Hello everyone I hope you are okay. I know it was a long time since I last updated but I was really busy with exams. I hope you will love this chapter.

Enjoy!

*********

Who would have predicted that a trip on a private jet to Russia would be that exciting? Anna thought to herself as she sat comfortably on the beige leather seats. Maybe acting as a rich girl wouldn't be that bad after all. The hostess of her trip came Anna's way with a big bouquet of roses in her hands.

"Those are for you, Miss." The woman in her late twenties said respectfully.

Anna smiled at her and accepted the flowers. She waited until the woman took her leave to inspect them. They were a beautiful collection of white roses with a hint of pink on the tip of their petals. Anna brought them to inhale their divine scent. A piece of paper fell and caught Anna's attention, she put the bouquet on the coffee table in front of her and unfolded the paper to read what Witten inside.

*Even if the sky falls over or the stars dims forever, I will make you mine once again Anna. Just you wait and see. Have a safe trip*

Hunter.

Anna felt her heartbeats quicken at the words. She doesn't know what to make out of them. It was the first time Hunter contacted her after the last meeting with the Don. She was sure he forgot about her, but now with his words, it seemed she was wrong. Anna read the words once again, then folded the paper and kept it in her purse.

Now it was time she enjoyed herself and focused on the mission. Her affair with Hunter could wait until he made a move. She went to the small kitchen and grabbed a vase from one of the cabinets, filled it with water and put the flowers in it.

Anna retook her seat and closed her eyes. She needed to relax in silence before the real chaos start.

*************

After a trip that lasted nearly ten hours, the private jet landed on the Russian lands. Anna took a deep breath and unclasped her seatbelt. Her designed bodyguard bowed his head and spoke formally.

"This way Miss. Sanders."

Anna followed him down the jet's steps and to the fresh air. The cold wind greeted Anna and flipped her dark hair in different directions. She harried along with her bodyguard to a shiny black limousine. Anna felt her jaw drop at the black cars lining before her. She turned around and spoke to the guard beside her.

"What's your name?"

"Pardon me Miss?" the guard said in confusion.

"I think my question was clear, so you better answer me," Anna spoke forcefully.

Surprisingly her tone made the guard bid her command.

"My name is Scott, Miss."

"Nice to meet you Scott, but I need to know, is all these cars necessary?"

"It's not my call, Miss. Those are the orders, and I am merely following them."

Anna just nodded her head and started walking again. They just needed to make a statement about their wealth and power. A show of her arrival at the school so she can grab everyone's attention. Scott opened the back seat's door and waited for her to enter to close the door. Anna sank in the comfortable seat and watched through the window the scenery blurring in front of her eyes.

The drive from the airport to the school didn't take much time, and within 20 minutes she found herself in front of a majestic building. As expected, it took them a few minutes to finish the usual protocols that were unnecessary in Anna's opinion.

If Anna thought before that the exterior of the school was majestic, she would never have thought that the interior would be that magnificent. She felt her eyes pop out as they drove along the cement pavement. Students with their uniforms roamed around the school grounds. They were talking and laughing like there is no tomorrow. She noticed a basketball playground and another one for football, volleyball, and even a special area for golf. Rich people, Anna shook her head at the thought. Moments later, they came to a halt in front of two large doors.

"We are here Miss. Sanders. We will go when you are ready." The driver spoke.

Anna took another deep breath, a habit she developed with all the stress she was facing these last months. She schooled her features and wore a neutral expression. Form this day on, she was Helena Ivanov, the brat from Ukraine who her parents sent her here to study. Scott opened the door for her and led the way to the waiting-woman for them.

"Welcome to our school, Miss. Ivanov, we are happy to have you with us this year." The woman said with a genuine smile on her face.

"We will see if you will still happy by the end of this year," Anna said flippantly and brushed past the woman to make her way inside.

Scott felt his jaw drop at the display in front of him and hurried to catch up with Anna.

"I am your guide today, and I will give you a tour around the school." The woman managed to say as she walked-ran to catch with Anna.

