Gianna's POV:

I am worried about Mackenzie, but I am ready to choose the 4 dancers for my team. It 7am now and I told the dancers to get to the venue for 9am so I am going to get some breakfast and then head over there.

It is now 8:30am and I don't have any thing to do because everything is still set up from yesterday so I decided to message Christi

I got a reply straight away saying

That made me a bit batter. Christi said she will let me know if there is any more news about Mackenzie. Now, it's time for the auditions so I opened the doors and said "Welcome. Well done for getting through yesterday. Same as yesterday, get a number, and write down your names with it on the paper then stretch."

All the dancers are now stretched and ready so I told them what will happen "I am going to teach you a different combination. It is harder choreography. If you don't get it then you are gone. I will watch you al love th, if you are not doing it good you are gone. Then you will be split into groups and do it again. That will continue until there are only 4 of you left. You 4, will be asked to join my team. Right, let's get started."

"Right, you 6, 2 of you will be going home. 4 of you will be joining my team. Let's do the dance 1 more time."

"Well done Peyton, Alexus, Elliana and Lilliana. You are now members of the GMDC Petite competition team. On Monday please come to the Studio at 8am. See you on Monday. Bye."

Then I went back to the hotel to get my stuff and check out and go home.

Maddie's POV:

Mackenzie is in a coma! Why does everything happen to her!

I just want Gianna to come home, she is supposed to be coming home today but I'm worried that she might decide not to.

I'm not even at the studio today. I'm at the hospital with Christi. I'm staying at Mackenzie's side, hoping that she is going to wake up soon!

Gianna POV:

I have just got out of the car. I am at the studio. I went in and I saw James. I motioned for him to come to my office, so he came to my office and informed me of how Mackenzie is. She is still in a coma. I feel so bad for Maddie. So I told James that I am going to the hospital. I told him NOT to tell anyone that I am back yet. I told him that I will be back soon to tell everyone that I'm back and to see how their dances are and I will have Maddie with me, because I know what to say to get her to come to the studio.

Maddie's POV:

I'm sitting with Kenzie, hoping that she will wake up soon. When I hear a familiar voice calling my name, so I look around and see Gianna. I ran to her and she picked me up and I cried into her shoulder. She said "Maddie, it will all be okay."

I didn't say anything back, I just nodded. So she said "Come on, let's go and see Kenzie for a little while then we have to go to the studio."

I really didn't want to go to the studio today but I didn't object because I know that we have competition at the weekend and we only have today and Tomorrow left to practice!

We are on our way to the studio and to be honest, I'm not sure I'm ready to go back because everyone is gonna look at me weird because Kenzie is in the hospital!

Gianna's POV:

Maddie looks so broken, and it breaks my heart because there is nothing that I can do to help her at the moment!

We have just arrived at the studio. So we got out the car and I asked "Are you ready?"

Maddie nodded, so I opened the door and in we went. I had texted James earlier saying to get the girls into Studio A for when I get there, so me and Maddie went straight into Studio A and saw all the girls. They all were so happy to see me. Maliboo was in there as well, because the hospital wouldn't allow her to be with Kenzie! I said hello to all the girls and gave them all a hug and them I said "Right, well can I see your dances?" They all nodded and got ready and I said "Let's start with Brynn's solo." So Brynn did her solo and it was really good.

"Brynn, that dance is really good!"

She thanked me and then I said "Now, Maddie can you do your solo."

She nodded and started dancing, but halfway through she stopped and just started crying. She tried to carry on, but she couldn't. She came running over to me still crying and I knew straight away this was because of Mackenzie, so I said to her "Go into my office, I'll be there in a little while." She nodded and left so I said "Kalani let's see your solo." So she did her solo and it's really good. So I told her that I liked it and then I said "Now, girls. Obviously this is going to be difficult because Mackenzie was the lead of the group and she had a trio, duet and solo. But she can't do them, so we are going to reblock the group and the trio will have to wait for when Mackenzie is better and her duet will be done when she is better as well. So, I know that this is hard on all of you, but just imagine how Maddie feels. She only recently got her sister back and now she's sort of lost her again. So, if you all stretch and then we will work on the group. I'm going to go and see how Maddie is. I'll be back soon."

Maddie's POV:

I'm just sitting in Gianna's spinny chair thinking about Mackenzie. I don't want her to be in the hospital. I want her to come home! I was lost in thought, just spinning around when Gianna came in and sat on the sofa so I stopped spinning and looked at her. She said "Maddie, I understand how you are feeling. Now, I have a question to ask you."

I continued looking at her and she said "Do you want to do your solo this week, or would you like to wait and do it next week?"

I thought and then said "I want to do it this week. For Mackenzie."

