It's Christmas time, which means it's the most wonderful time of the year.

At least for most people.

For me, Christmas is just like any ordinary day. But this year might just be a little different.

My mother and father just left for the airport yesterday and I'm spending some time with the White's while they are gone.

I went Christmas shopping and got Mason a signed football from his favorite team and a watch. I got Ellie an eyeshadow palette, some makeup brushes and a couple bath bombs. I got Tara a cute knitted blanket and made her some chocolate covered strawberries and pineapples. For Jim I got him a baseball hat and a t-shirt.

I've been working a lot the last few weeks and Sydney has been paying me extra since she knows how tight I am with money. Plus I am her best worker. I've also been looking into getting a second job.

'Mason: You can come anytime. And you're staying for Christmas;)'

I smile at the text and continue packing my travel bag with some clothes, even though Ellie's going to make me wear something of hers.

Soon I am all packed and walking out of my door with a smile on my face and gifts in my hand.

"I'm home" I say walking in to be greeted by a happy Bella and a sleeping Ellie.

"Masons at practice and will be home in an hour or so. He told me you can hang out in his room. I'm going back to bed" Ellie says causing me to laugh and make my way upstairs while Bella follows behind.

The hour goes by fast with the help of Bella.

"Hello sunshine" Mason says walking into his room all sweaty and smiley.

"Ew, you smell" I joke, smiling at him.

"I just had practice. What do you expect" He says laughing and tossing his duffel bag to the side.

"I was kidding Mas" I say throwing Bella's toy again and sitting up.

"Are you excited for tomorrow?" Mason says, stripping of his shirt.

"I'm excited to be here and away from my parents" I say grabbing the toy out of Bella's mouth again.

"I've always loved Christmas as a kid but as I grew up it became like every other day" I explain throwing the toy again for Bella to chase after it.

"Well, then I'm glad you get to spend it with people who care about you. You get to experience Christmas, White style" He says winking and turning on the shower.

I smile at him and he excuses himself to take a quick shower.

"Leah sweetie, I didn't know you were here yet. How are you?" She says hugging me.

"I'm good Tara, thank you. I have something in the fridge in a plastic bag. Don't touch or open it please" I smile and she nods.

"This boy sweats like a pig" She laughs, taking the clothes out of Masons bag and holding them far away from her body.

"You got a good one Tara. Even if he sweats like a pig" I say, laughing and she nods.

"Yeah, I did" She smiles and walks out of the room.

I flop back down and cover my head with Masons pillow, not knowing what to do with myself.

I woke up in someones embrace. Mason.

I carefully untangle myself and sprint to the bathroom.

It's christmas.

"Good morning Angel. How did you sleep?" Tara says as I walk into the kitchen, yawning.

"I slept good, how about you?" I say as Tara places a pancake on a plate and hands it to me.

"I slept great. Are you excited?" She says and I shrug.

"I'm excited to spend Christmas with you guys" I say taking a bite out of my pancake.

"Good morning" Ellie and Mason say making their way downstairs with Jim following behind.

"Everyones up. Good, now eat" Tara says handing them all plates and Mason frowns.

"What about presents?"

"They aren't going anywhere" Tara scowls and points at his pancakes.

Mason mumbles a couple profanities under his breath causing me to hold in my laugh.

Everyone scarfs down their food and Mason runs into the family room, taking a seat next to the tree.

The White's family room is a huge elegant room. It has white couches and and beautiful fireplace. It is decorated perfectly for christmas with one fake tree by the wall of windows and one real tree on the opposite side. There lay the presents.

I make my way to the armchair, close to the tree but not right next to it and smile at Masons ecstatic face.

He soon digs into the presents and everyone looks at me.

"What?" I say confused.

"You got stuff too Leah" Jim says and I look at them shocked.

"What?" I say baffled.

"We got you some presents Leah" Tara explains picking up one to show me.

"Oh my god, guys. You didn't have to" I say a few tears falling out of my eyes.

