《He Saved Me》Chapter thirty six

Luckily, we are in Express where they have leather jackets.
"Go in the dressing room, I'll come to you after" I smile, shooing him.
I run to find Ellie, telling her my idea. "I absolutely love that. You go too Brooks" She says and we search for clothes.
I grab a black leather jacket and some black ripped jeans. A white t-shirt even though he can wear the black one he has on already. I would love to see it with white too.
Grabbing a belt off the rack, Ellie and I make our way into the dressing room to see Mason and Brooks leaning against the wall, conversing.
"Promise me you'll have an open mind?" I hold my pinky out to him. "Fine" He smiles, interlocking our fingers.
"Thank you" I kiss his cheek, handing him the clothes. He goes into the dressing room next to Brooks.
"Leah" He whines. I just ignore it.
Soon he comes out, the clothes fit him perfectly. And he looks amazing.
"What do you think?" I look him up and down.
"Its different. Not as uncomfortable as I thought" He stretches his arms.
"I absolutely love it" Ellie smiles, as Brooks comes out.
"What about you?" He leans agains the wall, arms crossed. "I think you look really good" I bite my cheek, nodding.
"Now do you?" He questions, staring into my eyes.
"Yes. I do" I cock my head to the side.
"Maybe I'll get it then" He says, pulling on the jacket. "I think thats a good idea" I smile as he closes the door to change back.
"Now, its our turn" Brooks smirks at Ellie, our eyes bulged.
"I'm not so sure about that" I stutter. "Yeah, you are hörny guys" Ellie helps me out.
"Oh shush, we'll be back" Mason smiles, walking out of the fitting room.
Well shįt.
They soon come back and Mason hands me an outfit. Of course it's skimpy and I feel uncomfortable putting it on.
The plaid skirt is way to short and the white crop top is surprisingly comfortable and cute. "Mason, there is no way you got the right size for this skirt. Get me the next size up" I whine, causing him to huff. I look in the mirror, I look like a total slût.
"Here" He hands me the skirt over the door. I put it on, feeling slightly more covered.
"Now let me see. But let me in" He says. I slowly open the door a crack, covering myself.
"This isn't cute. Why in the world would anyone like this?" I say, my cheeks flushing. He moves my arms, looking me up and down.
"Mm, no it is. But I would not want you to wear that out anywhere" He smirks. "What is up with your smirking?" I ask, crossing my arms.
"I don't know what you're talking about" He jokes. "Now get changed into the real outfit" He points to another pile of clothes.
"I didn't know there was a second" I laugh. "Yep, now go" He smiles, stepping out of the room.
In the second pile there is a baggy, but cropped NASA shirt, some ripped light washed high waisted jeans and some platform high heeled boots. Its actually really cute.
I put it on, quickly styling it the way I like it and step out.
I do a little spin, really liking the outfit. "Oh, I love that" Ellie smiles.

"So do I. I think I'll get it. What do you think Mas?" I question.
"I think you look great" He smiles, adoration in his eyes. "Thank you" I leave a quick kiss on his cheek, getting changed.
Once I'm back in Masons warm hoodie we pay for our clothes and leave the store.
"Did I do good?" He questions, intertwining our hands.
"You did, I really like the outfit a lot actually" I smile, causing him to smile.
I pick the fabric up, taking a deep breath as we walk. Mason looks over, catching me. Blush spreads on my face as a smile does on his.
"So I take it that you like my cologne?" He smiles, his arm now around my waist.
"I'm not sure yet" I shrug, teasing him. He chuckles and we finish our way to the car.
I lean my head against the car window, wanting to take a nap. "Here" Mason pats his lap. I lay my head on his lap and he gently plays with my hair.
"Its late so maybe we'll just get like AppleBees or something?" Mason suggests, knowing how tired I am.
"Yeah, sure. Take out or sit down?" Ellie asks, turning to see Leah passed out. "We'll go with takeout" She opens her phone placing the order. I got Leah those wings she always gets.
When the food is ready Ellie runs in, getting it. I debate on what I'm going to do when we get back to the house. She looks so peaceful like this.
I'll put her food in the microwave to keep it warm and carry her upstairs. She's so beautiful.
On the ride home I cant help but look at her, the silky feeling of her hair flowing through my fingers distracting me from everything else. The natural curls that are reappearing. Her porcelain like skin that is now clear of cuts and bruises. The thought of all the scars that litter her body make me sick to my stomach. Her cheeks have the perfect amount of pink in them. Her usually blue eyes are covered by her long, dark eyelashes. They hold so much emotion. Pain, sadness, happiness, endearment, curiosity.
"I'm not giving up on you" I whisper, kissing her cheek.
I gently lift her up, careful not to wake her and ask Ellie to put the wings in the microwave while I bring Leah upstairs.
"Is she okay?" Moms eyes widen, seeing Leah's almost lifeless body.
"Yeah, she's sleeping" I smile, walking over to the stairs.
When I get to my room I place her on the bed, covering her with the comforter.
Leaving a quick kiss on her forehead I go downstairs to eat my burger.
"You two have any plans tomorrow?" Ellie asks me, taking a bite of her mac and cheese.
"I think we might pack a little if we don't finish tonight. Probably just lounge around" I answer, confusion spreading across Ellie's face.
"Packing for what?"
Shįt.
"Um, it's not really my place to tell" I say scratching my neck.
"Don't be silly Mas. I'm your twin. Now spill or I'm waking her up right now" Ellie crosses her arms, leaning against the table.
"Alright fine, she found an apartment that she's moving into" I say, a little upset about it.
"Oh my gosh. Thats great. Aw, I'm so happy for her" Ellie smiles.
"Yeah, she's sharing with a coworker. He offered her a room since he was looking to rent anyways. They are really close. He's a nice guy and I trust that he won't do anything and that he'll protect her when I cant" I say, eating a fry.

