Taehyung was extremely worried as he walked to Jinyoung's house. The all too familiar way to his apartment was now completely strange. He walked instead of taking a bus or a cab, it gave him time to think what he was going to say to Jinyoung.
He had bought sweets to give those to Hwang Daejoon, the watchman. When he was staying in that apartment with Jinyoung, he would occasionally give the sweets he made to the watchman.
It was a bit cold and pitch dark, he put his hands in the pockets, in a way to calm his freezing hands. Once he reached the building, he saw he had been walking for almost fifteen minutes now.
He saw Daejoon sitting on his chair and walked towards him.
"Hey, hyung." The watchman seemed to light up after hearing the familiar voice.
"Taehyung-ah, how are you?" Daejoon asked as he took the bag Taehyung offered to him. He looked at the small tiffin box only to find the delicious sweets that Taehyung had made.
"I'm fine, I'm in hurry, eat those sweets before I return okay?"
"Yes, yes go ahead, mark you entry."
Taehyung quickly marked his entry, putting the accurate time and then going in. Taking the stairs he climed till the fourth floor.
He was now standing outside of Jinyoung's house almost ready to knock, and he did so, and Jinyoung opened the door. He was instantly pulled in a hug by the older.
"I missed you so much, Tae." Jinyoung muttered against Taehyung's neck. Taehyung only hummed and patted Jinyoung's back.
"Let's eat baby, I made your favorite." Jinyoung enthusiastically walked towards the dining table, sitting down on one of the chairs not before pulling one chair out for Taehyung.
It was kind of odd for Taehyung. Jinyoung was behaving like everything was okay, like they didn't just break up a month ago. This had Taehyung thinking that maybe he was not the one, he was never the one.
He roamed his eyes around the apartment, a place which he once called 'home' was feeling so uncomfortable right now. The painting he had hung were no longer there, the purple curtains that he had put up were replaced by green ones. The doormat which was furry is plain, black now. The apartment once had an aroma of rose was now replaced with the place reeking with alcohol.

His eyes watered a bit, seeing the change. It was like all that beautiful apartment and a loving boyfriend was a mere dream. It didn't happen in reality. Because perfections never exists, it's an illusion. A delusion.
"Baby." He heard Jinyoung's voice, he walked towards the table and sat down. He saw the dish Jinyoung had prepared, it was steak. He never really liked steak. But Jinyoung said he prepared his favorite.
"Where is my favorite?" Taehyung asked.
"The steak baby, isn't it your favorite." Taehyung sighed, obviously what did he expect?
He quietly started eating the steak.
"Baby, it's Valentine's day soon." Jinyoung started talking and Taehyung just wanted to shove a whole shoe down his throat. He felt irritated.
"Yeah."
"I want you to accompany me as a date." Jinyoung literally ordered.
"What? No. We broke up, Jinyoung."
"Doesn't matter baby, if you want the videos to be deleted you'll accompany me."
Taehyung wanted to scream. This is not fair.
"Why? There are so many people around you, take one of them. Why me?"
"Don't be flattered, darling. You're just beautiful and I want to show them, I've better boyfriend than their's." Jinyoung spoke. The words dripping sweetly like honey.
"No."
"That video will be posted online then. Without covering your face." Jinyoung hissed.
"You can't do that Jinyoung. Why can't you just leave me alone."
"I can't."
Taehyung sighed. It will be difficult to convince Jinyoung to delete the video. He will do something, though. He can't go that party and pretend to be Jinyoung's boyfriend. That'll be so humiliating.
It had been almost an hour and both of them are literally sitting in front of the dinner, which now has gone cold. Jinyoung maybe did eat something, but Taehyung didn't.
Except for a bite, he didn't eat anything. However he has to eat it all because Jinyoung said they won't talk unless he's done eating and this is suffocating Taehyung.
Death would be better than sitting here.
"Jinyoung, please." Taehyung pleaded.
Taehyung was never someone who would do that, but right now his mind is blank. He feels irritated, he feels annoyed. He feels stupid and he feels like he could kill someone right now, if Jinyoung doesn't start talking.

