Gianna's POV:

It is now 7:30am and all the girls are awake and we are eating breakfast and then heading to the studio. I have already sorted out who is going where on the pyramid, I just need to sort it out.

*timeskip*

We are now in Studio A, I'm about to start pyramid. "So, to start with, I would like to say again Happy Birthday to Kenzie AND we won against Abby!!" All the girls starting cheering.

"Now, let's do pyramid, on the bottom, we have you weren't in the group, in the trio you were out of time with her others, your duet with Brynn was not in time and your solo came 2nd! Next we have you only had the group and a duet and your duet came 2nd! Moving on, we have your trio and duet came first, but you didn't stand out in the group. Next we have same as Nia. Next we have your duet came 2nd but your trio came 1st! Moving on we have your duet and trio both came 1st but you didn't stand out in the group. Moving up we have your duet and trio came first. Next we have same as Brynn. Second we have your solo, duet and trio came 1st. And on the top of the pyramid we have every dance you were in came 1st and your solo got a perfect score!"

Maddie and Brynn hugged Mackenzie, then I continued "Right, this weekend we are going to Starbound Competition in Atlanta, Georgia. Solos go to Mackenzie, Kalani, Brynn and Maddie. Duets go to Maddie & Mackenzie and Chloe & Paige. Trios go to Mackenzie, Paige & Nia and Maddie, Chloe and Brooke. Group is Mackenzie, Kalani, Kendall, Jojo and Nia."

I paused so that could sink in. "Right, let's start with the group. Everyone else go into Studio B, there is a Tap class going on."

• Right, the group is called What We Want and it is inspired by the Spice Girls. So, you are all going to be a different girl, So Mackenzie you are Ginger Spice. Kalani you are Sporty Spice. Kendall you are Posh Spice. Jojo you are Baby Spice and Nia you are Scary Spice. Let's get started."

"That's coming a long really well. Now, I will start on the trios, so Mackenzie and Nia stay in here. The rest of you can go and can you get Maddie, Chloe, Brooke and Paige to come in here please."

So they went and the other 4 girls came in and I said "Right so you 2 trios will be against each other and I know that will be hard because we have both trios with each sister in them. But, I don't want any arguing okay?"

They nodded so I continued "Right, I am going to start with Mackenzie's trio so Maddie, Chloe and Brooke, go to the side and stretch. Mackenzie, Nia and Paige let's start with you. Your trio is acro and it's entitled Nothings gonna stop us. So let's have Mackenzie and Nia on the right and Paige on the left in the wings and Mackenzie you are going to be at the front, and you will come out when the music first starts then Paige then Nia."

"Right, that's looking good. You are dismissed. Maddie, Chloe, Brooke let's get started. Right, your dance is Lyrical and it's entitled Somebody Told Me. Let's start with Maddie on the floor, Chloe Kneeling behind her and Brooke Standing behind Chloe. That is a nice starting position. Now, Brooke turn to your left and do an aerial and pose. Chloe turn to your right and do a leap then pose. Maddie roll forward and do a turn and then pose........."

"That's looking good. Well done girls. Let's go and have lunch!"

We had a really nice lunch. Now it's time to work on the duets. So I got Maddie, Mackenzie, Chloe and Paige to come into Studio A while the other girls practiced their dances.

"Right, let's start with Maddie and Mackenzie. So your duet is a lyrical dance entitled Run From Mother. Abby's wanted to give it to you but Mackenzie, she didn't think you would be able to keep up with your sister. But I believe that you can. So let's get started."

"That is really good girls. Go into Studio B and Kenz, get Kalani, Kendall, Nia and Jojo and go into Studio C and work on the group dance."

They went and I turned to Chloe and Paige and said "Right, you 2 are against Maddie and Mackenzie. Did you watch their dance?"

They both nodded. "Do you think you can dance that well?"

They looked at each other and then back at me and nodded.

"Good. Let's get started. Your duet is a musical theatre piece entitled Broadway Blondes. Same as Maddie and Mackenzie, Abby wanted to give you this dance but then you left the ALDC. So she never got a chance to give it to you. Right, so let's get started. Chloe you are going to stand on the left side of the stage and Paige, you are going t I stand on the right side opposite Chloe and then you are both going to step onto the stage with your right foot first and then your left. And take 5 steps towards each other and then do a leap and pose........."

