《Pandora's Gift》Chapter 36

Even Bakugou had to admit that watching the pink woman and the tall lanky black haired man just standing there blinking there large round eyes at the dark haired omega who was sitting comfortably on his couch smirking widely at her old classmates who were struggling to place the strange omega woman who apparently knew them. It was clear as day the two did not recognize the woman right away. Then again Bakugou probably would not have noticed either had it not been for Kirishima who was truly the one to remember her.

"It's Sakaki you bone heads," Bakugou growled after giving the two a solid minute and they still had not realized it. The surprise on their faces had the woman cackling up a storm as she sat on the couch. Mina was quick to rush to the girl nearly jumping around like an idiot.

"No way. Is it really Sakaki Shinzuko? And OMG you're an omega! Girl! Why did I not know?" Mina was off as she leaned over to pretty much smash the dark haired woman's head into her chest as she engulfed her in a hug. Which was when Kirishima and Sasara had walked into the living room each holding a bowl of chips.

"Ashido I can't breathe," she growled at the pink woman who was smothering her before she dropped her arms and took a step back.

"Okay one question at a time. Yes I am omega and I hid it the entire time we were at UA. Because high school was hard enough trying to be a hero I did not need my second gender to be an even bigger hindrance. I never told anyone willingly," she said simply trying to answer the questions that the other woman had asked.

"Awe I feel so betrayed I never knew, who all knows now?" Ashido asked seemingly a little hung up on this new information of her old friend.

"Well Kirishima and Bakugou knew since I've been stuck working with them. I'm sure lots of others have noticed I don't suppress as heavily as I used to. I still wear scent blockers on patrol to be safe. But I do not go out of my way to hide it anymore," she said simply with a shrug of her shoulders. She also did not flaunt being an omega hero. She was well aware of the stigma around how they were only good for rescue missions and the like. And that was not Sakaki's taste in work. She was also aware of the dangers of an unclaimed omega fighting villain's. One wrong move and she could find herself claimed by one. And after watching the complete hell it had put Sasara through it was not something she ever wished to experience.

"Well it is so good to see you again. It has been so long. Kiri said you have been working for Miruko. That must be nice working for such a top rank pro. But you have been with the guys now for what two or three weeks?" Mina was once again going off. Her hands waving around softly she always had been easily worked up. Add that to the woman's overly friendly nature and she was just going off with questions.

"I see you have not changed Ashido," the dark haired woman said, smiling softly at the pink woman. But also it was an easy way to avoid answering the barrage of questions. She watched as the woman pouted softly.

"You don't have to be so formal. We are old friends just call me Mina," she said pouting softly as the dark haired woman still called her by her last name. She always called people by their last names. The only exception was Sasara, she was the only person she called by their first name typically.

Luckily in that moment Sero had walked up to the pink woman and offered her a beer before offering the dark haired woman one as well. Which earned the man a thanks from them both. Now it was Sakaki's turn to smirk playfully at the pink haired woman.

"Enough about me. What about you? When were you gonna say anything about you and Sero?" Sakaki asked, smirking with a playful wiggle of her eyebrows which had both the pink haired woman and the tall lanky man blushing.

"It's not like that," the pink haired woman was oddly stuttering and blushing as if she could not go any more pink than she normally was. But even Sero was blushing. Sakaki struggled to contain her giggles as she watched the two standing in the living room each shifting from foot to foot embarrassed.

"Two can play at that game," Mina suddenly announced as she looked between Sakaki and Bakugou.

"When were we going to learn about you and Blasty?" The question from the woman nearly had Sakaki's beer end up shooting out her nose as she quickly started to cough as her eyes watered as her nose burned with the carbonation from the beer. Bakugou was even stunned for a moment. It took him over forty seconds before yelling was heard from the angry blonde.

Now it was Mina's turn to giggle as she gently pat the dark haired woman's back to help with her odd lingering cough. But at least it gave her a valid excuse to get up off of the couch to go wash her face, and try to blow the lingering beer out of her nose. It was her way of running away from the question as she listened to Bakugou continue to yell at Mina as she sat on the couch beside where Sakaki had been only moments ago.