"We wanted to. Now go, open them" Tara says and I nod, sitting next to Mason.

The gifts are beautiful. They got me some new eyeliner, lipstick, mascara, some scrunchies, a rose gold watch, a pair of jeans and a couple shirts, a jean skirt and some makeup brushes.

"Thank you guys so much. You don't understand how much this means to me" I say hugging all the Whites, holding back my tears.

"I'll be right back" I say running out of the house grabbing their gifts.

I hand Jim his gifts and he loved them. "Thank you Leah, you didn't have to get me anything, but I love it" He says hugging me.

I give Tara her gifts and her mouth drops. "I love this, its so me. And these are my absolute favorite. Thank you Leah, you're so thoughtful" She says smiling and hugging me.

I give Ellie her gifts and she screeches. "How did you know"

"I listen to you Elle's" I say laughing as she tackles me in a hug. "Thank you so much" She says and I laugh. "You're so welcome"

"And, Mason. Last but not least" Jim says as I hand him his gifts.

He opens the watch first and smiles. "This must have cost a fortune. Thank you Leah"

"Theres another" I say smiling, getting kind of anxious. This was the most money I've spent on anyone considering its an actual ball that was used in a game and the signatures are real. It even came with a certificate.

"No fücking way" He gasps. "Mason White, language" Tara says upset.

"Oh my fücking god" Jim says and Tara looks at him shocked. "Jim, you too. Language" She says.

"Do you like it?" I ask nervously and Mason just looks at me like I have five heads.

"Do I like it? You got me a signed football that was actually used in the Chargers game (I don't know football at all so don't attack me! I just chose a random football team in California) and signed by all of their players. I love it so much. This is the best gift I've ever received" He says walking towards me.

"Okay, good. I was hoping you would like it" I smile and he hugs me.

"I don't deserve you" He whispers in my ear.

"Thats not true Mason, and you know it" I say struggling to breathe. "Don't kill me now"

"Sorry" He says holding the box with the football inside it.

"Let me get your gifts" Ellie says running upstairs and Mason follows.

"Leah, how much money did you spend on us" Tara says shocked.

"Not that much, I got a raise for being the best and most consistent worker and I'm getting another job. It's absolutely no issue" I say smile and she gives me a sad smile.

"We are always here Leah" Jim says and I give him a gracious smile as Mason and Ellie strut in with gifts.

Ellie hands them out first. She got her mom a mug covered in sunflowers and a shirt. She got her dad a mug as well but covered in baseballs. She got Mason a pair of sneakers and a dįcks sporting goods gift card. And then she got me a gorgeous casual red dress, some cute heels like the ones I wore the other day and two candles.

"Ellie, you spent so much on me. Thank you so much, I love all of it" I say hugging her.

"You deserve it"

Mason gives everyone their presents and then takes me to the side.

"Follow me" He says as we walk up into his room.

"Um, Ellie helped me because this was the first time I shopped for a girl besides my family. So, I hope you like it" He says scratching his neck and handing me a present.

It's a gorgeous ice blue colored polaroid camera. "Mason, I love it. I've wanted one for a while and this color is amazing" I say looking at him.

"Oh thank god, here is the next one" I rip into the wrapping to see a gorgeous gold necklace that is tight around the neck like a choker but has one chain going down with a couple diamond in it. "I thought that this could make an outfit complete and when I saw it I thought of you" He says and I smile.

"It's gorgeous. Definitely something that I didn't know I was missing" I say hugging him.

"One more" He says handing me a bag with a couple things wrapped in it.

It's a whole bunch of candles and face masks. "I love it all, thank you so much Mason. This honestly means the world to me" I say smiling.

"You deserve the world leah"

"Kids, get ready" Tara screams up and Ellie pulls me into her room.

"Now, we need to make you look hot" Ellie says pushing me in front of her vanity.

