《Earl Grey x Reader》Book of Murder: Party

//can't believe I have 500 reads...//
The carriage stopped, meaning we had arrived, I peeked outside and it was raining like cats and dogs. Grey stepped out first, unfolding an umbrella, and out went Georg. He helped me out, though seem annoyed that he has to protect the German fellow, oh well...he's going to die tonight anyway.
"Guess you're still a servant~" I teased, as we walked to the roofed porch my black umbrella closing shut with some water dropping on the ground. Grey turned away from me, and I smiled, heading to the door. When we knocked, a maid greeted us, she seemed to be nervous as she let us in.

"Pardon me, young master...but the guest of honor has arrived." Mey-rin interrupted, before leaving the vicinity. Ciel's gaze turns to the late guests at the door and so did the others. They approach the young earl as Georg greets him.
"A pleasure to meet you, my lord, Georg von Siemens, at your service, I thank you for your kind invitation." He says solemnly.
Grey waves, "Hello~ All set for a capital party, eh?"
"Good evening, Ciel~" (Y/N) chirps, doing a peace sign, but she glares at him warily.
"You must've come a long way." Ciel starts, holding out a hand,"I am so happy you could make it, I'm Ciel, Earl Phantomhive." He finishes, as they shook hands.
He suggests that they should head to the dining hall, as they have been feeling peckish. (Y/N) leans closer to Ciel, "Fancy, you've really grown so much..." She whispers, before siding with Grey again. The party seemed to host other guest, and one of them was a scapegoat.
Woodley, Lau and Ran Mao, Phelps, Irene and Grimsby and someone else, though she couldn't be bothered to know, but he seemed like an important person in relation to where she think the party was going. She glances back at Grey, sighing...then turned to a chair and sat down.
"Lady (Y/N), would you care for a pastry?" Asked the butler dressed in black, appearing suddenly a tower of donuts in hand. Her eyes gleamed as she grabbed one and took a bite, savoring the taste.
"It's delicious~ I'm guessing that Ciel has a sweet tooth, no?--" (Y/N) says, while grabbing another donut.
"A soul so sweet with such a bitter past..." She mutters, only the butler hears her, as she smiles while getting another donut.
"Bittersweet," (Y/N) points out the dark chocolate pastry.
A giggle escapes from her mouth, "You know, you haven't told me your name, have you? I forgot."

"A noble wants the name of a lowly-servant?"
"..."She goes quiet.
"The young master calls me, Sebastian."
"Aww, so you're not Alfred?"
"A what?"
"Nothing! Nothing!"

"This behavior is unbelievable, I detest! Keep your hands of me!" yelled Irene, backing away from a flushed Georg, who seemed to just continue his ministrations.
"But dear, I can't help it, for what you are wearing is urging me!"
He seemed serious too...oh well, goodbye.
"Someone stop him! He's out of control!"
Irene is back in Georg's dirty grasp as she struggles to get away, successfully slapping him away though. This only angered him further.
"You should be ashamed! You vile cod!"
"How dare you speak to me like that, Strumpet!" Georg shouts, grabbing a glass of white wine and aiming it to her.
Though both Ciel and I rushed up to block, with us being splashed instead, Everyone froze for a second as two of the Queen's pets have been hit.
"Please, This is a party, for the sake of our guests, we ask you to step away--"
"You disgusting old codger! I'll teach you what to touch what doesn't belong to you!" Grimsby charges with a champagne bottle, throwing it at the senile before Sebastian caught it. I sigh at this drama, before grabbing the 17th donut I will be eating. It appeared the he has set up a champagne tower.
Ciel and I walked to the side to dry off, Sebastian magically having towels for us to dry with.
As I gladly took a towel to dry, I heard Ciel and Sebastian speaking French, I didn't understand the whole conversation but some words gave me context clues.
"I'd say he's suffering a disease that no doctor could cure." I heard, then giggled, they looked at me as I swiped away a tear.
"I'd say he's unhinged~ Bakayarou." I chimed in, glaring at Georg who is once again, drunk as bloody hell. I was dry now, so I left the master and servant duo alone and went to Grey, who has been taking his alcohol pretty well...with the mountain of glasses in front of them.
----------
11pm.
"Oh dear, our honored guest has fallen asleep," Grey says, as Georg von Siemens was snoring away in his chair.
"It certainly seems that way..."Phelps commented.
I was still sitting next to Grey, my twintails being undone as they rested on my back. Doodling away with charcoal on paper, I was drawing Kou Mukami, a person that I keep seeing in my dreams.