Even once Sakaki had returned to the living room Mina was still a laughing idiot as Sero shook his head and Bakugou had given up on his yelling and had retreated to the armchair that sat alone between the two couches.

Spotting Sasara on the other couch curled up against Kirishima, Sakaki walked over to plop herself on the floor at the pale woman's feet. Deciding she would try to help keep her friend calm although Kirishima seemed to be doing a pretty decent job on that front. It also helped that Mina was not harassing the poor woman who was just trying to hide behind her large red headed boyfriend. Maybe Kirishima could act as a barrier for herself too.

Things seemed to settle down the second Sero got the game system going and the boys had their controllers in hand. Deciding currently it was best to play just two player games at the moment as neither Sasara or Sakaki could care less about playing, that then had Mina also caring less she was just as happy to chat with the other woman as the men took turns. So the guys just took their turns playing against each other.

It was not till another knock at the door that had Bakugou get up since he was not playing at the moment to let the last of their visitors in. Of course Kaminari's chipper voice was easy to hear as he barged into the house. It was his plus two that caught Sakaki's eyes as an all too familiar head of lavender hair came into view.

"Hitoshi," the dark haired woman called out a wide smile pulling at her lips as she drew the attention of everyone else as she greeted the tall lankier alpha. Of course her excitement surprised everyone but the two newcomers. Shinso just smirked lazily at the woman who was sitting on the ground in front of one couch with a beer in her hand, while Denki was quick to bound towards her pouting softly.

"Hey, what about me?" Denki asked, his bottom lip sticking out.

"And a hello to you to Kaminari," she greeted but the electric blonde only proceeded to stick his bottom lip out even further.

"That's not fair you called Shinso by his first name. I want to be greeted the same way," the blonde said as he continued to pout.

"Fine. Hello Denki," she said with a roll of her eyes at the blonde beta. How exactly Shinso could put up with him she could never know, but they always had looked adorable together. Still she smiled softly happy to see how the blonde lit up smiling widely as he stood before her as Shinso sat on the couch beside Sasara having a strong suspicion that was who Sakaki was sitting in front of on the floor. Denki was just as quick to slip to the floor beside the dark haired man and rather in between Shinso parted legs as he rested his head against his alphas knee.

"Oh Denki, Hitoshi this is Naito Sasara. Sasara this is Kaminari Denki otherwise known as Chargerbolt, and Shinso Hitoshi though I doubt you would have ever heard his hero name. Mind Jack stays pretty low. Or he did before recently deciding to actual get on the charts," Sakaki said, smirking playfully at the purple haired man she was teasing as she watched him roll his eyes at her. Sasara tried to give both men a soft, still slightly uneasy smile. Being around so many hero's was still a rather nerve racking for the poor omega.

"It's good to be able to put a face to the name now when I run into Sakaki and she brings you up," Shinso said lazily as he leaned back into the couch as his left hand moved to gently start subconsciously playing with Denki's hair.

"Oh Uhm same," Sasara mumbled softly as she leaned into Kirishima's side a little more which had Shinso softly arch an eyebrow at the light haired woman before looking to the dark haired woman who simply smirked lightly. Denki the loud idiot like Mina seemed unaware of the woman's slight discomfort as he turned his bright golden eyes into her.

"Oh your Sakaki's friend. The one she met on that case some years ago," Denki said, unaware of the slight sour look the silver haired woman gave him. Denki always did have a tendency to not always think before he spoke. That little ADHD mind of his just rattled off whatever came to his fried mind.

"Yeah that's me," the woman said softly though Denki only continued to smile widely at her. But luckily Denki's short attention span had him already asking Sero and Mina how their work had been. Sero was still focused on the game he was playing as he tried not to let Kirishima win at their round of some first shooter style game.