"I'm thinking a gorgeous rose gold eye look with your signature wing. Some fake lashes and dark red lipstick. Curled hair pulled into a beautiful braided up do and I have the perfect outfit for it" Ellie says as she starts applying foundation all over my face.

"Ellie, give me a second to breathe and process all this. Now whats going on?" I say and she pulls away, annoyed.

"Stop talking, you're gonna mess me up. And we are having family members over for christmas. You've seen Mason, good genes run in my family. We are gonna make you look smokin' so that Mason gets jealous and will make a move faster" She explains her masterminded plan.

"Ellie-"

"Stop talking" She snaps applying bronzer and the rest of my face.

The makeup turns out gorgeous and surprisingly doesn't look weird. It's me, even with the dark lipstick.

"Change into this" Ellie puts some clothes into my hands and ushers me into the bathroom.

It's a gorgeous red lace dress with a black belt. She gave me a pair if black heels and some stockings. I have a pink clutch and a gold bracelet along with my normal necklace and rings.

"It's gorgeous" I say walking out of the bathroom.

"You kill that outfit Leah" Ellie says clapping.

A knock sounds at the door and I go over to check my phone.

"I heard we have some company this Christmas" A male voice sounds as I turn around.

"Shut your hørny äss up Scott" The girl next to the male, Scott says.

"Well hello there. Ignore my sister please" He says walking towards me.

"Scott get the fück out of my room and away from my friend" Ellie says and he rolls his eyes and walks to Masons room.

"Hi, I'm Lydia. Thats my ässhole of a brother, Scott. Take a seat and let me do your hair" She says hugging me.

"It's nice to meet you" I say smiling.

"You aswell. So, my dear cousin here has told me about you and Mason. This plan is genius and I know for a fact Mason will get jealous" She says starting with my hair.

"He doesn't like me" I huff out.

"He let you wear his jersey, of course he does" Lydia says braiding the hair.

She finishes it up quickly and the outcome is beautiful.

While Lydia was doing my hair, Ellie was getting ready herself. Brooks is coming over so she needed to look amazing, which she did like always.

"Wow, I love it. Thank you so much" I say admiring the hair.

"Good. It's not a problem. I think everyone is here, let's go introduce you" She smiles and I nod, getting nervous.

"Theres the football master" Tom says as I walk into the kitchen.

"Hey Tom, how are you?" I smile hugging him.

"I'm good, and you've seemed to have caught every teenage boy in this rooms attention" He says winking at me.

I look around to see a thousand eyes and me, suddenly getting uncomfortable.

"Leah, wow. You look so beautiful" Tara says grabbing my shoulders. "Come, I'll introduce you"

I get introduced to just about everyone and then walk over to Mason.

"Hey Mas" I say smiling.

"Leah, you look incredible" Mason says. I take this time to look at his outfit. He's wearing a dark red button down shirt, some black jeans and his red and black basketball sneakers. His hair is styled to perfection and there isn't a single wrinkle anywhere.

"And so do you" I smile at him.

"Leah" Lydia calls and motions me towards her.

"Hey, whats up?" I question, my nerves picking up.

"My cousins wanted to say hi" She winks at me and stands next to me.

"Leah, this is Tyler, Logan, Spencer and Theo. Guys, this is Leah" She says and then walks away.

"Um, Lydia" I call but she just winks at me.

"You are really pretty" Logan says and I smile a tight lipped smile.

"Um, thanks" I say scratching my arm.

"So like you aren't our cousin right?" Tyler says and I shake my head.

"Um no, I'm Ellie and Masons best friend" I say clearing up the confusion.

"That's perfect then" Tyler says slowly moving to stand next to me.

"Um" I say nervously.

"So tell us a little about yourself" Spencer says.

"Um, theres not really much to tell" I say making eye contact with Ellie.

"Oh come on babe, I bet theres so much to tell" Tyler says wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Guys back off. She's not interested" Theo says and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in. At least someone sees it.

