《Languor || Zhong Chenle》Catch Me!

I am Liang Xiao Yue. No one really consider me as a friend. My school life consists of me walking alone in the hallway and being mocked for my hobby.
Which is being a weapon maniac.
All the names people called me at my school simply define how much of a weapon nerd i am.
But i don't take them seriously. Though no one is aware of this fact, i still am proud of myself because i am devoted to my hobby.
And by that i mean i am one of few individual researcher on Thermobaric Bombs.
"Aah, its Zhong Chenle!"
"He is so handsome oh my god,"
"Oh that is Huang Renjun, did he have a hair cut?"
"Lee Jeno is so good looking,"
"Are they all models or something?"
"These six boys are unreal."
My daydreaming session stopped abruptly. Shrieking whispers filled my school hallway. I sighed.
Not wanting to what happened, i attempted to walk to my class only to bump on to someone.
The loud gasping stuffed the hallway. It turned into silence as people began to walk away. I stood there rubbing my head.
"Ouch." I said.
A deep voice snapped.
"Fine, not so rude maybe?" I said whilst walking away, not really caring who i bumped myself with.
I felt a slight tug on my shirt. No one will ever imagine that tug to turn into a solid jerk that left me back flat on the floor.
I looked back to see a boy with bright orange hair looking at me with no expression. One of two boys beside him is saying sorry profusely while walking towards me.
"Chenle she is a girl." Said the boy to the orange haired boy who apparently called Chenle.
Said Chenle.

The boy helped me to get up.
I limp to my class after they walked away.
Whoa.
That was painful.
I thought to myself in class while rubbing my back. My hand scribbling on a book.
I stand up to excuse myself from the class. I limp while taking careful strides to get towards the school's clinics.
"Damn, i must've also sprained my ankle."
A loud door banging noice petrified my body for a moment.
The teacher screamed as a boy stormed his way out.
"You, get him!" The teacher plead me.
Ugh.
Big no no.
"Get him or you will be getting an E on your assignment!"
Not cool teacher, not cool.
I quickly catch up to him beside the gate.
"Hey!" I called.
He didn't even bother to even look at me.
"You orange hair!" I called louder.
He stopped and sighed.
No, young man, you are going back to class."
He sighed again and tapped his watch. A couple of boys walked up to me. Holding my arm as the orange haired boy walks away.
I stood there to process what happened. I began to try ripping my arms of theirs. Only to meet the everloving struggle.
"NO, I DON'T WANNA GET AN E!"
"MY BODY IS HURTING ALREADY!"
"AAAAAAH!" i screamed in frustation.
Just after he left, the couple of boys that strangled the life out of me just about to walk away.
"Wait, who are you guys?"
They just left.
Knowing i messed up already, i limp my way to the school's clinic.
Huffing every now and then.
Fuck that Chenle boy.

One to wander the realm in search of power, to protect themselves and what they believe in. They know their path to be the only one. Writers note: The first chapter will set the standard in terms of mood for the remainder of the story. It also comes to no surprise to me that half the people who read the first part stop reading any further. It has quite a bit of the good ‘ol ‘ultra-violence’ mixed with a great deal of realism. As much as I could fit into it from my own knowledge and experience in the elite forces. The first few chapters will be slow, after, but starting from ‘Restless Destroyer’ the remainder of the world will start to open up, and when we hit ‘Adronitis’ the prologue is largely finished. The novel is well thought out and filled with hidden lore, culture, history. So even if my word choice appears random – it’s not. There is a reason why these chapters take as long as they do. Vermodalen is fantasy adventure, with magic and heroics in an as realistic setting as I could fit. Things are rarely what they seem, and the ugly nature of people bleed through the letters at the turn of every page. I hope you can give this story a fair chance, even if it isn’t immediately to your taste. Lastly, english isn't my first language. It isn't my second one either. So, if you find errors in grammer and spelling, wordplay and sentance building, do let me know, and you will be rewarded by a surge of dopamine that will be released inside your brain for helping someone whom you haven't even seen or heard.

Midnight Origins: Arrival
On a lush planet known as Bhar, Verun is now the leading nation in the development of the rivaled schools of Magic and Science. Having brought forth an era of peace and prosperity for themselves through the development of Magitech, The High council was eager to spread their knowledge and beliefs to the furthest reaches of the continent, with the goal of ending senseless conflicts and prioritizing advancements in Magitech and improving the quality of life. This ambition, however, is not without opposition. Most followers side with one school or another, believing it is superior in nature. This conflict dates back to the very beginning of civilization itself, where it is believed by both sides that their gods descended from the heavens, bestowing upon them the knowledge that would bring the world into a new age. And though some took great interest in their differences, others would seek to convert each other through any means necessary. That being the case, The High council, leaders of Verun, had made the necessary preparations to handle threats and attempt diplomacy between the remaining opposers. Talented volunteers were hand chosen to be among the military, tasked with protecting the nation from both internal and external threats. And although non-biological creations have improved quality of life, they are not yet capable of replacing the military. The necessary research and development for such a thing was thought to be decades away, until Councilman Eranor encountered an anomaly in his facility…
