[Baby Daddy ⬆️!]

I hated lying to her. I know I have mastered lying and it wouldn't affect me when I did but this time, it made me feel guilty. Lying to the mother of my child felt so wrong and yet I couldn't tell her the honest truth. I wouldn't want to stress her and the baby. She will know about everything when it is all sorted though, I am a Mafia man who is capable of solving my own problems. And this is one of those problems.

I know I haven't been there for her in the couple of weeks. That's because there is a threat and I need to get rid of it before it affects my family. I wasn't going to Venice, hell I wasn't even leaving town, I had found who has been threatening not only my woman but also Mrs Ross, Nicoles' nonna. The idiots who dare to threaten me didn't think I'd find them, they have kept sending me photos of my Queen and her nonna making it obvious they wanted them dead.

It wasn't hard to understand the reason why though, they think Mrs Ross is a traitor for killing Patrick Ross and siding with the Italians. And my Gattino is collateral damage I guess. Since we knew why, we had to find the who in the American men. We found out that the moment Mrs Ross moved to the Mansion, two of our guards haven't been coming to work or at their place.

Their house looked abandoned, and left with nothing but furniture. The one thing they thought we didn't know is that their father was one of the loyal guards of Patrick and didn't want to join the mafia when Nonno took over. And the consequences of not joining the next Mafia is death. Luckily for me, Paps was the one who kept all records of the American Mafia back in the day and viola we found who their identities were.

Their names were Max White ,age 46 and Malcom White, age 44. I really didn't have time to be fighting old people but they had to involve my Queen, Now I have to lie and kill behind my Queens back. She will definitely be mad at me for that but as her man, it is my job to keep her safe at all times.

I sigh leaving my home office. After the very eventful day I had to Gattino, I wasn't able to concentrate until we came back and she went to our room for a well deserved nap. If she didn't insist on taking a nap, we would still be going at it even now. I smirk shaking my head. "Why are you smirking?" Damian voice rings out infront of me. "Nothing to worry yourself about. I'm leaving tomorrow"

He frowns looking confused " where are we going?" I sigh, he is not going on like this. "you are staying, Stefano and Stephen will be going with me" he crosses his arms on his chest, scowling at me. Damn! This will take some convincing "Dante, I am your underboss, I go with you all the time" I scowl at him "And I am your fucking boss and big brother. When I say you stay, I mean you stay" he sighs "where are you going?" I smirk "Brooklyn, the two old idiots are hiding at an old house there. Im going to kill them and end all this stupidity"

He grumbles "but I want to go" he whines trying to plead with me. For a mafia man, he damn sure can be a baby. "I need the twins with me, I want to make a great example of those two. So that if someone else even thinks of threatening my family again, they would know what will happen to them" He sighs obviously disappointed "listen, I am leaving you because I know you will do a great job in making sure they are all safe." He smirks "I do wish someone would try me though, it would be fun"

We both chuckle "when they figure out that you are with the family, I am sure they wouldn't dare" I pat his back while we both walk down to the dining room where everyone is waiting for us. "Finally! I'm starving" Gattino says looking at the food. Everyone laughs at her exaggeration and I sit next to her kissing her temple. "I apologize Amore, next time don't wait for me" she smiles "okay! I won't"

I chuckle and start eating as everyone does the same. "I heard you are leaving tomorrow" my mom says looking at me. I wipe my mouth and nod "I have to handle some business in Venice" she nods "Well I hope you have a safe trip and you better come back soon" I smile and nod "just three days and I'll be back" the dinner goes by with conversations there and there until its time for bed.

I take Gattinos' hand and we bid everyone a goodnight. When we reach the stairs, I lift her in my arms as I know we will take forever if she walks up. "Hey! I need to do my steps for the day" she whines wrapping her arms around my neck. "Babygirl, I love you but you are slow, and I am exhausted" she pouts "well its your fault that I'm slow"

I chuckle "yeah I know" we get to the room, I put her on the bed as I help her out of the dress. I try to control myself as I already know she is tired. I go to the closet taking off my clothes and wearing pajama pants and walk back with one of my black t-shirts. She is still on the bed swinging her legs and harming a Lullaby as she rubs her round tummy. I smile and go to kiss my little prince and kiss my Queen after. I give her the t-shirt and she puts in on smiling and shifts to get in the bed.

I kiss her soft lips and after a while we pull away. she climbs on top of me straddling me, her hair almost covering her face as she looks down on me. "I thought you were tired" I say chuckling. She smirks and starts grinding on me. "And I took a nap" I roll her over, taking off my pajama pants wondering why I even bothered knowing we would end up like this.

I leave wet kisses on her neck, she starts moaning and continues with her grinding. She squeezes me with her legs as I thrust into her unexpectedly. She moans louder as she adjusts, I kiss her and start moving. We go till we are both satisfied, with sweat covering the both of us as we try to catch our breaths. I carry her to the bathroom knowing she can't stand while her legs are shaking the way they are.

I open up warm water on the bathtub and wait for it to feel while she is waiting and sitting on the toilet sit. She is holding my t-shirt which she took off during. When the water is ready I go to pick her up again and put her slowly in the tub. She instantly relaxes and smiles at me. "Join me?" I smile at her and get in, The water instantly relaxes my body. We were sitting opposite each other starring at one another. She come closer and straddles me lap, resting her head on my chest. I kiss her forehead, enjoying this moment with her.

"I'm going to miss you" she mumbles and I frown to myself remembering what I'm about to do in the next 3 days. "I'll miss you so much more" she hums almost falling asleep. After some time we get out and dry each other off as she goes for the t-shirt and wears it. I have a feeling I won't be owning that anymore. I kiss her and we go to bed, I pull her close reminding her of my love for her.

I just hope everyone will be okay until I get back. That was my last thought before drifting off to sleep.