"Leah, are they bothering you?" Mason growls out removing Tyler's arm.

"We were just talking man, chill" Logan says as Mason grabs my hand.

"No, you chill. She's not interested" Mason says grabbing my hand and walking away. Tom smirks at me while Lydia and Ellie jump up and down.

"Ohh, they are definitely going to fück" Theo says teasing the guys, causing me to blush.

"No" I squeak out causing Mason to chuckle and Tom to let out a low laugh.

"Man, I can't stand them" Mason says to Tom.

"But you can stand your favorite cousin" Scott says behind us.

"Scott, how are you" Mason says hugging him.

"I'm good. Sorry about earlier, Leah. I didn't realize you and Mason were a thing" Scott says scratching his neck.

"Don't worry about it" I say noticing how bad he feels.

"What happened?" Mason says confused.

"When I first got here I went to say hi to Ellie with Lydia and saw Leah. I just thought she was one of Ellie's new friends who was single so I hit on her a little until Ellie kicked me out" He laughs and Mason's jaw clenches.

"Woah man, I seriously didn't know, I would never do that to you. Honest mistake, I promise" He says sticking his hand out.

"Alright, sorry" Mason says dabbing Scott up.

"Lets go in the living room" Mason says and Scott and I follow Mason to meet Ellie and Lydia.

They all follow and we sit down on the couches.

"Oh" Ellie says jumping up and running to the door. Brooks must be here.

"Guys, this is Brooks. Those are my idiot, hormonal cousins and this is Lydia and Scott, my normal cousins" Ellie says introducing Brooks.

"Hey" He smiles and sits down next to Ellie.

"Alright hun, I got your text. Where to?" Spencer says walking up to me.

"What?" I say confused.

"You texted me saying that you think I'm cute. Where do you want to go?" He says like I'm stupid.

"Get lost Spencer" Mason says rolling his eyes.

"What's he doing here?" Tom says squeezing in between Mason and I.

"Leah, can I borrow you for a second?" Tara says running over to me.

"Yeah of course. I'll be right back" I say turning to Mason and go off with Tara.

We go into Tara's room and she hands me a small, flat box.

It's the silk robe.

"I wanted to give this to you. You looked so gorgeous and Ellie already owns one. It fits you perfectly"

"Tara, I love it endlessly. I do, but I can't take this" I say admiring the material.

"Either you have it or the garbage does. And I would much rather it go to one of the sweetest girls I know. Take it" She says running back downstairs.

"Is everything okay?" Mason says and I turn around.

"Yeah, everything is perfect" I say hugging him.

I place the robe and its box in Masons room and look at the bed, wanting nothing more but to flop onto it.

"Leah" Mason says eyeing me, knowing exactly whats going through my mind.

I quickly run over to the bed and just flop down, making sure my dress doesn't come up.

"Listen Le, as much as I want to lay in bed and watch christmas movies, we can't right now" Mason says and I start to close my eyes.

"Leah, no. Get up" He says lifting me up bridal style.

"Is everything okay?" Tara asks concerned.

"Yeah, I just laid down on Masons bed and he started going crazy and picked me up. Which works out fine because I didn't want to walk anyway" I laugh and she smiles.

"We can go in the basement and watch a movie if you would like. But the annoying ässes might follow" Mason says rolling his eyes.

"Thats alright" I say and he nods, walking down the stairs to go into the basement.

Mason turns on a movie and grabs a blanket that I can cuddle under.

"Hey love birds" Tom says running down the stairs.

"Shut your face Tom" Mason says, rolling his eyes.

"Oh, you love me little Masey" He says ruffling his perfectly placed hair.

"Tom, go get me my hair gel" Mason says and I get up.

"I got it" I say walking up the stairs.

I find his hair gel and look at the name. It's not actually a gel, its more like a putty. It so that his hair is kept soft and doesn't have that typical gel look. I think.

"Mason, what is this stuff?" I say walking into the basement.