"I have a map of this place, and I wish to be left alone. I need to rest. As you know, I had a very long trip today." Anna said rudely.

"Sorry Miss, but this is a part of the rules here. Every new student had to take a tour to get used to his surroundings and........"

Anna interrupted her mid-sentence and spoke in a mocking voice.

"Do I look like someone who cares about rules? Now, may you please move from my way and let me have a peaceful rest."

"Like you wish Miss. But so you know, I will report your behaviour to the headmaster, and he will deal with you." the woman's pleasant tone changed to a stern one.

Once again Anna swore that Scott's jaw will touch the ground any minute as she rolled her eyes and made her way down the hall and to the ward, where she knew she would find the girl's dormitory. She heard Scott's heavy footsteps behind her which meant the man was carrying her bags. She walked to the end of the corridor then took a turn to the right. She stopped in front of the door with the number 94. She turned the knob and entered. Scott who was hot on her heels rested the bags at the entrance of the door.

"Here are your bags Miss, I will take my leave now. I am not allowed to stay out of your door. But if you need anything at any time, just call me, I am five minutes away."

"Okay, thank you, Scott," Anna said gently.

The man looked at her strangely. He shook his head and walked away. He didn't understand the mechanisms of that family. They are all bipolar. One minute she is rude and insufferable, and another minute she becomes gentle and respectful.

Anna sensed the man's confusion and couldn't help but smile. She couldn't bring herself to be mean to him. After all, he would be with her all the time, and she needs to be nice to him. She closed the door and took in her new room. The room was large with two queen-sized beds at each side. The bed on the right side was covered with pale pink drapes with a mountain of fluffy pillows and stuff animals taking the majority of the bed's space. Even the desk and the laptop on top of it were pink. Anna cringed in dismay. It seemed that her roommate was a little bit girly for Anna's liking. Anna sighed and proceeded to unpack. She was tired and time difference will surely have a toll on her, but she had better organize her room first.

Twenty minutes later, Anna stood with her hands on her hips to observe her work. She smiled in satisfaction and plopped down on her new comfortable bed. She sighed in bliss and closed her eyes to rest.

Unfortunately, her moment of peace didn't last long as the door to her room opened and a loud singing echoed through the room. Anna opened her eyes and groaned in annoyance. Upon hearing her, the blonde girl in a tight bright pink dress with white high heels clasped her hands over her mouth.

"Sorry for disturbing you, I didn't know my roommate would arrive today."

"It is okay. By the way, I am Helena. Helena Ivanov." Anna smiled tightly.

"Hello Helena, I am Mary Stewart."

"Nice to meet you, Mary. I hope we will spend a good time together."

"I hope so. Don't mind me Helena and rest well. I am here just for changing my clothes. I won't be back until late." The girl said then disappeared into her closet.

Anna dropped her head on the pillow with a grunt. She can't believe her luck, why didn't she get a normal roommate, or even better a brooding and silent one. But no, she got a lively one who appeared to be loud and chatty. She closed her eyes and went in a deep slumber. Now it was time for rest, and thinking would come later.

************

Anna stirred from her sleep and opened her eyes. She looked at the clock on her bedside table which showed her that it was 10 a.m. Anna rubbed her face to get rid of any drowsiness left in her system. But she immediately regretted it when her eyes observed her room that was now covered in Hunter's photos. She blinked twice and looked again, but apparently, her eyes weren't deceiving her and somewhat her room turned to Hunter's photos album.

Anna sat upright on her bed and took another look around her room and discovered that the pictures didn't consist of Hunter's alone, but there were others of Ethan, Nicholas, and even Lillian. This time she saw the responsible for that transformation in the form of her roommate standing on a chair and hanging picture after picture of the Salviatti boys.

"What on earth is happening here?" Anna asked as she got up from the bed and made her way towards Mary.

"Don't you know who is coming tomorrow?" Mary gasped in shock as if she couldn't believe that her roommate was clueless about the important event taking place tomorrow.

"No," Anna answered a bit uncertain at the offended look that crossed Mary's face.

