《Enigma [Vkook/Taekook]》19

Taehyung and Jinyoung had been in a happy relationship for the past three years. They were in the same uni, they had moved in together, they would go on small dates almost daily.
What more did Taehyung need?
Well apparently, Jinyoung wasn't giving Taehyung the attention he wanted. Sure, they would hangout, they would play games, go to the uni together, go clubbing together, but there was something missing.
Taehyung would wake up alone, in a cold bed. 'I was studying.' Jinyoung would tell him when he would return home in the afternoon.
Taehyung would go to sleep alone, without Jinyoung by his side. 'I was studying' would always be his excuse.
Although, Taehyung didn't give it second thoughts. He always believed Jinyoung loved him more than he could ever love the older.
Jinyoung had found him when he was at his worst. He had fixed him. He had loved him. He had made him feel alive.
How funny it is that someone comes to your life when you need comfort. They take all your broken pieces and mend it together, in a shape of heart. And that heart is nothing but their love.
And more funny part is; even they leave you when you get used to the comfort.
Like that, the cycle continues.
Who even believes in true love, nowadays?
Love is just a myth now.
A beautiful myth, which once existed.
But Taehyung shook his head, he trusted Jinyoung. He had given him his heart, and he believed the older had did the same. And Taehyung had vowed to protect Jinyoung's heart in every situation.
That was before Jinyoung decided to cheat.
All Taehyung's trust, his promises, his vows, his beliefs, everything were broken.
Especially his heart.
His heart craved Jinyoung's love and affection. But knowing the guy had been cheating him for a year, Taehyung felt helpless.

Jimin's constant support and love were never enough.
You should never put anyone above yourself.
It will always hurt you, not them.
Taehyung learned this the hard way.
He had wished he had loved himself enough and had hoped he wasn't hurting the way he was hurting when he broke up with Jinyoung.
However, life isn't always perfect.
There are flaws in everything.
And Taehyung believed that he was born with flaws and no perfection.
So he decided. He decided to love it the way it is. He will think twice before going to a man. He will now show his flaws first and then his perfections, that is if he had any.
Fuck people who use people for fun.
Love still exists.
It's not a myth.
You don't need the right someone for it.
Loving yourself would be enough.
And oh, when you feel low, look in the mirror and think why you are here, what is your purpose, and you'll always find one answer.
'Love your flaws, along with your perfections.'
So Taehyung decided to do the same.

'He should just die.'
Taehyung's mind screamed. He wanted to die. He couldn't hold it anymore. He was blamed. He was accused. He was bullied.
When he did nothing wrong.
Why would people say that, obviously because he was nothing but a nuisance. He only had flaws now, he thought. Nothing perfect.
He screamed, "STOP."
But the voices never stopped.
'He should just die.'
'Why do people like him exist?'
'He should just die.'
'Die.'
'Die.'
'Die.'
He has to die. He'll be born again. He'll be perfect this time. A lovely guy, who would be loved by all. Oh how he wished that this was true.

He climbed the wall, and stood on the edge. He was gonna end this all now. End all of the thoughts, all of it. He was tired and it was high time. No one cared about him anyways and that was good, no one will shed tears for him.
Maybe he'll meet Jinyoung then, he'll ask him why he did what he did. He'll ask the older everything. Every questions, every doubts he ever had. He just had to jump.
He closed his eyes, wind hitting his face. He took a deep breath and looked down. It looked scary now that he's here. But did he care? No.
He closed his eyes, again and was ready to jump. When he felt it. He felt the pull. It was gravity maybe, but it was fast, very fast.
He fell, but he didn't feel any pain. It was soft. Did he die so instantly that he didn't feel anything? Wow, it was quick then!
He opened his eyes, but instead of being dead, lying on the road. He was in someone's arms. He had fallen backwards and not forward.
And now that he thinks about it, someone had held him by his waist and pulled him backwards. But who? Who even cares and that's when he saw Jungkook.
"Why the fuck?" Jungkook screamed.
"I should ask you that. Why the fuck? Why did you save me, you asshole?"
"Taehyung, are you kidding me. You could have literally died!"
"Well that's why I was here."
"Taehyung, why would you?" Jungkook asked softly brushing Taehyung's hair to reveal his forhead.
"Why would I? Why do you think? I hate it. I fucking hate it. Everyone looks at me like I did something wrong. Even Jimin hated me. Now even the dean suspended me. Why? Why me?"
Jungkook felt bad for the other. He quietly pulled the other in his arms and the younger started to sob.
"I did nothing wrong, Jungkook." Taehyung sobbed.
"I know Tae, I know."
Jungkook pulled the other up and held his face in his hands.
Taehyung looked so beautiful like this. The sun was setting and it's golden rays were falling directly on the younger making him look like an angel. He was an angel no doubt. His eyes which had tears looked pretty and his lips had formed a cute pout.
"I believe you, Taehyung. I do."
And without thinking anything else, Jungkook kissed those lips.
Taehyung doesn't know what came over him but he kissed back. Jungkook's lips were soft, like a pillow. He missed being held like this, like he was loved. Like he was a piece of glass which will break easily and Jungkook held him just like this.
However good things end soon and Taehyung realized what he was doing as he pushed Jungkook away and walled out of the terrace only to go back home and cry, again.
