School was over, and Xiu Ying sighed in happiness. With haste steps, she walked towards her apartment building where only she lived. It was only her, with her parents that left her in a foster home and never came back. She wasn't too sad though, because eventually she grew up and moved out of the home by herself. If she was still under their care, then she wouldn't get to do what she does now.
She wouldn't have gotten to enjoy the thrill, the excitement, the adrenaline that pulses through her whenever she roams at night.
"Seoul Bank, Mitsuri Bank, LeChan Bank...", she listed off all the banks that she robbed. "Hmmm, Sutji Bank? The most protected bank, with high tech security and a near impossible to hack system...", Xiu Ying smirked, as she changed from her school uniform into the completely black outfit that she always wore.
Emitting a completely different aura from highschool student Li Xiu Ying, this Xiu Ying was more of a daredevil. A rebel, a criminal.
"Clearly they haven't realize what a blood rose can do, have they?", she whispered as she put on her black mask, making only her eyes visible. It was like a completely new person, a whole 180 turn from before.
"Time to show them, then"
It was night time, and the city lights illuminated the city. The streets were still busy, cars and people crossing the road. It was normal, until someone decided to stir up trouble.
A familiar yet also unfamiliar motorbike zoomed through the streets, some tsking at the irresponsible driving behavior. But it didn't matter to Chenle, or Devil Rider as he would call himself.
"Well known criminal Devil Rider has yet again caused trouble", he heard from the television playing in a technology store as he stopped by the red light.

"On the 5th of May, a number of 5 police cars were on a chase with the criminal rider. There were estimately 10 people after the said person, yet all were sadly lost due to a big explosion caused by Devil Rider at the Yunghwa highway, which was closed due to construction. The brave acts of these policemen will never be forgotten. May they rest in peace", the news reporter announced, leaving Chenle to scoff.
"Brave? They were nothing but a bunch of pussies", he muttered under the black mask, feeling his hot breath against the fabric in contrast to the cool air that passed by him as he continue his way towards his destination.
Stopping near a alleyway, Chenle- Devil Rider checked his surroundings before walking towards the bank who had their doors closed. Leaning against a wall, he looked to see multiple guards surrounding the enter. He guessed that there even twice the number of those people inside the building as well.
Steathily, he walked towards one guard and took him by surprise as his shouts got muffled by his hand. Knocking him out, he hid him somewhere before coming for the other guards.
Eventually he got rid of half the guards, another half already gone. He raised his eyebrows in suspicion, but decided to take the chance instead of investigating further.
Picking at one of the doors, he disabled the cctvs and alarms as well before fully entering the bank. As expected, some got themselves ready once they realized someone was inside the building, and a large fight began.
Avoding attacks and swinging back, he almost laughed at how ridiculous these guards were with their job. Kicking away the unconscious bodies easily, he continued walking.
But a guard came up to him from behind and almost attacked him, leaving Devil Rider no chance until someone else took out the guard. He looked up and saw the person looking at him as well. Dressed similarly as him, he assumed it was a girl considering how their build was more delicate and less rough compared to a normal boy's appearance.

They held the eye contact for a little while, until the unknown person suddenly ran further inside the building. Devil Rider was left taken aback, until he realized that the person had the same motive as him too. To steal.
But he wasn't gonna fail, starting a chase they both ran and ran. They ended up in the safe room, where a large stash of money was comfirmed to be inside there. One person definitely couldn't take all, but it was the feeling of knowing someone else did it before him that ticked Chenle off easily.
The unknown criminal had their hands on the safe door, except at the the same time he had already put his hands as well. They stared at each other again, only their eyes visible to each other.
"I got here first", it was definitely a girl.
"I entered the building first", Devil Rider fought back.
The eye contact grew more and more intense, until the girl threw herself onto him, tackling both to the ground. She tried to swing a punch, only to end up punching the floor beside him.
Taking this to his advantage, Chenle took her wrist and threw her under him, effectively trapping her as he held both her wrists.
The girl squirmed under him, eventually resulting in her knee making contact between his legs which resulted in a loud groan from his throat.
She took the chance to open the safe, getting a amount of money inside her bag before running away. However, Devil Rider quickly got back up although he couldn't run, the pain still lingering.
Down she went, past all the still unconscious bodies as she broke the window to a nearby car, unlocking and eventually driving away with it.
Chenle gripped the wall beside him, still wincing as he saw the person running away. "Fuck", he harshly whispered, getting on his bike chasing after the person yet again.

Orc Lord
A young woman just starting out in life is killed tragically in a car accident. However, she soon regains consciousness as a baby in a fantasy world. But... she's an Orc?! It would be good if she could just enjoy her new life quietly, but she seems destined for war and carnage. How will she fare as a monster in a fantasy world? ________________ This story will have a total of three arcs: Arc 1, The Birth of Babylon: 571 pages (complete) Arc 2, The Baphomet War: 420 pages (complete) Arc 3, The Mad Queen of Carnage: (in progress) ________________ Ultimately, I'm writing this for enjoyment. If you enjoy it too, fantastic! Gore: Extremely infrequent, but moderately intense. Profanity: There are a few swear words here and there, as well as some more creative insults. Traumatizing Content: While I'm at it, there are some questionable morals displayed (mostly after chapter 77). So far we can check off slavery, brainwashing, war, and genocide. This story starts off very Light Novel-ish because I was reading a lot of them at the time. The writing style gradually matures as it goes. Sorry, but I don't have the stamina to go back and fix everything, even if I know it gets pretty roughshod at times. New readers, please keep in mind, I make use of "unreliable narrators" at times. My story accepts donations, but it is free to read and I've only uploaded it here. Lastly, Orc Lord is a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying ending. One of my long breaks triggered a dishonor, but I'll redeem it someday when it's actually finished. I'm the ultimate necromancer author. ;P

8 156Spirits of Eternity(A cultivation story based on spirits)
There are many after Liv, for what she can do. Spirits flock to her and help her, while the rest of the world captures them and uses their power with abandon. Liv set forth to find the truth behind her parents’ death, after their final message. After hearing their voice, Liv was offered a decision. Live safely, or be the best. Just like someone from the past, Liv decided to step towards strength. The magic system in this world is based on a few types of energy: Note(for Songs), Will(for Thought), Mana(for ordinary magic, because I felt like it), what is referred to as 'energy' here(for talking to spirits), and Dominion(for Aura). This is still a work in progress. Any suggestions are welcomed. This and my other work, Monsters as Men, are set in the same world. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Reia Welsh was a student Photomancer who attended Decorous Academy for magical knights, typically wouldn't find herself on either end of the bullying stick, which was pretty impressive considering a multitude of authoritative clubs for the social elites happened to oppress and rule the school with an iron fist.
