Not speaking or being around Dante wasn't easy but he needed to know that being dishonest comes with consequences. He could've died, and our baby wouldn't have met him. It truly hurt me that he thought lying to me was a good idea when he had promised to always be truthful after finding out about the Mafia.

I am willing to forgive him, because he is the father of my child and I love him but he has to know that I do not condone him being dishonest. I get that he is a Mafia Don and all but I deserve some honesty from him, especially when it involves me and our child.

I have been awake for a couple of minutes facing Dante as he was soundly sleeping. I truly love this man, that I can not deny but can I fully trust him? That I do not know. He says he won't lie again but I don't know, Dante likes to think what he says goes, and sometimes doesn't think of who is affected by his decisions especially his loved ones. That has got to end, I will not tolerate it nor the family.

I was so deep in thought that I didn't notice him waking up until I felt his lips pecking mine. "Good morning babygirl" I look at him stunned "morning" he brushes my hair out of my face. "Whats wrong?" I shrug not saying anything. He sighs and pulls me closer, "Something is troubling you love, and I would like to resolve it with you so please tell me whats wrong"

I look at him thinking of a way to say this "I don't know if I can fully trust you not lying again and almost dying. I don't know if one day you will just make a decision without thinking about us and how it will affect us as well. I just want true honesty in our relationship" I sigh after speaking to fast but saying everything I wanted to say.

His face was blank, I couldn't see what emotion he had really, just like how he was when we first met. " Nicole, Sometimes my decisions cannot be disclosed with you and the family, keeping you all safe is my job but love, this is the Mafia, People die. I promise to spend all my life with you no matter how long or shot it may be. I will fight to stay alive just for you and that boy growing inside of you. I never expected to find love in my world but since I have found you, I will fight for my life just to be with you, okay?"

Unshed tears form as he finishes his statement "but I don't want you to die" I say sounding timid and scared. "I won't" he kisses me, as he holds on to me, needing me as much as I need him. When he pulls away, he smiles at me "Did I ever tell you how much I love you" I smile, "All the damn time" he chuckles "that's because I mean it" I shrug "well I know"

He chuckles more "savage" I kiss him missing the feeling of his lips against mine. That is until my boy kicks, his kicks we're getting harder everytime. "Ouch! Baby don't do that" I say scolding my baby boy. "He probably feels left out" Dante says chuckling and rubbing my belly soothing the kicks to dial down.

I sigh "well he needs to stop or he will be getting an earful when his born" I say try to sit up which isn't as easy at it used to be. Dante is quick to help me out of bed. "We are going out today" he says walking with me to the bathroom, I stop walking and look at him "where are we going?" All of a sudden, I was too excited. "One a date, I never did take you out on of those yet" A wide smile spreads across my face.

"Well ask me properly then" He chuckles and holds me facing me. "Nicole, will you go on a date with me?" I smirk and shrug "Sure" I say turning and walking to the bathroom. He laughs walking behind me.

"Trying to be cool I see" I giggle "Maybe"

After we had both showered and got ready, he turned and looked at me with loving eyes. He kisses me passionately, "you look beautiful Gattino" I blush looking down on my short summer's dress as I do a half twirl. "Thank you" he smiles and kisses my forehead.

"Come, lets go. You must be starving" I nod taking my phone and leaving with him. When we reach down stairs, we see Damian eating Toast while walking out of the kitchen. "You look cute today Nicki" I blush once more "Thank you, Dante is finally taking me out on a Date" I giggle when Dante rolls his eyes after my statement.

"Finally! How are you going to get this girl pregnant and not even take her out? Amateurs!" Damian says shaking his head in disappointment and looking at Dante. Dante glares at him as Damians' baritone laugh is heard. He quickly walks away while yelling "Enjoy!" I giggle and try to drag Dante out as he was still glaring at his brothers back.

"Dante lets go!" I whine and he turns to me. "My brother is still an idiot" I laugh while he shakes his head and we leave. When we get to the car and drive out, I turn to look at him "So where are you taking me?" He smiles, "you will see"

I pout "Fine be that way" he takes my hand and kisses the back of it. After what seemed like forever, we finally stop by a beautiful lake house if It was even a house. The whole thing looked like a mansion. "Love what are we doing here?"

He doesn't say anything as he gets out of the car and comes to my side.

