《Fire & Ice - A Draco Malfoy fanfiction》Q&A (temporary chapter)

Hi everyone!

This is not a chapter like usual (although today's chapter is already up), but a little Q&A! I know there are quite a few of you who check out the new chapter daily and I love that so much! I always check the comments a few hours after I posted the chapter and it's so nice to see the same people return every time.

With that said, I'd like to get to know you people! How, you might ask? Well, I thought it'd be fun to do an interactive Q&A so you can get to know me and each other and I can get to know you. I'll be answering some Q&A questions that you've sent in via Wattpad and answer them. Please answer the question yourself as well in the comments, so we can get to know each other, jeey :D

I will delete this chapter in a few days, as this is directed to the real stans, my ride and die bitches, so get it moving y'all! Let's gooo.

Hi, I'm Hanne, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Belgium (Dutch-speaking part).

I'm a proud Ravenclaw! I do have quite a few Slytherin tendencies, but I'm mostly Ravenclaw. How about y'all?

I started writing stories from the moment I could write. At age 6, I had created my first book lmao. Ten whole pages with about 5 sentences on each page and a beautiful drawing of course ... I wrote a LOT from the ages 8-11, all by hand and very cringy :D. I joined Wattpad when I was 14 and have been posting content on here ver since (deleted a lot though).

The first book I ever put on Wattpad was a Dutch one when I was 14. It was a continuation of The Hunger Games, called The Capitol Games (not original at all, I know) and told the story of a Capitol girl having to enter that last Hunger Games for Capitol kids situation after the war. It's still on my channel as a reminder of how much I've grown, but it's absolutely terrible hehe. You probably can't read it anyway, because it's in Dutch. After that I got into cover making, Wattpad community contests, some imagines and some cringy teenfics and a The Maze Runner fanfiction. I only got into Harry Potter fanfiction when I was 16.

I'm a Taurus! My birthday is the 17th of May. I'm not into zodiac signs at all, so please if you are, tell me what the personality traits of a taurus are and I'll tell you if they apply to me or not. I'm not a huge fan of the sign ... a freaking bull ... Anyway, what's yours?

Oh so many ... It's a part-time job lmao. Fred Weasley is my number one. I want to marry him, have his children and grow old together. Just ... *chef's kiss*. In second place comes the bully that this fanfic is written about. I can't tell you why, but well, y'all are reading this too, so why??? We also have a third place, which is reserved for Oliver Wood. Don't know why because he's got 4 minutes of screen time but ... DJFKLDLS THE ACCENT. Anyway. If we also take the Fantastic Beasts series into account, Newt can join this list as well.

I can't decide! It's either a Niffler (because they're cute) or a Phoenix (because they're dope). Idk which one's my favourite tbh.

That's a very tough question, as I have SO MANY. In my mind, I'm married to about twenty men and probably some women too. I generally identify as straight, but women are beautiful, so can't help but pick up a few celebrity crushes from time to time. To name a few: Thomas Brodie-Sangster (my no. 1 bitch), Erin McDonald, Moose from StepUp, Cian Ducrot, Timothee Chalamet, Tom Holland, Emma Watson (technically HP too oops) and IBE, a Belgian artist.

Lmao I'm not at all and edgy emo queen, I'm very average, but I LOVE alternative, indie and emo rock. Not because of the vibe and aesthetic, but genuinely for the music. Some of my favourite bands are the Neon Trees, Arctic Monkeys, Paramore, Panic! At The Disco, The Wombats and The Kooks.

I mainly write fanfiction, because I have a WILD imagination. When I develop a celebrity crush, I have our entire relationship planned out in my head lmao. From the way we meet to the ups and downs and the names of our children. I always quite liked adding to that imaginary reality and one day I decided to write it down. Next thing I know, I had 100 pages written in Google Docs, so I turned it into a book and look at that, Filthy Little Secret was born. I did the same for Oi Homeschooled. Captain was more to continue writing and because I enjoy writing fanfics, same for this one. They're not as detailed in my head as in the chapters I post, but I write them all down and add to them for you guys, so you can enjoy my weird brain creations.

So many things! TikTok POV's, Pinterest, the books and films and most of all, your comments! Seeing how you all are so invested into the story really motivates me to put out good material and to put effort into it. I also judge my success on the amount of comments, which is less good. In my mind, a lot of comments means a good chapter, not a lot of comments means a bad chapter. It's not very healthy to think like that, but it does line up quite correctly. Let's motivate each other, shall we? What inspires YOU to write?

Writing is a very subjective and therefore difficult to give advice on, but the thing I always say is: play it out in your head. Make sure it feels natural before your write it down. When writing it's easy to start over-romanticizing situations, making them feel unnatural. Try to play every scene and dialogue out in your head as if you're the main character. What would a natural reaction be? What gestures are you using, what do you feel? First act it out, then write it down.

I have not yet decided! It will probably be a happy one because I feel like Draco and Eleanor have gone through enough shit in their lives (there's more to come lmao) and they deserve a lil happiness too. Not everyone is going to get a happy ending, though. (AND NO FRED DOES NOT DIE, NOT EVER!) If we all support the idea of Fred not dying, then it's canon. Who's going to stop us? J.K. Rowling? LMAO.

A looooong ass time haha. I usually spend about 2 hours on writing one chapter and then another 10-20 minutes on proofreading, editing and uploading it. So that's why I need a break once in a while haha. I like to put out quality content for you guys, so I don't mind it taking so long, but I sometimes struggle to find that time every day. I'm not a very fast writer, my chapters are 1800-3000 words for reference. How long does it take you to write? I'm curious.

I never really took that very seriously, but recently I've been thinking of actually trying to write some fiction and trying to get it published. The difficult thing is that I prefer writing in English, but I live in Belgium, so publishing an English novel in a Dutch/French speaking country is a little bit difficult ... If you have any good plot ideas for a good fiction novel, please let me know!

If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to drop them here and I'll answer them in a comment! I look forward to reading your answers to the questions :)

Thank you all so much for reading my story and supporting it! It means so much to me and is a huge motivation. See you tomorrow! ♥