"Sebastian, go help him, he'll be more comfortable in his bed than in that chair," said Ciel as he yawned.
"It's also time for me to retire as well."
"Aw, You're leaving us already, my lord?"
"Why yes, I'm afraid it is bedtime for children like me, do please enjoy the party for as long as you wish," He stated before heading out the door.
Seeing that Grey was staring down the door that the host went through, certainly I knew something was happening soon.
"A game of billiards anyone?" Grimsby asked as we headed to the billiards room.
I sit down next to the Miss Irene since I wasn't playing anyway, she turns to me, surprised.
"Oh, Lady Ladelle, you aren't playing?"
"Hmm? No, I'm pretty busy with my sketch over here..."
"My, it's very pretty, who is that supposed to be?"
I take a moment to think, before replying with, "Just the person of my dreams, of course~" continuing with a giggle, it was sure a tease to Grey who heard everything.
A couple rounds pass until we heard a commotion down the hall, the producer of the sound was the maid shouting at the door to Georg's room. That was so sudden... and in a short period of time.
"Why are you harassing that door? What's the fuss about?"
I stood closer to the door as the butler knocked it down, only for the still body of our guest of honor. Everyone had a surprised look on their face as I commented darkly about it,
"He really went to sleep, eh?"
Everyone was now babbling about, discussing on how the murder happened, odd, since I smelt no trace of blood. Then we had to give our alibis, mine was covered since I was in the billiards room with the others. Karl and Woodley were in the drawing room...only leaving Ciel without an alibi.
Looking at him, he stared back, meaning that he wasn't worried but to stay wary. They looked at Ciel, with the butler not doing anything, I stay quiet.
-------------
"W-wait what?" I gasp as the butler assigned us rooms. Since Georg von Siemens was murdered unexpectedly, they couldn't accommodate another room.
And I shared one with Earl Grey.
STUPID EX MACHINA...WHY!?
"I see no problem, come on (Y/N)," said Charles as he dragged me inside the room, my stomach had butterflies flapping around aggressively, his hand touching mine, I was going to explode. At least Aoquia wasn't here...the author probably forgot.
I set down my luggage next to my side of the bed and lit the small lamp on the bedside table, getting a loose night dress, I head to the bathroom, closing the door as Grey sat on the bed, bored.
I finally took off my corset, gasping as I untie it bit by bit, my skin being able to breathe again, the skirt fell limp on the floor and I was in a white long-sleeved shirt. Taking off that shirt I put on the loose night dress that barely covers my knees and set aside the clothes I've worn before.
The mirror reflected on my figure, the dress fit nice and it complemented my black hair. Soon I found myself gazing at my own eyes, being lost in the purple hues.
--"(Y/N), You finished yet?" Grey interrupted, peeking through the door.
"Um.." How long was I staring at myself? No matter, I looked cute. "Yeah, I'm coming," I said, before leaving the bathroom.
He rolled his eyes, "Took you long enough, from what I saw you were just looking at yourself like the evil queen in Snow White ." I gasp, flicking his forehead,"Hey! What the hell was that for?" He flinched in slight pain.
"YOU'RE the narcissistic one here!" I commented, pointing an accusing finger at him, he glared at me, but only half-heartedly, maybe because he's tired.
A yawn escaped from my mouth, indicating that I was also hitting the hay, As I approached the bed, Grey plopped down on the bed and pulled me with him, causing me to fall on his body.
"You can't be falling for me now, (Y/N)~ There's still a murderer in the mansion," He teased, my cheeks turned to a rosy color while I tried to get off him, only to flip our positions so now he was the one on top.
"Agh! Get off me!" I shouted, my cheeks now probably red, good thing the room was dimly lit, he was probably smirking his butt off.
"Nope~" Grey says, pinning me down, a smirk evident from the aura of the room, what was he going to do--
He leaned down next to the crook of my neck, his hot breath on my skin, I was left a blushing mess.
"C-Charles..."
"Hmm, yes?"
"I have an urge to suffocate you till you die from asphyxiation, honestly...why are you...Ack! And in this situation too!" I huffed, covering my face with my hands.
"Is the almighty (Y/N) flustered?"
"N-no!"
Why did I stammer!?
He didn't bother to say anything, but I know damn well that he was smirking. I felt him roll off and stay just beside me and before I knew it, everything went black.
~~~
I awoke to the sound of the door creaking open.
The Hand of Sigmar. A Warhammer Fiction.
Adebar von Bolstedt was a normal young Aristocrat once. When confronted about his presence he claims to be led by the God-King Sigmar, but with the name of the Protector of Mankind come his responsiblities. Soon Adebar finds himself tasked with ridding a town of a mad killer, and settling some lethal family quarrels.Word from the AuthorGreetings! The Hand of Sigmar plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). Depending on how this does and my time allows more adventures may be coming.While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
