It was Saturday. Everyone was staying in the dorms or training on UA grounds. The majority of the students were hanging out in the common area, watching tv or chatting together.

Izuku was writing analyses about all the quirks he had discovered these past few days. The omega was laying on one of the sofa of the lounge, his notebook in his hands and his head on Katsuki's lap.

Meanwhile, Katsuki was gently running his hand through Izuku's soft green curls while watching the news passing on the tv. He could hear some of the omega's mutters about what he was writing and was finding it absolutely adorable... not that he would ever say it aloud.

Some of their classmate were giving them some glances, but they had learned not to question Katsuki and Izuku's ambiguous relationship anymore. The two childhood friends were incredibly close, that was all.

Izuku let out a soft hum as Katsuki kept playing with his dark green locks. The omega was by nature really cuddly and he loved all the attention Katsuki was giving him. He actually enjoyed the alpha's gentle touches so much that he couldn't help the purr that started to rumble out of his chest.

Katsuki stopped combing Izuku's hair as soon as he heard the purr while Izuku's emerald eyes instantly widened, fear promptly taking over the omega when he realised what he had just done...

"Was that a purr?" Yaoyorozu, who was sitting on the sofa next to them, asked.

Her question caused Izuku's heart to jump inside his chest. Panic washed over the omega, intense fear making his heart dangerously race...

Only omegas knew how to purr.

"The fuck it was." Katsuki suddenly growled. "You better shut the hell up and stop saying such bullshits." He rudely told Yaoyorozu, the threat in his tone barely concealed.

Yaoyorozu immediately stopped talking and lowered her eyes. Even if she was an alpha herself, she knew better than to defy an alpha as dominant and unpredictable as Katsuki. The other classmates that had also assisted to the scene didn't dare say anything either, all of them too scared to anger Katsuki further.

Izuku was grateful for Katsuki's intervention, but the atmosphere had now turned quite awkward. The omega didn't feel comfortable staying here anymore so he decided to leave the lounge to get some air.

"I'm going to find some food..." He told Katsuki before standing up and heading toward the kitchen.

"I'm coming with you!" Mina unexpectedly exclaimed as she hurried to follow Izuku. They both walked to the kitchen and entered, Izuku immediately heading toward the fridge. The omega wanted a glass of milk; it always had the effect to calm him down.

"Bakugou is really protective of you, hm?" Mina said as she watched Izuku take a glass out of one of the cupboard of the kitchen. She had seen how Katsuki had instantly bared his fangs to defend Izuku just moments ago. It was rather impressive to assist to.

"Yes, sorry about his bad tempter..." Izuku sheepishly apologised.

The omega was used to Katsuki's explosive behaviour but even he had to admit that the blond alpha had reacted quite out of proportion. Katsuki had been really rude to Yaoyorozu. Actually, Katsuki was always rude to anyone... anyone but Izuku.

If he was being honest, Izuku really liked knowing Katsuki only was nice to him...

"Don't worry, it was fun to watch!" Mina replied with an amused chuckle. "But I have to ask, are you really not together?" She then asked, her whole behaviour becoming more serious as she expectantly waited for Izuku's answer.

Izuku had stopped to count how many time people had asked him this question. He could understand why, though. Katsuki and him were really close...

Since the first time they had kissed, that is a few days ago, Katsuki had continued to kiss Izuku when no-one could see them. The alpha would randomly grab Izuku's chin and press their lips together, before continuing what he was previously doing as if nothing had happened.

It was quite confusing for Izuku, but the omega always found himself wondering about when Katsuki would kiss him next. He loved feeling Katsuki's lips on top of his.

But, were they together?

Except the now occasional kisses, nothing had changed. Katsuki's behaviour toward Izuku was the same as before. They also hadn't talked about what their relationship was at all. They hadn't even had one word about what had happened a few days ago and what the kisses meant...

"No, we're not." Izuku finally answered. Katsuki and him weren't together. They maybe acted like they were, but they weren't.

Mina hummed in response. "So, he's single?" She asked, what seemed like hope and expectation shining inside her yellow irises.

Izuku slightly frowned at the question. The omega wondered why Mina was asking him all of these questions. "Yes..." He hesitantly responded, before quickly adding. "Why?"

"Oh, just to know!" Mina easily replied. "You see, I'm kind of interested in him so I needed to be sure he wasn't already taken." She unexpectedly explained, her words causing Izuku's beautiful emerald eyes to widen.

"Hot tempered alphas have always been my style!" The pink skinned girl added with a giggle.

Izuku wasn't sure why, but he hated hearing her talk about Katsuki like that. He hated hearing Mina say she was interested in the blond alpha... his alpha.

His heart painfully clenched inside his chest and his stomach suddenly tightened. What had to be jealousy or anger slowly swelled inside him, emotions he didn't even know he could feel taking over him. For the first time ever, Izuku thought about hurting someone...

"Hey, Midoriya!"

The omega was suddenly nudged out of his possessive thoughts when he heard Kaminari call his name. He turned around and saw the blond beta heading toward him, Kirishima at his side.