"Baby, eat."
"No, what is your problem? Why are you doing this to me? You cheated on me Jinyoung. I never did anything wrong, you did."
"Yes, I did. I did cheat on you." Jinyoung laughed. "Because you were a bore. A nuisance. You were nothing but an annoying piece of shit." Jinyoung continued.
Taehyung's eyebrows twitched, but he had decided not to get fazed by Jinyoung's words.
"You were an idiot. Did you seriously believed I liked you? I didn't, it was a bet between me and Jun."
Jinyoung stood up, angrily. He started pacing back and forth in the living room. Never watching how affected Taehyung was by his words. Although Taehyung masked them all, he decided not to show how weak he was feeling now.
"I was only going to date you for a month, but it was so fun being with you. You would do whatever I tell you, you would even make notes for me, you would give me money and that's why I decided not to break up with you."
He kept saying angrily as he walked. He didn't care how Taehyung was now getting mad. He never saw how Taehyung sat there fuming with anger.
Taehyung now wanted Jinyoung to stop talking. It was too much. All he did understand that he was living a lie this past four years. A complete lie. His relationship was never real. It was all about the wants. And nothing else. He understood though. However he had believed that Jinyoung might have changed last year, but he never knew Jinyoung was always like this.
"I stayed loyal to you, though. For almost three years. My fucking three years were wasted on you. All on you! But did you care? No you didn't. You never did. Then last year, I met Elle, she cared for me. We fucked and I swear she was so much better than you."
Taehyung now had enough of Jinyoung, he stood up. In attempts of stopping Jinyoung he started walking too, came right in front of him, but that just added fuel to Jinyoung's anger.
"The fuck Taehyung. Did you eat." Jinyoung walked and saw the plate still unemptied. "You didn't." He continued and picked the lamp right beside the couch. He didn't mind if it was hot, he didn't care if his hand was burning. He threw it right at Taehyung. "YOU DIDN'T?" Taehyung had fast reflexes and easily dodged it.
"Jinyoung calm down."
This didn't work. "Eat bitch, eat the damn food I made."
Taehyung thought this isn't going to work. He already had switched his phone off, so he won't be disturb or had to explain Jimin where he was this late. So calling anyone was not an option now.
"BLOODY FUCKER, JUST GO EAT." Jinyoung screamd and Taehyung flinched at the sudden voice. An immense anger made Taehyung walk to the dining table. He saw the kitchen knife that was placed there and picked it up with his own handkerchief.
"You are nothing but shit. It wasn't a big deal dating you. You are only beautiful. A beauty with no brai-"
Jinyoung stopped talking when he felt an unexplainable pain right above his hips, he looked down to see a knife being stabbed there and long, slender fingers holding the knife. He instantly knew whose fingers they were, although he needed to confirm it and that's why he looked up. He saw the face. He saw him.
Kim Taehyung.
He had no look on his face, it looked like he was an emotionless doll, only wanting to do the work as fast as he could. Jinyoung couldn't even speak, he couldn't even move as if he was stuck there.
"It was a big deal." He stabbed him again and again.
"Yes Jinyoung, I never did anything wrong. You did." And then he stabbed him for the fourth and the last time.
Jinyoung died on the spot.
Taehyung felt it again.
The happiness.
But no regret.

Protagonist: The Whims of Gods
Book one now also on Amazon! After quitting her job as a therapist and grabbing some work at a dog shelter, Tess's life became pretty slow. A tad boring, even. It thus came as no small surprise when she was chosen by a god. Thrust into a new world where magic, monsters, and character levels are suddenly a reality, Tess will quickly find that just surviving can be a challenge. It doesn't help that dark forces are stirring, she's woefully underpowered, and that spiders keep trying to claw her face off. One thing's for certain, though: The possibilities are endless. Will she end up wrestling a dragon? Becoming an arch-mage? Opening a quaint, bookstore, coffee shop, and wine bar for elves? The choice is hers... As long as she can live long enough to make it. Protagonist is a fairly classic LitRPG novel with character levels, classes, stats, settlements, and other LitRPG elements. Unlike a lot of LitRPG stories, while the protagonist has some perks, she doesn't start off overpowered. You can expect to see her struggle as she advances. This novel also takes the opportunity to explore some less frequently seen builds, shying away from any min-maxing. Chapters are about ~2000-3000 words and are released at 8:00am ET every other day.

A Broken World [Rewrite]
In a world of floating islands of stone in the sky, where rivers flow through the air and defy gravity from one island to another, and ancient ruins can be found containing wonders beyond what can be produced by the lands current inhabitants- a millenia long war rages. In the distant past, beyond recorded history, when the crown of humanity's glory, the city of Uri, had stood whole against the enroaching demon swarms- even as hope seemed lost, a band of heroes, against all odds, managed to steal powerful magical knowledge from the demons. With the demon's forbidden knowledge, in the heart of Uri a new ritual was made. A thousand years later, the ritual was used again and "The First Sorceress" was brought to the world. She brought the knowledge of advanced magics, and techniques to find and refine magical talent. With the magic power now added to the battlefield, the stalemate was broken. And for the first time, the demons were pushed back. Another thousand years later, and all of humanites hope for a final victory were dashed. Traitors slew the ritual's participants and took their places, and humanity quaked as The Demon King stepped into the world. His name, his nature, where he came from none of these are known, but what is known is his overwhelming power and his brilliant strategic leadership of the formerly formless hordes. Still, despite their position being even more dire than it has ever been since history has been recorded, humanity held on for another thousand years. Aided, thankfully, by The Demon King not taking the field after the first few years and battles. Now, the ritual is being cast again and a new hero is being summoned. In our world, after nearly three decades of study and hard work, Lucas Jaeger is making his dreams come true. With a double doctorate in both genetics and microbiology, as well as an associates degree in accounting, he has finally, after nearly driving himself mad from stress and sick from overwork, been able to put to together a presentation and ask for a business loan. His long time dream, earned by his own blood and sweat, to start his own commercial genetic company is finally coming to fruition. Lucas's car never left the banks parking lot and Lucas was never seen again in our world. This is a rewrite of "A Broken World."
