Gianna's POV:

It is Nia's birthday today. She is turning 11 years old!

I woke up all the girls, apart from Nia and told them that we are going to cook breakfast and then go and wake her up, they agreed so we started cooking breakfast.

We finally finished making breakfast and now we are on our way to Nia's bedroom to wake her up. She was so happy, we gave her some presents while eating and then we all got dressed and went to the studio.

Today I am only going to work on the solos because I have 14 solos to work on, but they are all doing a dance that they have done before so it won't take as long because they don't need to learn a dance. So they are each going to have 30 minutes with me to practice their solo then we are going home.

When we got to the studio, I said to the girls "I am only practising solos today, we are going to go in age order, youngest to oldest. You will practice in Studio A with me and if you are not practicing then you will be helping with one of the general classes. I want no more than 2 Juniors and 2 minis per class at one time. So, this is the order of solos:

"Lilly, your solo is entitled Dainty But Dangerous."

"Elliana, your solo is entitled Sing For You."

"Kenz, your solo is entitled Sink Or Swim."

"Alexus, your solo is entitled Sassy."

"Brynn, your solo is entitled Freak."

"Jojo, your solo is entitled Fancy."

"Kendall, your solo is entitled Demand Applause."

"Mads, your solo is entitled Cry."

"Chloe, your solo is entitled Soaring."

"Paige, your solo is entitled Make Some Noise."

"Nia, your solo is entitled Goodbye Maya."

"Kalani, your solo is entitled Innocent."

"Brooke, your solo is entitled Metamorphosis."

I spent half an hour with each of them and all of their dances are so good.

I said to them "All of your dances have the potential to win. At the competition, you are split into 3 categories; Petite, Junior and Teen. The top 10 scores, overall will be staying on the team. The lowest 4 will be leaving and going home. If I am your guardian but you get a low score and are not on my team, then you will be going back to Pittsburg to dance at the ALDC again. So try as hard as you can."

We went back home and celebrated Nia's birthday. She opened the rest of her presents and she was so happy. She got

• And I gave her $500

She put on her new bikini and the girls and I put on our swimwear and we all went in the pool in the backyard. We were in there for about 3 hours before the girls started getting hungry so we got out and changed and went out to eat.

Nia was wearing one of her new dresses; the blue one.

All the other girls were also wearing dresses and I was wearing a skirt and top.

We went to the Olive Garden and after we ate we went home and watched HOME then went to sleep.
