lizzie helped cover up bruises with make up before making sure i had everything i needed. i didnt have my bag or anything but i convinced her i had enough stuff in my locker to get threw the day so i didnt have to go back to my house.

we get in her car and everything seems so normal as if it was something we always did. a couple minutes into the drive i remembered something. i still need to figure out what im doing for atlanta. i dont think asking my parents is a good choice at this point so i have to figure something out. i over herd the cast talking about their rentals (their houses and shit) they are booking for atlanta and i barely understand that stuff so i have no idea what to do.

all i know is that legally i have to stay with an adult.

"you okay?" i hear lizzie ask i look up and realise we have arrived at school and i was zoned out

"uh y-yeah fine just thinking" i smile

"if you cant go in today its fine i can take you back, if you wanted to stay at mine for the day go to set or go home its okay" she assures me

"uh no im alright" i give her a small smile

"okay well go learn something"

"ill try"

"hey" i hear a voice come up beside me i look up from my shoes to see dahlia smiling at me

"hi" i smile back

"wa'd you do to your lip" (what did) dahlia asks noticing it was busted.

"oh um just dry and split i guess" i shrugged. she nods looking back down at her shoes. we talk for a bit waiting around for the bell. 

"y'know whats unfair?" she questions with a smirk

"what" i chuckle 

"my mate back in sydney got to meet sadie sink, gaten, and Priah" she tells me showing a photo she got sent 

"oh yeah their really nice" i comment she pauses 

"you know them don't you" she raises an eyebrow knowingly 

"well yeah, i played one of the kids in filming the new season, before i got the marvel job" i explain 

"of course" she smiles "i forget how famous you are" 

"im not that famous" 

the bell goes and we walk to class. fucking english bro. i wonder if we have a new teacher. 

I sit down wincing at the hard plastic. it was uncomfortable in such a hard chair i had only been on a couch bed and car seat so nothing hard yet. but it bloody stings 

"hello students I will be your substitute teacher until a replacement comes in. 2-3 weeks tops" a man explains. he had a creepy smile and a massive afro kinda reminded me of bob ross. "my name is mr trost but you can just call me sir" 

throughout the lesson my mind wonders more and more until i feel a tap on my shoulder behind me. i spin around to see elijah and tory sitting behind us

"can we join your group?" they questioned. dahlia nodded and i was confused. while they were moving their chairs to come sit at the other side of our table i turned to dahlia. 

"what group" i ask and she smirks and rolls her eyes

"do you know what we're even doing y/n/n" she smiles 

"more or less" y/n "but just tell me so i know you know what we are doing" dahlia explains the task as the others settle in. 

i do help and provide input however my mind often wondered off day dreaming or just over thinking. 

i feel a foot gently nudge mine and look over to see dahlia looking at me with a puzzled expression. looking almost worried. 

i look back at her just as confused but then the teacher talks again. 

"alrighty folks times up. pack up your stuff and wait standing behind your desks" he says clapping his hands together 

3rd person pov

dahlia and y/n sit down outside this time sharing an earpod listening to lana del rey. y/n shifted in her spot every once and a while. before eventually laying on her stomach using her arms as a pillow 

dahlia had noticed y/n was acting off all day but didnt know what to say or do so she subtly tried to help her as whatever she was thinking about was either serious or out of control. she had noticed the actresses leg bouncing in class or how she kept rubbing the skin of her palm. small things like that 

"this song is it" y/n says referring to the song video games. dahlia hummed in agreement drinking a bit of her water. 

they talk and one thing leads to another and the two end up talking about some real deep shit and issues. they talked about school systems, to controversial arguments all of it. then the pair were discussing different episodes of the magic school bus. 

time skip towards the end of the day 

"fuck" y/n groans when her inability to walk in a straight line causes her to run straight into a pole. at first dahlia laughs before making sure she was alright. 

"careful mate" she chuckles holding y/ns shoulders as the actress holds her hands to her head. "you alright" 

"mmhm" y/n mumbles leaning her head on dahlias shoulder. 

"do you want ice or something" 

"im fine" y/n insists standing up straight again. 

they walk into their last class of the day hpe. today was a theory lesson thankfully. the class was studding nutrition and stuff. with the whole food wheel. 

"when we were kids, at some random time of the year the class was shoved into a unnessasarly cold van that i faintly remember to be blue as we got taught this shit by a talking giraffe puppet" dahlia adds casually writing down the stuff on the board. at first i thinks she joking "he taught us about drugs to"

"and did the giraffe have a name" 

"yep healthy harold" she grins 

"oh i thought you were joking" i admit "that sounds weird" dahlia just laughs and shrugs.