He helps me out smiling at me. I look at him confused. "This lake house is yours" he says as we stand by the door. I look at him as I couldn't understand what he just said. "What now?" He chuckles. "You mentioned to Donna this one day while I was walking by on how you wish you had grown up in a lake house. Which is weird because you are terrified of swimming and simply the ocean" he chuckles on his last statement.

I playfully glare at him and hit his chest. " alright alright! Shut up" He kisses my temple. "Since we are having a family, I thought it would be a good Idea to get you a lake house where we can bring our children on weekends maybe. And I can finally teach you how to swim as well on the lake" He says shrugging like its no big deal but I know he is nervous.

"I swear to God, I love you" I say while happy tears flow down my face. He looks at me and sighs out of relief. "Thank you so much baby" he smiles and nods and kisses me. He pulls away and I hug him. He chuckles, "would you like to see the inside" I nod with a huge smile on my face.

When we enter the house I see two maids I know from the mansion with trays one with orange juice, another with Dantes bourbon. They smile at me and I greet them. I take my orange and we walk in the house, it is everything I had imagined.

"How did you know exactly how I would like this house?" I say turning to look at him.

"Manipulated Donna into telling me by taking her favorite car and promising to sell it" "Oh no, not the Lambo" I say laughing at him. He smirks and Shrugs "she wouldn't tell me. Although when she found out its yours, she ended up wanting to do the interior" I smile "I will have to thank her when we get back"

It was a 10 room lake house, all rooms having beautiful luxurious bathrooms as well. A beautiful white kitchen, a movie room, indoor pool as well with a glass roof and a huge living room. I could see my children running around, chasing each other. I could see it all. I was so content I didn't notice I was crying. "Don't cry love" Dante says wiping my tears. "I'm just so happy, Thank you so much Dante" he smiles and kisses me. "Anything for you"

"Come lets go to the back" we walk out and I finally see the lovely lake, it was all so beautiful with all the colorful trees. And then I see a picnic setup. "A picnic date? So cute" I say kissing his cheek. I go to see it clearly it was so cheesy and yet so sweet of him to do the simple loving date.

He helps me sit down and covers me in pillows so I can be comfortable. I smile and thank him, He is so extra careful now that Im 8 months pregnant. All junk food I love is on view and my mouth waters. "Dig in babygirl" I dont waste anymore time as I start eating while he eats as well. "What made you think I would love a picnic date?"

He shrugs "Donna told me" I smile, yup my best friend knows me too well. "Doesn't mean I won't take you out on a luxurious restaurant though" I laugh "off course you will" after we ate we walked around to the lake at I was content and looking over the view.

"Babygirl" I turn to look at him "what is it Dante?" He smiles and kisses my lips, when he pulls away. He goes down on one knee and takes out a small red velvet box with a beautiful ring. I look at him stunned, "Ever since I saw you in my club I knew you were mine. And the more I trued to deny it the more I fell inlove with you. Finally deciding to make you mine was the best decision I have ever made. You telling me you love me and accepting me as who I am was the best thing I have ever heard. I never thought I deserve to be loved, I never thought I would fall inlove but you did it babygirl you proved me wrong."

I try to control my breathing as I cry "When we found out that you were pregnant, I knew it was real, you were officially mine and going to be the mother of my children. So I want to seal this with a promise, I promise to be with you as our family grows, I promise to love you and protect you for the rest of my life. All I need from you is to let me do that. So Nicole Jackson, will you marry me?"

I was trying to say anything my crying had become a lot. So I take deep breaths and nod. "Y-yes! Yes I'll marry you" He smiles at me and he takes out the ring and puts it on my finger. It fits perfectly "I love it, I love you"

He smiles at me "I love you too" I sigh and rest my head on his chest in content with everything. A dream lake house, A dream date and a dream fiancé. What else can a girl ask for. He holds me tighter and kisses my forehead, "Paps will finally stop nagging at me" I giggle, Diego has been scolding Dante about marrying me ever since he met me. "Well not until we get married" he chuckles "Yeah I'll leave that to you girls" I laugh "Good".

"Come lets go inside, so I can show how much I appreciate you" I blush knowing exactly what we were going to do. Its been a month and God knows I need this. I innocently look up at him "Cant wait"
