i opened my eyes.

"chenle! you're back!" she smiles at me, running up to hug me.

"it's not... dark anymore." i mumbled

she nods at me, "it's because you're starting to accept me!"

i scrunch my nose, "haven't i accepted you yet?"

she hums, "not my real self."

"anyways... how was school for you?" she asked me, grabbing my hand and linking it with hers.

i groan at the mention of school, "it was horrible!"

she giggled at my response, "the usual?"

i nod at her, "the usual."

we talked endlessly. i loved the way how her hair flowed as she danced with the flower petals.

i felt so attracted.

i clapped and sang along with her.

was beautiful

i couldn't help but stare at her golden eyes as we walked side by side together

the time was ticking fast,

i wish i get to stay here forever

so that i could forget about the dreadful feeling i get when i wake up every morning

she had her head tilted a bit, the curiosity displayed on her face.

her eyes shone with care.

she shakes her head,

"i told you! this is supposed to be our happy place, no frowning faces are allowed."

i pout, "but haerin! i have to go..."

haerin scrunches her nose cutely and pinched my cheeks, "but we'll see each other again, doesn't that make you feel any better?"

"i guess..."

she smiles and takes a step back, gesturing towards the wooden bridge.

"don't forget about me."

she chuckled and lightly pushed me towards the bridge. i rolled my eyes playfully.

the sound of my alarm shocked me.

"aw frick!" i sat up and threw a pillow at my alarm. "shut up will you...?" i huff and stood up.

"i guess it's time for school again."
