Everything was silent. Jisung eyed his cousin who only waved frantically, mouthing 'it wasn't me!!' which made Jisung wished that it was him, because it only made him more nervous instead because turns out his crush knew he liked her. Oh, if only the floor could swallow him up right now.

The awkward atmosphere soon broke when Jaemin looked up from his food, and saw someone familiar.

"Yeonri?", the girl turned around. Surprised, she just waved back. "Hi Jaemin, oh hey guys"

Jaemin stood up and went to her. "What are you doing here?"

"It's summer break, so I'm going back to my hometown which is...here! I'm here to see and say hi to my sister too", Yeonri went up to the cashier and smiled seeing the exact person she was hoping to meet.

"Yeonha!"

This time, Jeno choked on his drink. Talk about karma, except the boy didn't really do anything. Eyes big, he turned slowly to face his best friend who was equally shocked.

"YOU TWO ARE SISTERS!?", Jeno and Jaemin exclaimed at the same time. The girls turned to face them both.

"Yeah, Yeonri's my younger sister", Yeonha answered. "Do you guys know each other or something...?"

"Uhhh, Y-Yeonha can I ask how old are you?"

"I'm 22 this year", Yeonha realized something. "Wait, so you're younger than me?"

Jeno felt like he could burst at any moment. Meanwhile, Jaemin and Yeonri just shyly smiled at each other.

"Well isn't this great? Everyone's here, this is definitely gonna be one interesting summer break", Chenle added as the couple watched the whole thing unfold.

"Mhm, more exciting to watch this than some cringy Romcom", Xiu Ying said.

"For sure", the two said together as they ate finish all of the fries, smiling while seeing their friends.

"You don't really have to invite us, you know? This is your summer break, it's fine"

"Are you kidding? Jaemin and Jeno were coming up with different ways in order to ask you two to join us"

"Chenle!"

"What?", Chenle gave a mischievous smile.

Everyone joked around, the newcomers eventually joining in the fun as well. It was livid, except for one boy who had his hands shoved in his pocket.

He was thinking about that one girl he met, or bumped into to be more exact. He said that he was hoping to see her around here, and he really wasn't lying. But ever since last night he didn't even spot a glimpse of her. And with her friends all getting together, it just made him extremely bitter.

So bitter that he didn't look at where he was going, and that he bumped into someone. How ironic.

Letting out a sound, Donghyuck looked up and suddenly his bad mood vanished. Because the person he was definitely not thinking about actually came up to him, in the same circumstances as before.

"Oh, it's you again. Lee Donghyuck, right? Sorry again, it seems we always bump into each other", Rena spoke up, hair blowing in the wind. Honestly? She looked like the most beautiful girl he had laid eyes on.

"H-hey", Donghyuck stuttered. "It's alright, I'm fine haha. In fact, it's my fault this time since I didn't look at where I was going"

He got an idea. "Actually, let me make it up to you. Me and my friends are going out, why don't you join us? If you're free, that is"

Rena was surprised. "Oh, I definitely am. But..."

"Hey, you didn't repay me for bumping into me yesterday. But you can start giving back by telling me a bit about yourself, what about that?", Donghyuck smiled. "My friends would love for you to join us, just so you know"

"If you say so...okay then!", Rena walked with him as they came up to the others.

"Everyone, I would like you to meet Rena. Kim Rena, to be exact"

"Oh, you're the girl from yesterday. Hello, I'm Lee Nari. Donghyuck's little sister", Nari emphazied on the last few words, swiftly taking Rena by the arm. "I must say, my brother sure has taste. You're really beautiful"

"Thank you but you're pretty as well. I see the siblings have gotten their looks from someone", Rena giggled, already feeling welcomed.

"Hi, Rena! I'm Jisung, and that's my cousin Jeno"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Renjun and this is my girlfriend Jihye. Jihye and Jaemin over there are twins, that's why they look similar"

"Hey girl! Yeonha here, and this is my sister Yeonri"

"Okay, is it just me or all of you somehow related with each other?"

"You're not exactly wrong about that", Xiu Ying giggled. "I'm Xiu Ying, and this is my boyfriend Chenle"

"Yes, yes. We've all introduced ourselves. But anyways, Rena...", Donghyuck took her by the wrist, a bit forcefully as he smiled threateningly at his sister who just shrugged.

It hasn't been long since their break started, but for sure this is gonna be something unforgettable.
