Everyone's attention are on me now. Anticipation and curiosity filled their faces while waiting for my idea. But in order for this plan to work, they must put their trust on me.

"Since we're unable to gain any information about Nereus, I'll be visiting an old friend of mine."

"However, I must set off on this trip alone. My friend doesn't like anyone to know about their location."

"All of you must find a replacement for me while I'm gone. We can't rouse suspicion and alert the enemy about our action."

"I will ask the royal witch to cast a spell on me to hide my identity."

All of the council members agree that it's the best decision. By the looks of it, they're desperate to find an answer and trying to comprehend the situation.

They believe the saying "Knowing is Half The Battle". I agree with them. You can't possibly fight a war if you didn't know who you fought.

After we found out who he is, we can try to find out his true intention and confirm whether assisting the rogues are his only plan.

"Then that settle it. I will depart..."

"No you won't!" My dad cut me off before I can finish my sentence.

I move my gaze towards my dad, my mom, Riley and Carol. They all put on a disagreeing and hesitant face.

"We can't be hasty when taking this decision. There are far too many risks." Riley added.

"What if the rogues knows of our plan and they decide to ambush you on the way?" Carol protested.

"Honey please re-think your decision. It's like what Riley said, we can't be hasty and give the rogues a chance to make their move." My mom said.

I can tell that they're worried and yet, we must do this. I must convince them to trust me.

"Thank you everyone for worrying about me. But I have thought this through and this is the best plan that we can go with."

"There will be no guarantee that I'll be safe. However, I'm willing to risk it all for the sake of our people."

"I didn't even like this plan one bit and yet, we don't have any other choice." I finish my sentence with a pleading look. Hoping that they would let me go on this journey alone.

One way another, I must leave. Even if it's against my parent's wish and I have to sneak my way out.

Seeing my determine face, my dad take a long sigh while closing his eye. From his defeated look, I know that he would agree with me.

I hate to put them in that position, but if we don't act sooner, our choice will be even more limited and we might lose this war.

"Ok so here's the plan. I need all of you to keep my departure a secret. You also need to find a stand-in so we can complete this plan."

"We can't let anyone know about any of this." I ended my sentence.

The meeting ended and it's decided that I'll be leaving in two days. I spent the next day preparing everything and I'm finally off.

I'm heading straight into the secluded forest where she live. Her name is Eona.

Eona is a witch and she prefer to be alone and would sometime move around from time to time to prevent anyone knowing about her location.

Back then, witches are hated by human. They're accused of many things such as disease, death and any strange occurrence that happened beyond their understanding.

Every witches that mostly dwelled in Europe and America are hanged and burned alive under the accusation of bringing harm and disease.

When in truth, they always practice their magic safely and devote themselves to nature. They strive to live a peaceful life without harming anyone.

Most of their days are spent practicing magic and trying to invent potions or herbal remedy to cure illness.

Witches and warlocks all over the world panicked and ask us werewolves for help. Some refuse because they have took an oath on not to interfere with human's business.

But some including my kingdom helped them by giving them a safe place to hide. From generations to generations Eona's family have lived in our palace.

Their offspring are known for becoming the royal witches and warlocks of our kingdom. However, Eona have her own idea and decide to attend academy intended for witches and warlocks.

Once she graduated, she made the decision to left the castle and live on her own. Far from any civilisation.

She used to be my childhood friend and once she left, I was sad. But we always try to keep in contact with each other through letters.

Eona send her special messenger bird to me carrying letters from time to time. It's been two months since we exchanged letters.

She mentioned about living in a forest located in the north. She planned to stop moving for quite some time and stay there for a year or two.

In her letter she also asked me to visit her. But before I went to her place, I must inform her a few days prior so she could lift the traps and barrier she put.

I forgot to mention her about my visit and I just remember her words when I'm already half way there.

Well whatever, I'm just going to dive into it. I have no time left to spend. I'll just face whatever that is thrown to me.

I know it's not a wise decision but I got Sierra with me. If I were to be in danger, I'll just shift and use my sharp sense of smell to find a way back.

It took me almost two days of driving to reach where she is. I park my car on an empty hidden space where it can hardly be seen by any passer by hiker nor car.

If I'm not wrong the path towards her house are protected by an illusion fog that will lead anyone astray.

When I start walking, I was surrounded by lots of green tress and a warm beautiful sunlight. But as I start to get deeper into the forest, dead trees and thick fog are all that I can see.

Lots of dead leaves covered the forest ground and the sunlight are getting thinner. I'm quite surprised that Eona's magic is this strong.

I know from the start that she's a genius and talented witch but she have grown so much to be able to create this kind of fog.

As I was walking, I can feel chill up to my spine and the scenery surrounding me is getting even more creepier.

It all got worse when I hear a crunch of dead leaves behind me. I look behind and saw nothing. I start to walk faster and refuse to look behind.

But I was stopped when I smell a familiar scent. It belong to Michelle. I instinctively growl and challenged her to show herself.

She giggle mockingly at me and show herself from behind a tree.

"Well well if it isn't the princess going on alone on her brave adventure."

Just her voice alone make my blood boil and I honestly just want to rip her into pieces. She took away my mate and now she's here to taunt me.

But more surprisingly, how did she know that I'm the princess.

"Surprised aren't you? I bet your mind is wondering how do I know your real identity and why am I here?"

I refuse to answer and just continue to stand on my ground watching her next move.

"Well don't answer it's fine. I'll just show you how and please make sure you keep your mouth shut."

"Because I will be the one to make sure that I rip that mouth of yours open and cut it into tiny little pieces and send it back to your family."

She snapped her fingers and from the fog, I can see several rogues coming from behind her. There are five of them to be exact.

"You won't get away with this." I threaten.

"Oh sweetie, I already am. Rather than worrying about me, how about you worried about these rogues instead."

I can't believe it, she come up with a plan and working together with those rogues to capture me. Does the twins know about this?

Or are they also the one behind this? What matters now is I have to get away from here, fast. I can't let them capture me.

I took my fighting stance and prepare myself to face them. If I see any opening I will shift and run.

They all come towards me at the same time. This is bad, I can't fight all of them at the same time.

From here I can see Michelle is satisfied with my distressed look. She's enjoying the show that these rogues and I have put for her.

I start to regret the decision I made of not informing Eona beforehand. After exchanging some kicks and punches with my opponent, I finally found an opening.

I shift and start to run but not before a rogue manage to stand in front of me. He shift and all of them start to shift too.

I past after him and run before they can lunge at me. I keep running but I look back from time to time to make sure that they won't be able to catch up to me.

Then I saw a white wolf, it's Michelle. She run faster than any other rogues and she almost catch up to me.

Fuck this is bad. I feel Sierra asking me to give her control over my body so we can run faster. After I let her take over, my feet start to become lighter and I run faster.

To my surprise, Michelle start to run even faster. She's gaining up on us. I feel Sierra panic. We keep looking back not noticing the big rock in front of us.

Once we notice the rock, it was too late. Our head hit the rock, hard. We start to lose our balance and collapsed.

My head hurt like hell and our body fall to the ground. Our eye start to close but not before seeing Michelle's paw standing in front of our eyes.