"And you're okay with that?" Brooks says, skeptically.
"Yep, he's gay" I say simply, causing Ellie to laugh.
"Mason, did Leah tell you that?" She says.
"No, he told me himself. He's talking to someone. His names Andrew"
Cody noticed my uneasiness so as soon as Leah got away he told me. She doesn't know yet but he wants to tell her when it's official.
"Gotcha. Well then thats good" Brooks says, drinking from his bottle.
I nod, finishing my burger and throwing my plate away. "See ya guys" I wave, jogging up the stairs.
Leah is still sound asleep, might as well work out a little. I quickly change into some basketball shorts and take my shirt off.
Gripping the weight in my hand I do some core, arm and leg exercises.
I woke up to low music playing. Mason must be working out or cleaning.
Cleaning? Yeah right, he's working out.
My eyes nearly pop out of my head when I see Mason shirtless (of course) and lifting weights over his head. Sweat is covering his body. "Well hello there" I chuckle, getting out of bed.
"Hey, how did you sleep? Dinners downstairs in the microwave. Not sure how hot it is though" He holds his arms out for a hug, his chest heaving up and down at a rapid pace.
"Hm, sorry Mas. You're all sweaty. I'll hug you after your shower. I slept good. Thank you, I'll go grab it and come back up" I smile.
I quickly heat up the wings, grabbing some ranch dressing and water. I don't remember seeing a drink for Mason upstairs so I grab a red gatorade for him.
"I'm back and I brought you gatorade" I smile, walking back into him room. He's still lifting the weights over his head.
"Thanks, I'm almost done" He smiles.
"I can't wait until this stupid thing comes off. I want to try boxing" I smile, sitting against the bed.
"Hm, having a girlfriend who boxes? I like the sound of that" He says, wiping his forehead on his arm.
I roll my eyes, eating some of my food. "Come over here and give me a hug" He smirks walking over to me.
"Mason I still don't know your middle name, White, I swear to God I will-" I say causing him to laugh.
"You're so cute" He grabs his clothes and walks to the shower.
"Guys" I knock on Ellie's door. I hear a groan and then Ellie's door flies open.
"What do you want?" Ellie frowns. "I've come to hang out. Masons in the shower so I'm bored" I smile sitting on her chair.
The amused smile on Brooks face is pissing Ellie off and its evident that they were messing around a bit.
Oh well.
"Any plans for tomorrow?" I smile, a scowl on Ellie's face.
"Oh cheer up Elle. No, not as of now. Maybe I'll throw a party" Brooks ruffles his hair, trying to fix it.
"Oh, I like that idea. I could get out of the house. We don't have school Monday right?" Ellie sits on the bed.
"Nope, we have a day off. But thats a good idea. Have fun" I smile, hoping they don't want me there.
"You should come Le. It would be fun. You know Mason wouldn't let you out of sight" Ellie chuckles as a knock sounds on the door.
"Come in" I call out, Mason walks in with some shorts and a t-shirt on, his hair still wet and messy.
"Fix your hair" I whine causing him to laugh and fix it.
"Come on" He nods to the door.
"Mas, I'm gonna throw a party tomorrow. You two should come" Mason nods, taking my hand into his.
"So, do you want to go tomorrow?" He asks, scratching his neck.
"Not really, but I will. I'll just always stay with someone" I smile, nervously.
"I'll take care of you" He hugs me, pulling my arm so I'm standing in between his legs.
"I know you will" I kiss him on the cheek. "But I'm bored" I laugh sitting next to him.
"So am I. Do you want to do something?" He asks. "Lets invite Dani and Tim over?" I suggest.
"Sure" He gets his phone out, calling Tim.
"Hey man" "Yeah, do you want to come over?" "Leah's idea, she's bored" "Yeah of course" "Okay, see you then" He ends the call.
"They're coming" He throws his phone on the floor.
"Great" I smile, leaning my back against Masons chest.
"What do you want to do?" He asks, wrapping his arms around my shoulders.
"Why don't we take this stupid boot off" I smile, a frown crossing Masons face at the suggestion.
"Fine, we should bake a cake" I say.
"Maybe" He chuckles.
"What?" I question as he moves me from in front of him.
"They're almost here" He mumbles, placing a kiss on my lips.
"I'll go get them" I stand up, getting to the door right on time.
"Hey guys. Come in" I smile, opening the door.
"Hey" Daniella hugs me. I hug Tim quickly, leading them to Masons room.
"Hey guys" Mason hugs Dani and shakes Tim's hand.
Daniella and I mimic them, causing Tim to chuckle.
"So what are we doing now?" Daniella asks sitting on the floor next to me while Mason and Tim have the bed.
"I was thinking maybe we can bake a cake?" I question. "Oh my gosh yes. Lets go" Daniella's face lights up as she drags me down the stairs.
"You're a big baker?" I question, getting the bowls and ingredients out.
"I love baking. Tim hates it until the treats are in front of him" She giggles.
"Sounds a lot like someone I know" I laugh as we make the cake.
Soon enough the cake is done and all decorated. It turned at amazing.
The boys ate half of it while Dani and I both had a little sliver.
The night goes on with a lot of jokes, laughing and talking.
They leave around 1 and by the time they are out the door I'm passed out on the couch.
