I turned around to take a look

Back across my memory lane

Accompanied by the loneliness

I felt myself going so insane

Not a single soul was there

To await the fading steps of mine

To give my heart a loving boost

To tell me that I need to shine

I felt the coldness everywhere

The drowning sunsets gone away

For so long winter in my heart

Felt like it will forever stay

Autumn leaves covered the path

The miles that I had walked upon

My homey cottage, nowhere to see

The heart inside me was a stone

My helplessness dawned on me

Falling to my knees so hard

I cried a lot, my tears a waste

Crushing my soul pieces apart

The paper planes of my childhood

Flew above high in the sky

Far away from my broken reach

Saying a very harsh goodbye

All the friends that I ever had

Were gone away so long ago

Busier in their lives and stuff

No one left to share my sorrow

I dragged myself to a falling tree

And let myself lie under it

Waiting then to be found upon

I closed my eyes a little bit

Realising the harsh realities

I got the point of memories so

Useless are they and so will be

Alone we come and alone we go