Then Gianna nodded and said "Well, Kenzie might be out of the hospital and be able to come and watch!"

I just looked at her and said "Gia, she's in a coma! People don't just wake up and be fine. If she - WHEN she wakes up, she's gonna have to have tests done and that takes days!"

Gianna just looked at me and replied with "You never know. I have been in a coma before, I woke up and was out of the hospital 1 hour later."

I looked at Gia and smiled and then said "Let's hope that's what happens because Kenzie will be upset if she misses the competition because she really likes the group dance and her other dances as well!"

Then Gianna smiled back at me and said "Should we go back to the others now. I left them warming up."

I nodded so we walked into Studio A and when we got there, Gianna got all the girls to listen and said "Right, we are going to go through the group, leaving it exactly how it is. Mackenzie was the lead so it won't look too weird. Then we will do trios and then duets and then we will go home. All dances with Mackenzie in them will be practised as they were taught and if I need to add someone to it, then I will do. That's why you are all in here, so I can see who will be the best fit, if Mackenzie doesn't make it to the competition."

They all looked at Gianna and nodded, then they got in the starting position for the group dance, while the 5 of us that are not in the dance, went to the side to watch. As soon as I sat down, I had Maliboo jump onto my lap, so I'm just sitting here with a dog on my lap while I'm watching the dance.

Mackenzie's POV:

I feel weird. I don't know where I am but, the last thing I remember is slipping at the Studio. I don't know what day it is now but I know that Maddie has been with me because I could hear her. She isn't losing hope and neither am I. I fell on Wednesday, and it can't have been long. It's possibly Thursday or Friday now. So if I want to make it to this competition, my body needs to move.

Gianna should be back by now. I wonder how her time off was. She didn't tell us where she was going, she just said she was going somewhere with her friends. I think Christi has been with me as well. I think I heard her voice.

It's hard to tell though. I feel like I am blind, because I can't see anyone but I can hear them. I think I am in a hospital because I keep hearing beeping noises. I think I am in a coma because that's the only thing I can think of as to why I can't move and why I can't see.

I just need to move something to show everyone that I'm still here!

I'll wait until someone comes to visit maybe and then I'll try and move my arm or my foot.

Gianna's POV:

Now, we are going home and when we get there, I am going to go and visit Mackenzie because I need to ask the doctors how she is and I don't want any of the girls to be with me when I do, especially Maddie.

Right now, I am on my way to the hospital to see Mackenzie. When I walked in to her room, I sat down and said "Hi Kenz, please wake up, or move something to show us that you haven't given up hope. We all miss you. Maddie is a wreck without you. So is Brynn, she misses her bestie! Please Kenz, give me a sign that you can hear me."

As I said that last bit, I put my hands on her hand and she twitched and then her hand moved. I moved my hands away and went to get a doctor. When he arrived, I said "Her hand moved." Then the doctor started speaking to Mackenzie and while he was speaking to her, she woke up and said "Gianna?" So I went over to her and said "Kenzie, you're she tried to nod but the doctor told her not to move and told her that she was in a coma but it wasn't long, because it is Thursday evening. Then she said "I'm tired." So the doctor said "Well ,then we will go and let you sleep." Before I left I said 4 more words to Mackenzie "I love you Mackenzie." She replied with "Love you too." And then we walked out of her room.

I followed the doctor to his desk and he said "It's quite remarkable really, not many people wake up after 1 day of being in a coma. Usually takes a week or so." Then I said "Well, Mackenzie is different. She's unique." And the doctor nodded and said "Yes. Well, we need to keep her in for a few days for observation and then she can leave. So, she should be good to go home on Saturday. And she can return to her normal life." I looked at him and asked "She dances, will she have to wait a while before doing that again? Or will she be good to start straight away? Because we have a competition on Sunday and she has 4 dances?!" The doctor looked at me and said "She will need to take it easy, but I see no reason why she shouldn't be able to compete if she feels up to it." So I thanked him and went home.

When I got home, everyone was asleep apart from Christi, she said she was waiting up for me to get back. She asked me how Mackenzie is so I said "Don't tell anyone else, but I have a surprise for the competition."

"Go on." She said.

"While I was at the hospital. Mackenzie woke up and she should be good to come home on Saturday. And the doctor said that as long as she feels up to it, she should be able to dance at the competition on Sunday. So, tomorrow, I am going to go back and ask if they can keep her in until Sunday, and I will be there Sunday morning to get her and then bring her to the competition."

Christi looked shocked and then said "That's amazing news! But, what if the girls want to go and see her?"

I thought for a minute then said "I'll tell them that she is having tests done so no one is allowed to visit her until they let me know that she is okay to has visitors again."

Christi told me that it was a good idea and then we both went to bed and went to sleep.