Sakaki had finally turned her attention to glance over at the tall purple haired man sitting on the couch as he played with his boyfriend's hair. She watched his lips curl up into a small smirk and she silently arched an eyebrow at him as if to silently ask him what the smirk was.

"So when were you going to tell me you and grumpy were a thing?" The tall alpha she also saw as one of a few friends asked her in a low tone as to not draw too much attention to their conversation. That had her ears growing warm as she quickly glanced over at said blonde man who was watching her already and their eyes met before she quickly looked back at the other alpha beside her.

"I do not know what you're talking about," She grumbled under her breath as she tried to glare at her long time friend. But the blush on her face made it hard to keep the glare looking dangerous. And the look that Shinso was giving her only had her own embarrassment growing more. The look he gave her meant that he could tell, she could only assume that he could still smell Bakugou's scent on her. She usually would have tried to say that of course she would smell like the man she worked with and who's home she was in. But Shinso's nose had always been one that seemed to be able to pick up even more things than anyone else she knew.

"So Denki how is it working with this tired old man?" Sakaki quickly tried to drag Denki in to save her ass. And the blonde did not even seem to notice he was being used as a diversion as he smiled over at her.

"Oh you know. It's not so bad. He's started doing more public work since we moved in together. Though I still can not get him to not work all day and night," Denki said, smiling softly oblivious to the quick light glare the man above him sent.

"Does he still need to hit a coffee shop every four hours for a strong black coffee?" She asked, smirking as she glanced over at Shinso as she lightly joked about his need for coffee. Which had earned her an eye roll from the man she was teasing.

"Yep and it's like clock work too," Denki said, sounding a little amazed by his boyfriend's coffee addiction.

"I'm pretty sure he got that from Aizawa. Have you had to work with him when he can not get his coffee fix in? And I used to think Aizawa could get scary when pissed off," She said with a laugh and over exaggerated shiver. Though she only laughed harder when a hand smacked the back of her head lightly.

"You're one to talk. Last time you pulled an all-nighter on a job you probably could have put Bakugou to shame," Shinso teased, well aware that the blonde who he had mentioned had been watching him and Sakaki since she greeted him. All eyes that were paying attention to Sakaki, Denki and Shinso had turned to look over at said blonde as he glared at them all.

"What!" Was the roar that came from Bakugou and had nearly the enter room burst into laughter. That was exactly what had been expected by everyone when the second Bakugou's name was mentioned.

"Do you two work together a lot?" It was Mina who asked the question as she looked between Shinso and Sakaki. Though the look that seemed to light up in those dark eyes of hers was almost a little worrying to Sakaki.

"We worked on a few jobs together right after high school. But we have not worked together in what three years?" She asked looking over at Shinso who just lazily shrugged his shoulders at her.

"Sounds about right," Shinso said, simply agreeing with her.

"Miruko stopped putting me on underground work. Doing more day time patrols and missions that had me working with other agencies lately. Like this mission with Blasty and Red," Sakaki said as she thought through her timeline of how Miruko had been changing up the types of jobs she did trying to force her to work less independently nor allowing her to hide as much.

"Oh yeah Kiri said Miruko's agency was working with them on that drug smuggling ring. I had no idea you worked for Miruko," Mina was pouting by the end of her comment. Which just had the dark haired woman flash her a soft sorry smile.

"Don't worry Mina. We never knew either," Kirishima said, smiling over at the pink woman.

"Ha you should have seen the looks on their faces when they realized. Even Bakugou had looked something other than scowling and pissed," Sakaki said with a light giggle as she glanced at Bakugou who was glaring at her.

"Shut up," Was the bark that she got from the blonde which once again had those listening laugh lightly.

"Well can you blame us? You dropped off the face of the world. It was a rather big shock when you introduced yourself," Kirishima said, still not taking his eyes off the tv as he tried not to let himself be shot while talking.

"Eh I didn't completely drop off the face of the earth," no she just made sure to never work with old classmates other than Shinso for a while.

