Chapter 7.

Brooke's POV :

"We leave to go back home tomorrow, Ella. You should get up now so we can go to all the parks." We're going to Epcot today which is a science-y themed park.

Ella probably won't have much fun there because it's basically a place for adults. I throw her blonde locks into a bun and put her in a blue shirt with pink shorts. After changing Ali, I stand with Ella next to me and Ali in her stroller.

"Is everyone up?" I yell. Brandon wakes up.

"We'll be eating breakfast. If you don't meet us down there by 8:40 then we're leaving without you." I head out with the girls and go into the cafeteria for our breakfasts.

Sadly, Brandon was ready for the buses at 8:40. He's been really getting on my nerves lately, if you couldn't tell. I just wish he would've gotten down here earlier so we can enjoy this as a family and not have Ella constantly asking where her Daddy is.

We board the bus to Epcot and this Nemo ride is the first one we go on. It's not even a ride, actually, it's more like scenes you see from the movie and at the end, an aquarium. I haven't had coffee in about a week and I need this back in my system to survive. Thankfully there was a Starbucks near the Nemo ride.

"Ah." I hum when I take a sip.

The next ride we go on is all like history of the past ways of life.

"C'mon Ella, you can come on with Daddy." Brandon says, taking her hand. "No!" Ella shouts.

"I wanna ride with Mommy!" So I hand Ali over to Brandon and board the shuttle with Ella. At the end, we made our "future". It was really crazy since Ella was randomly tapping answers.

Ella was bored by three, so we went back to the hotel. It's a good thing, too since it poured down rain the second we stepped off the bus.

"Who wants lunch?" I ask the girls. "We do!" Ella answers for both her and Ali.

....

I roll Ella's suit case towards the car and load the girls into the car. "You're not coming back with us?" I ask Brandon. He's been acting really strange and not himself. It makes me wonder if he's hiding something...

"No, the next three days are my meetings for work. But I'll be back on Friday, I promise." I nod and hug him. For the way he's been acting, he gets no kiss from me. I start my car engine and drive off, leaving Brandon walk back to our hotel room.

"Momma, I don't like being back home. Can we pleeeease go back?" Ella begs.

"Maybe later but now you can go back to school tomorrow!" Ella squeals and prances up the stairs to her bedroom.

"What are we gonna do with her?" I ask Ali. She giggles.

After dropping Ella off at school the next day, I decide I have some time to kill. I go into the city to get some groceries and buy some clothes, not just for Ella and Ali, but me too

. "Awh, this is so cute." I say as I pile baby clothes into my basket. Baby clothes are always cute, that's why Ali has basically more clothes than me. Ella could have a ton of clothes, but she's really picky. If there's one thing she doesn't like, she won't wear it. I feel a bump in Ali's stroller and realize I ran someone's foot over with it.

"Oh Lord, I'm so sorry." I apologize. Then I realize who it is.

"What are you doing here?" I laugh. "I live down here!" Nolan from the Sorcerer's Hat in Disney exclaims. "Really?" I gasp. "Me too! I live about ten minutes away from here." Nolan nods.

"I'd hate to get in the way of your shopping, but would you like to go out to lunch?" He asks. I laugh.

"Sure. Just let me buy all this crap." I scan my credit card in the slot and put the bag in Ali's stroller. I follow Nolan's car to this cute little restaurant and take Ali out with me. During lunch we talk about our spouses, or in his case, ex spouses, our kids, and our chaotic lives.

"Brandon is really such a pain lately. I'm pretty sure Ella is feeling the same way." I roll my eyes and take a bite of my salad.

"You're daughter's three, right," Nolan asks. I nod.

"My daughter, too. Her name's Joslin. We should set up a play-date someday." He suggests.

"Yeah, of course. Ella would just love that. She's such a social butterfly she could become friends with one of these waiters." Nolan pays for lunch after about five minutes of fighting over it, but I slap down the tip before he can. It might not be as much as the meal but it makes me feel better that he didn't pay for everything.
