him into the apartment.
"Hey babe" Cody walks out, his eyes bulging.
"What did you do this time, Mason?" He sighs, hugging his boyfriend.
"Wheres Leah?" I ask, my palms starting to sweat.
"In her room. She's like all over the place" He shakes his head.
"Wish me luck" I thank him, slowly turning the nob.
"Please, please tell me you didn't fight him" She says, not facing me.
I don't answer or say anything and a sigh is heard from her.
"Do I even want to turn around?" She asks.
"Probably not" I squeeze the bridge of my nose.
She takes a deep breath and then slowly turns around.
She looks me up and down, eyes getting glossy.
"Why did you do it? What did you get out of it? Please, help me understand" She says, sitting on the edge of her bed.
"It was impulse. I think he got my message. He can't bother you Leah. I wont have it" I explain.
She goes into the bathroom, and comes back with a wet rag.
"Do you know how worried I was? Mason, do you see me? Can you see me right now? You know, this is exactly what I didn't want to happen. I don't care, I really don't anymore. We won't see him ever again in two months. In two months, he'll be gone. High school will be over and so will one of the best and worst time of my life. Why, why did you waste your time on this? Why did you cause yourself pain? It wasn't worth it" She gently cleans the blood off my face.
I take in her disheveled appearance.
Wow, I'm a dįck.
I've been freaking out while Mason was probably beating the shįt out of Patrick.
For hours, Ellie and Brooks have been trying to distract me.
His face is all cracked and bloody. A big, purple bruise forming around his eye. I can only imagine whats hidden behind that shirt. Besides his abs, of course. The thought of him going through this for me could bring a smile on my face.
I can see the regret on his face.
"Leah, I feel terrible. I do. But, if he doesn't bother you anymore, it was worth it" He takes the paper towel from my hand.
"How bad?" I ask, not wanting to know the answer.
"It was pretty bad" He sighs.
"Please don't hate me" He whispers.
"Mason, sit down" I instruct him.
He listens, and sits down, careful not to sit on Bella.
"I don't hate you. I never could. Now, disappointed? Yes, I am. But only because I specifically told you not to" I brush my thumb along his cheek.
"I'm sorry" He frowns.
"I'll turn the shower on for you. You should take a quick one. Are you staying here?" I stand up.
"If thats okay. I'm a little more nervous to go home then I was to come here" He picks the rest of the tape off his hand.
"You were nervous to come here? How come?" I ask after I turn the shower on and get his sweatpants out for him.
"Honestly, I knew I screwed up and I was scared you were gonna break up with me" He stands up.
"I would never" I brush the hair out of his eyes.
"You saved me Mas" I whisper, kissing his cheek.
"You saved me from my parents, you saved me from everyone at school, you saved me from the emptiness threatening to absorb me. But most importantly, you saved me from myself. I can never thank you enough for that" I hug him closer to me.
"You make me so happy Leah" He whispers, taking the pants from my hands.
I walk over to my dresser, picking out my clothes for tomorrow and hanging them on my door for easy access.
A couple minutes later, Mason walks in, his dirty clothes in hand and bare chest exposed.
"I have some clothes for the morning in my bag" He says, placing his dirty clothes in the bag.
"Okay" I say eyeing the big bruise on his stomach.
"You should see the other guy" He jokes, noticing my stare.
I smile, sitting on the bed.
"Come here" He holds his arms out, now laying down.
I lay in his arms, listening to the sound of his heartbeat before escaping my thoughts and being met with peaceful sleep.

Choosing His Luna (bxb)
This is a story I have published on Inkitt and I thought I'd post it on here too since I've started to update it again. 😅 I hope to continue to do so although the updates will probably be only once or twice a month. The chapters are a little shorter than what I normally post on Wattpad but I hope you enjoy them all the same.‐-----------------------------The fateful day had finally arrived, the one which I had been preparing for since birth, one which my parents had been preparing for since I'd been conceived. Well, that wasn't exactly true, my parents had been preparing, and I on the other hand had been mostly unwilling with the whole affair. See I was a werewolf, my whole family was, or pack if you will. It was tradition for all those of marriageable age to gather on the strongest werewolf pack in the world, to try and impress the next Alpha to be, the most powerful werewolf in the world. It was a major honour to be chosen by the Alpha, for the individual and their whole pack. So here I was, packing a bag for the journey and time I would be spending at the strongest pack in the world, which was called the Stentorian Pack and was located deep in the mountains surrounded by forest. My parents thought I had a chance, they'd told me what to eat, how to act, and how to look all my life, needless to say, it had gotten old pretty quick. All the lack of control I'd had over my life had boiled down to this day, it had all been for this day. I had to be the most attractive, smartest, and likeable... you get the idea, and I couldn't help but feel inadequate.