"That's looking good. You have learnt quite a big chunk of the dance already! Well done. Can you get Kalani, Maddie, Brynn and Kenzie to come in here please."

So they left and shortly after the 4 girls entered the room, so I said "Hello girls. I am going to start teaching your solos now. Kenzie and Brynn, you are against each other in the Petite section. Maddie, you are in the Preteen section and Kalani, you are in the Teen section. Im going t start with Kalani so the rest of you stretch at the side."

"So, Kalani, your solo is contemporary and it's entitled Swan Solstice. When it is performed correctly, you could get a standing ovation from the audience. Let's start with you sitting in the middle of the stage......"

"That's coming on good. You can go. Maddie, let's work on your solo now."

Maddie came over to where I was standing and I said "Maddie, your solo this week is a very powerful piece. It is entitled Helen Keller. Now, Helen Keller was a young girl who was deaf and blind. And she had this rag doll that she always carried with her. So I got you this to use as a prop in your dance" I went to the corner of the room and picked up the rag doll that I brought along for Maddie to use "This is a rag doll. You will be incorporating it into your dance. Let's get started."

"That's looking good. Just make sure that you always know where the doll is. Take it into Studio B and practice. Brynn, let's do your solo now."

Brynn came over to me and I said "Your dance is entitled The Coronation. You will be playing the role of a princess who is becoming a queen. Let's get started......"

"That's looking good Brynn! Kenzie, your turn!"

Mackenzie came over to me and I waited until Brynn was out of the room and said "Right, Mackenzie. Did you watch Brynn's solo?"

She nodded.

"Not very challenging is it?"

She shook her head.

"No, Your solo is very challenging. Do you think you can handle it?"

She nodded again.

"Right. Let's get started, your solo is entitled Sink Or Swim. It is acro and it has a lot of new tricks in it. Okay, let's start with you at the back and you are going to......"

"Good Job Kenz. That's looking really good. Stay here, I will go and get the rest of the group so we can practice that again."

So I went and got Kalani, Kendall, Nia and Jojo and said "Come on girls. We are practicing the group again before going home."

So they came and we practiced again for 1/2 an hour before I said "Right, that is looking good. Let's go and get our stuff and we can go home now."

While they got their stuff, I went to my office and got out the girls dance outfits that I had done for them ages ago, the purple crop top and Black booty shorts. I had GMDC embroidered to the crop top. I am going to see how the girls do at this competition and at pyramid, I will give the girls their new dance wear. But, there is 1 problem. I don't want a team of 10 dancers. So, I am having open call auditions for new dancers so that I can make another team just of Minis. Mackenzie, Jojo and Brynn will be on that team. While the other 7 stay on the Elite team.

I have not told anyone yet but I am going to tell them that I have to go away for a couple of days. And the open call auditions are 20 minutes away but I'm having 2 because I am having a big one and then I will call some dancers back the next day for another round. So, I am going to stay away overnight. So, I'm going to tell the girls that I am going to a special evening out with some of my friends and I will be back the next day. But, it will mean missing 2 days of rehearsals so I have to trust that the girls will be good and do what they are asked to do.

So, we are on our way home now, so I decided I will tell everyone when we get home.

We just got home and I said "Everyone into the living room, I have some important news."

So everyone came in and I said "Right, I am not going to be at rehearsals on Wednesday or Thursday because I am spending the 2 days with some of my friends because they are going through a hard time at the moment so I said I will go and support them. So I will not be here on Wednesday night. But, while I am not here, I expect you to listen to Christi and Kelly and a dance you have to listen to whoever is teaching you. You all know part of your dances so the teachers will be teaching you the next parts. I have taught them it so they know what to do. When I get back, if I hear that anyone has been messing around or not listening then they will be in trouble. Do you all understand me?"

The girls all nodded their heads so I said "Good. Now let's have dinner and then you can go to bed."

So we had dinner and then went to our bedrooms and went to bed.

I went to my room and started thinking about the open call auditions. How many dancers do I want. Am I looking for all the same age? Do I want any boys? Do I want any dancers who are under 5 years old?

There is so much to think about!

I went to sleep thinking of all different things.