"The Salviatti boys are attending that school this year. We need to prepare for their arrival."

"and why should we prepare for them? Are they royalty or something?"

Anna swore that Mary would faint at any moment.

"Are you crazy girl? Or are you just stupid?"

"Well, no and no," Anna answered.

"Okay, the Salviatti boys are more important than royalty. I waited to see Hunter Salviatti face to face all my life. I always follow his news on the media." Mary said dreamily, and then she turned her attention to Anna, who was standing dumbfounded in the middle of the room. "You don't know him?"

"No, it's the first time I heard about him." Anna lied smoothly.

"oh no, you just lost half your life. Poor girl." Mary spoke seriously. It was the first time Anna saw her that serious, and to think that it was about Hunter was strange. "Don't worry, I will fill you on everything about him, and maybe you will decide to join our fans club." Mary patted Anna on the back in a comforting gesture.

Without another word, Mary turned to her so important task. Anna watched her as she hung other pictures, and she would squeal 'he is so handsome' from time to time.

Anna shook her head and sighed. Even here, Hunter was following her and what's more frustrating, he has freaking fun girls.

A loud grumble from her stomach brought Anna back to reality, and she realised that she didn't eat anything since her meal on the plane last night. She changed from her pajamas and went to the cafeteria.

*************

The room they call the cafeteria in that place was huge, really huge that someone could lose his way easily especially that it was partially empty. Anna grabbed a tray and filled it with different types of food. She found an empty table by the window and took a seat. She gazed at the beautiful scenery before her eyes and felt a sense of calmness enveloping her.

"Aren't you planning to eat the mountain of food on your tray?" Anna heard a husky voice talking to her.

She tore her eyes from the window and looked up to be met with a boy her age with bright hazel eyes staring at her.

"Excuse me, are you talking with me?" Anna asked and scanned the room to see if there was anyone else sitting near her.

"Of course I am talking to you. Do you see any other beauty in this place?" he asked with a smirk on his face.

"Huh?"

"You are beautiful, but maybe a tad stupid. I meant I talk only to beautiful girls." He spoke arrogantly.

"Really? So how about you leave me alone and search for another girl who is prettier than me, and maybe a tad intelligent." Anna shot back.

The annoying boy let out a throaty laugh and shook his head.

"I like you. By the way, I am Alex Giroux." He extended his hand towards Anna.

When he said his name Anna notice a slight accent in his voice. It wasn't Russian because it was lighter than Mary, but it was there maybe French or Italian. Anna ignored his gesture and said coldly.

"Well, I don't like you. And by the way, I am Helena Ivanov."

He gave her a cute smile and sat on the chair facing her.

"I don't remember I invited you to join me," Anna said in exasperation, Alex's actions were driving her mad.

"I love the view from here, and I won't disturb you, I promise."

When Anna didn't respond and just stared at him with her arms crossed over her chest, he sighed and stood up.

"well, I suggest you eat your food before it gets cold, and don't get too comfy because we will meet again." He gave Anna a wink and took his leave.

Anna felt her appetite gone and with heavy heart shoved few bits down her throat to satisfy her growling tummy.

**************

Anna spent the rest of the day in her room and was grateful that Mary didn't disturb her. But she can't say the same thing about that Alex boy. Why did he come and speak with her? Why her? He didn't meet her before but was he at ease with her like they knew each other for years.

He was just flirting with you, don't be that paranoid. Your stay with the Salviatti family made you suspicious of everyone.

Anna shook her head and willed herself to agree with her conscience. She was right, the boy was good looking and was just hitting on her, nothing more, and nothing less.

Anna was brought from her thoughts when Mary barged in squealing in delight.

"They are here! They are here! Come on you need to come with me." Mary yelled as she dragged unsuspecting Anna with her.

"Just wait for a second, who is here?" Anna managed to stop her and put some shoes on.

"Hunter is here, they just entered the school grounds. We need to hurry because I want to stand at the front."

"Weren't they supposed to come here tomorrow? Why are they here early?"

