《Nostalgia | ✔》Bookshelf Magic

Running fingers across, like a pianist

I can't bring myself to reduce the list

Wandering around this cosy library

I wonder if, old pages, we can marry

I open these books and loose myself

Into magic chosen from a bookshelf

They quench my rising wanderlust

And show me things just and unjust

Holding my hand, pulling me along

To keep me exploring, still I belong

Slowly, they guide me through life

Keeping me safe through any strife

They teach me to keep holding on

To never give up on a silent phone

Diving deep into shy hidden secrets

They help me foresee all the life bets

They push me into galaxies of stars

Slowly, healing my wounds 'n' scars

Reminding me of childhood parks

The high skies, all the soaring larks

Walking through the lovely fictions

I escape all the reality's restrictions

Drinking in the sensations of poetry

I fall into bits like beads in a rosary

Weaving the webs of light fantasies

I loose myself into taste of ecstasies

Spending nights hidden into novels

I see how imagination slowly revels

I give my tears and laughs to books

Oh they glitter my veins and nooks

Reveling in their soft blissful touch

I've been ignoring my sleep so much

Half-closed lids, my slipping glasses

I get drugged on words, time passes

Every night I lose control of myself

I give in to magic from a...