The night was pretty easy going, with everyone now present the game changed from two person shooter to some good old Mario cart where four people could play at once. Controllers were passed around based on who wanted to play more. But everyone got sucked into a turn or two. Beer bottles were also quickly starting to litter around the room.

At one point a tipsy Mina and sober Sero had volunteered to gather some up and make room for more fresh beers to come as they filled their hands up and headed to the kitchen. Though maybe calling Mina tipsy was a little too generous as her giggles could still be heard by Bakugou who was seated closest to the kitchen with his armchair.

Though his attention was drawn when he heard her mention Sakaki's name. Should he have been eavesdropping? No but his three beers in already had him not thinking about that as he draw his attention away from the game that was going on as Sakaki, Sasara, Denki and Shinso were all racing.

"Sakaki seems really chummy with Shinso. Do you think there's something going on between her and him?" Mina's voice could be heard asking Sero.

"No way. He's dating Denki," Sero had retorted with a small snort.

"Oh come on we know those two don't have much for preferences. And I'm pretty sure Shinso and Sakaki had a thing back at UA. I'm just saying I can see the three of them," Mina said with a string of giggles as if she was thinking of what said three people would be doing together.

"Mina," Sero tried to scold the pink woman but that only had her giggles evolve to full laughter as the two returned to the living room with a fresh round of drinks in hand.

Now Bakugou was sitting there nearly fuming over the idea as he watched the dark haired woman slamming her shoulder into Denki who sat on the floor beside her trying poorly to break his concentration as they raced around the track.

Bakugou could not deny he had been watching the woman closely and the way she interacted with the other alpha. And he did have to agree with Mina to some degree. It was clear the woman was friendly and comfortable around him. She poked fun at him any chance she got, she smiled at him and was just over all to relaxed with him for Bakugou's liking. It did not matter that the alpha was already dating the blonde idiot sitting on the floor in front of him.

He could not help the quickly growing anger he felt seeing her sitting there so close to the two idiots paying them more attention than him, even though he had not even tried to strike a conversation with her. He could already feel one of his knees start to bob up and down as he struggled not to jump to his feet and step between them. Though it seemed he did not need to as his sour scent hit Sakaki's nose and she turned to arch an eyebrow at the blonde.

That was a quick reminder they were not alone as he noticed Kirishima also looking over at him. Letting out a deep breath he struggled not to just blow up.

"What?" He finally snapped as the woman did not turn her attention back to her game instead loosing as she looked at him.

"Well someone's cranky. What is it past your bedtime?" Sakaki asked her tone completely teasing but before Bakugou could bark at her Mina beat him to say something.

"Nah probably needs to get laid," Mina said giggling as she watched all the eyes look over at her. Almost every one gave her a different look. Sero shook his head and mumbled she needed to be cut off. Kirishima almost looked worried as he glanced between Mina and Bakugou, then to Sakaki. Shinso was looking rather entertaining. Bakugou looked ready to kill the pink woman. And Sakaki was not sure if she was feeling embarrassed or not. After all she was well aware that Bakugou as of late was indeed getting laid. And with the teasing Mina had given them earlier she was also aware that there was something going on between her and him. Sakaki's reaction of spraying beer out of her nose earlier had kind of given away that information. But it seemed in her drunken state that encounter was forgotten.

"I dare you say that again," Bakugou was growling, the smell of smoke coming from his hands gave away how very close he was to probably either starting something on fire or exploring something.

They watched Mina open her mouth, fully about to say the words again as liqueur made her fearless of the angry blonde. But she never got to say anything as Sero slapped a hand over her mouth. Though when he made no move to remove it when she tried to pry it off that had in turn earned Sero's palm and fingers a thorough wet lick from Mina's tongue. Which had everyone but Bakugou laughing as the dark haired man pulled his hand away once Mina's tongue was starting to try and slip between his fingers.

"What's Bakugou's issue though?" Was the soft whisper that entered her ear from the blonde beside her.

"Hell if I know. Everything makes Blasty pissed," she replied with a shrug of her shoulders as she passed off the remote she had used and grabbed her beer to take a swig of the drink.