"I don't know, what's important is they are in here. I can't believe it. There is nothing, and I mean nothing that can drop my mood."

Silently, Anna followed the crazy chick beside her. Mary without a problem pushed through the crowd and was successful in arriving at the front.

Anna stood beside Mary and watched as numerous black cars pulled in front of the door. Hunter was the first to descend from the car followed by Lillian, Nicholas, and Aiden. Anna can't help but smile when she saw Aiden. He sent a wink her way and continued walking. She felt Hunter's eyes on her and dared to look at him. His cold blue eyes were boring into her soul. Anna couldn't bring herself to decipher his look, she felt uncomfortable to keep eye contact. She diverted her attention to Mary who was standing next to her gawking at the boys with a dreamy look on her face.

After the unnecessary greeting, Anna returned to her room and opened her phone to find a message from Lillian.

"Put your earpiece on. We need to discuss Sunday's plans."

Anna took her backpack and went to the bathroom. She made sure the door was closed and took the little package. Carefully she placed the invisible device in her ear. To her surprise, she didn't feel any discomfort, and it was as if she had nothing in her ear.

She nearly jumped when Lillian's voice boomed through her ears. Anna cringed and instantly fixed the volume.

"Are you okay Anna?"

"Yes." Came Anna's curt response.

Lillian sighed on the other end and spoke again. It seemed that Anna was still mad at her and was giving her cold treatment.

"Okay, so on Sunday, you need to create your first problem. I did my research, and I found you a nice target. Anya Green, she is an intern from England. She is the nerd of school, so it will be easy to pick on her. Remember do something that will lead you to the principal's office. Am I clear?"

"No, you are not. Don't you ever expect me to pick on those who are weaker than me. Find me another target." Anna said strongly.

"Anna, it took me two weeks to find her. I can't redo the work once again. Just deal with it." Lillian said through her teeth.

"Look, Lillian, I am the one doing the work and executing your plans. So let's be clear I am the one who will choose how to do the work. Find me another target." Anna said firmly.

********

Lillian took off the earpiece and threw it angrily on the coffee table.

"What's up?" Aiden said while munching on an apple.

"Working with your sister will be impossible if she continues with that attitude."

"And why is that?" Nicholas asked.

"She is a stubborn girl and would drive me crazy before this mission is over. She wasn't very thrilled with the idea of bullying someone weaker than her. And she expressed her displeasure by refusing to follow the plan. How can I find a new target in one day?"

Hunter, who was silently watching his cousins argue moved from his position against the wall and walked to where Lilian was sitting and ordered:

"Here, give me the earpiece." He held his hand out.

Lilian hesitated for a moment at seeing the angry look on Hunter's face and tried to convince him to let her deal with Anna, but another look to his cold as ice-blue eyes made her change her mind.

"Oh boy, he is fuming, God has mercy on his next victim," Eric said with his hands held in a praying motion.

"do you realise that his next victim is my sister?" Aiden asked worriedly.

"He won't hurt her," Lilian said with conviction in her voice.

In his room, Hunter contemplated the course of actions he will take. Anna needs to understand that in their world the orders were unnegotiable and to be followed without second thoughts.

He grabbed the earpiece and contacted her, but after three failed attempts, he cursed under his breath and grabbed his phone. He dialed her number, and after the second ring, she picked up.

"Hello, who is there?" Anna's angelic voice came through the phone.

Hunter closed his eyes and couldn't picture himself carrying on with the harsh conversation he planned before.

"Who are you? I am going to hung-up if you don't respond." Anna's voice sounded irritated.

Hunter couldn't help but smirk at her reaction. She was really innocent and unfitting for his dark world. But since she was already involved, it was okay to expose her more. Because to succeed in the mafia, you need to embrace the dark surrounding you.

"Hi, it's Hunter."

As expected Anna was shocked and her surprised gasp confirmed it.

"what do you need? If it is mission-related, you should have contacted me on the earpiece. It is our way of communication. There is no need for you to call me." Anna said bravely, but her bravado vanished when she heard the unamused chuckle Hunter let out.
