It was raining. Jungkook was keeping an eye on Taehyung. It was late and he wondered why the other haven't left yet. While he was working with Namjoon this afternoon, Shin was the one keeping an eye on the younger.

It was boring, really. He doesn't knows if it's even worth it. The case is going somewhere else. And Taehyung doesn't seem a part of it, but still it was necessary.

He saw Taehyung coming out of the cafe. The younger didn't have any umbrella nor did he have any raincoat. Nevertheless, Taehyung walked in the rain like it didn't affect him. Jungkook was tempted to drop Taehyung back home, but thinking about what happened last time they had breakfast he dropped the idea.

Taehyung walked quietly in the rain, enjoying the water droplets that fell on him. He was thinking about many things, while walking towards the bus stop. The first thing was, he really have to visit the university tomorrow. Ask the dean about the classes he missed.

The dean will surely suspend him, no he won't, he shook his head. He thought about all the possibilities that could happen tomorrow and they all ended in a worse way.

He had been busy this past few days, but he took a leave for tomorrow from the cafe. He really had to get his shit together. He even needs to talk to Jimin.

He misses Jimin so much. Even if they fought the last time, he still thinks Jimin loves him the same amount he did before.

He sat down on the bench, waiting for his bus. He was exhausted, he had many things to do today. He didn't know when the exhaustion started working on him and just like that he fell asleep while still sitting, waiting for his bus.

Jungkook saw it all, he saw how tired the younger look. He looked so worn out. He also saw how the younger was dozing off, while sitting. And Jungkook had the courage to walk up to him. Finally.

Only when the younger fell asleep.

He sat beside Taehyung and gently put the younger's head on his shoulder. Taehyung stirred but went back to sleep once Jungkook patted his head.

Jungkook sat there and thought about how he walked from his car to the bench, just to sit beside Taehyung. He never in his life had liked rain, but now he for Taehyung he doesn't mind getting wet in it. He didn't mind walking out from the comfort of his car and sit right beside the younger.

It felt nice.

He has been feeling like this since the day he saw Taehyung cry. It was pity at first. He pitied the younger boy who was caught in this murder stuff. But now it's not that. He knows this. He knows this by his heart.

Jungkook have had relationships in his past. Some ended even when they began, but none of them made him feel the way he feels about Taehyung. He doesn't think it's love. It's not.

He likes the younger.

Yes he does.

Or maybe more.

But it's not love.

He likes the younger because of how simple, cute, beautiful, adorable and oh god he just likes him so much. He remembers how the younger had smiled when he had got the job at the cafe.

That cute beautiful boxy smile of his. The way his eyes had crinkled.

The deep laughter that left his mouth while talking to the owner of the apartment.

His small sniffles when he cried that day, alone.

The way he zones out while looking at his food, the way he eats in his pout.

His cherry red lips.

His tan skin.

His moles on his face.

His long, slender fingers.

His curly but soft hair.

Everything about him.

Him.

Jungkook likes him. A lot. More than that. But he doesn't know. He wants to tell this to Taehyung. But he decided to wait, wait until the case is done. Wait until Taehyung isn't the suspect anymore.

And once it's done, he'll run and tell Taehyung he likes him. He doesn't care if the younger doesn't likes him back, okay he does, but he just wants to get this off, of his chest.

He will tell Taehyung once this stupid, oh so difficult case is done.

Until then he decided to enjoy the warmth of the younger's body, he looks ethereal while he sleeps.

And Jungkook thinks he'd fall asleep too if there wasn't this stupid car passing by them waking Taehyung up, who in return gave him a weird look.

Taehyung was really happy after he broke up with Bogum. It had been weeks he broke up and he was enjoying every moment. Especially with Jimin by his side.

They both would hangout at Jimin's house. They would watch movies, sometimes do karaoke, they would bake too.

It was all fun.

When one day Park Bogum's friend, Chris bullied Jimin.

Chris had said that Taehyung was the reason Bogum wasn't in the school anymore. He had said that he is sure it was Taehyung who had posted that embarrassing video of Bogum.

And he had said it all to Jimin. He had hit Jimin. He had banged his head on the lockers. The shorter was badly injured. But no one did anything. No one stood up for him.

Also to his luck, Taehyung wasn't present the same exact day.

Jimin had came to him the same day, crying about everything. And Taehyung was pissed. He had calmed his bestfriend down, bought him all his favorite ice creams and had watched movies with him.

The next day, the news of Chris being admitted to the hospital spread like a wildfire.

No one knew what had happened. Well except for the fact that someone had hit his head from behind and Chris doesn't know who it was.

Yes.

It was Taehyung.

The previous night, while Chris was happily walking back home after visiting his girlfriend, more like one of his whores from many, Taehyung had followed him.

They had reached a dark alley and Chris didn't knew anyone was following him. Well thanks to the obnoxiously loud music that was playing in his ears by the earphone he was wearing.

Taehyung had taken a chance and had hit Chris with a baseball bat, the impact was so heavy that the guy passed out the next second.

Taehyung's only intention was to hurt him and nothing else.

And this time too, he felt nothing.

He felt proud.

But, no regret.

After two years of the incident, Taehyung graduated school. He and Jimin were lucky enough to land in the same uni.

The best part being, Jimin's older brother, Jinyoung was also in the same uni. He had transferred here from the states due to some personal reason.

As days went by Taehyung and Jinyoung started seeing each other more. Started spending an awful amount of time together.

In three months, Jinyoung had proposed Taehyung.

Once they both were in a relationship. Taehyung had felt happy, very happy. His past was buried deep within him, no one had to know what he did.

It was all for his loved ones, he had told himself.

With Jinyoung, Taehyung felt something he had never felt before.

He felt love.