"Hi!" Izuku greeted with a happy smile. During the last few days, he had learned to like Kaminari and Kirishima. They were both over friendly and really fun to be around. Izuku had quickly formed a friendship with them.

"Kaminari just got the new playstation's game everyone is going mad about!" Kirishima excitedly declared once they got to Izuku's sides.

"Really?!" The omega exclaimed, his big green eyes going wide with surprise and excitement.

"Yes! Wanna play with us?" Kaminari offered and Izuku didn't need to be asked twice. "Yes!" He immediately answered, a bright smile taking over his pretty features.

Both Kirishima and Kaminari stared at the stunning sight before their eyes. They clearly wouldn't mind giving Izuku absolutely anything he wanted if it meant they could see the omega's beautiful smile every day...

"Great, we're going to my room!" Kaminari said once he had recovered and Izuku almost jumped in excitement.

"I'm just telling Kacchan and I'm coming!" The omega declared. "Kacchan!" He hurried toward the lounge and practically ran into Katsuki. "I'm gonna play video games with Kaminari and Kirishima!" He told the blond alpha.

Katsuki frowned, not liking one bit how it meant Izuku would be alone with the two extras. However, he wasn't going to tell Izuku not to go. He could see how happy Izuku looked at the idea of playing with Kaminari and Kirishima.

So, Katsuki only nodded before adding just for good measure. "Call me if anything happens."

"Yes, don't worry!" Izuku replied before joining Kirishima and Kaminari. They headed toward the elevator and went to Kaminari's room.

Kaminari's room was full of random things. There was a dartboard, a basket ball resting somewhere on the floor, several caps hanging from one of the shelf, a framed t-shirt on the wall, books and files, lighting stickers... it was kind of a mess but Izuku really liked it.

Kirishima and Izuku sat on Kaminari's bed since there weren't any other place to sit while Kaminari installed the game on his playstation.

"Let's do one-on-one battles!" The beta eagerly exclaimed.

"Yes!" Kirishima immediately answered as Izuku excitedly nodded. They all couldn't wait to try the new game.

It was a fighting game. They had to chose their player and learn a series of combos to use.

Izuku was good at this kind of game. Since he had the habit to analyse everything, it came in handy in video games. The omega analysed how his opponent fought and then managed to guess what his next move would be so that he could counter him.

After only a few games, both Kaminari and Kirishima quickly realised they were no match to Izuku's skills.

"How come you're so good at this!" Kaminari whined as he once again lost against Izuku. It was the sixth time already and the blond beta didn't understand why he hadn't even won one time. He usually was good at video games but Izuku was incredible.

Who knew the omega would be this good at fighting games when he had the face of an angel...

Izuku cutely giggled at Kaminari's comment. The omega was enjoying himself a lot. It had been so long since he had last played video games with friends; it really was making him happy to be able to do this.

However, as he was about to reply to Kaminari, he suddenly felt burning warmth swell inside him.

His emerald eyes instantly widened in fear. His entire face went pale as he immediately understood that his heat was coming. He promptly looked at the door of Kaminari's room, panic washing over him.

He surely would have the time to reach it and get out of the room but, then, what? He would go into heat in the corridor, in the middle of the dorms where everyone could smell his arousing pheromones and see him...

That wasn't an option.

But staying here was also dangerous. Kirishima and Kaminari were there and they would see him go into heat. More importantly, Izuku would surely try to mate with them once he would be completely under the influence of his omegan instincts...

That wasn't an option either.

"Hey, are you okay?" Kirishima asked as he reached for Izuku's shoulder, but the unexpected touch made the omega abruptly flinch. He looked at Kirishima, his green eyes wide with fear and panic.

Izuku didn't know what to do. He already wasn't able to think effectively anymore. All the focus he had left was spent in trying to control his pheromones as much as he could, but it wouldn't matter as soon as he would completely go into heat.

"P-please, call Kacchan..." The omega managed to say between soft pants.

It was the only thing he could think about right now. He needed Katsuki.

"Bakugou? Why?" Kaminari asked but an especially painful wave of heat suddenly took over Izuku, causing the omega to let out a loud whimper and to curl up on himself. "P-please, it's urgent!" He whined as his whole body burned up.

The unconcealed pain in his voice was enough to convince both Kaminari and Kirishima that what was happening was serious. "Okay, I'm going!" Kaminari promptly stated. The beta started to hurry toward the door but Izuku unexpectedly stopped him.

"N-no, not you!" The omega exclaimed. "Kirishima is going." He said.

Since Kirishima was an alpha, staying alone with him would be dangerous. On the contrary, Kaminari was a beta so he was less likely to lose control over omega's pheromones. It was safer to stay with Kaminari than with Kirishima.

"Okay." Kirishima answered. He wasn't really understanding what was going on but if Izuku wanted him to go find Katsuki, of course he would do it.

Izuku closed his eyes as he clenched his stomach in pain. His entire body was heating up and his consciousness was slowly leaving him. It was only a matter of seconds before he would be completely gone...

"P-please, hurry..." He murmured between small whimpers.
