《Rejected By My Mate And Family [Completed]》Broken hearted (E)

After Justin told me to leave, I stop by the door and watch as she cries into his chest.
My heart breaks, last time she didn't cry this much. We fought but she never cried this hard.
You broke me...again
I walk back the way I came and head straight to my room
"So did you convince her? Or make a move" Marco asks.
I shake my head and head up the stairs, he takes the message and leaves me alone.
Getting in the room, I close the door and lock it.
I take out my book and look at every poem I've ever written about her.
I grab the last piece of clothing she left last time. The same dress I bought her the day I confessed.
I close my eyes and soon after Justin barges into my room
"Hey! Doesn't the fact that the door is locked send a message that I don't want anyone in here?" I ask jumping from my bed.
He slams the door and walks to me his eyes showing nothing but anger and hate.
"You will not ruin her again. She has been through enough, and now you come back to watch her suffer!
I spend 3 years watching her cry herself to sleep, she didn't eat speak nor train, it took 3 to 4 years to get her back on her feet and you are not going to ruin her! So keep your distance from her and her family or I will not hesitate to kill you! Understand?!" He asks now in front of me poking my chest.
"Understood" I say sternly
He heads to the door and takes one last glance at me before closing the door which slides open after.
I really need to make it up to her, I realised how much I depended on her from those 3-4 weeks I was with her.

The bed felt empty, her scent left on the pillow, some of her clothes in my wardrobe, the colour she used to bring everytime she flashed a smile. No matter how much trouble we went through she'd always have a smile.
She never took no for an answer, she kicked butt in training and was always brave, kind, caring, strong, dependant, trustworthy wherever she was the whole room would brighten.
But from the day she slammed the door, everything just drained. The colour in my life, the laughter or giggles from the pack house, the joy.
Everything was gone, Kayden shut up after I rejected her, I hadn't mated her yet.
Marco tried his best to run the pack with me acting as a female dog. Her mother soon after was gone after giving birth to Sarah named after her,
Marco found his mate Nicky, watching them be happy broke me, turned me.
My father soon after died from heart disease.
Marco had to take care of Sarah and Nettie with the help of Nicky.
Only when it was too late did I realise that she was the only one keeping me together, keeping the pack together. When I wanted her back it was too late, her scent was untraceable.
I grab a pillow and head downstairs to the other room, I don't feel like sleeping with a wide door.
I pass Liliana's room and hear the same song from earlier playing.
Tears threaten to fall out but knowing that I caused the pain makes it even worse than it is. I really wish i could hold her and tell her everything will be fine. But I can't. I sigh hopelessly and head to the room 5 doors down

"Come on! You need to throw directly to the heart. It's not that difficult!" I yell.

We've been training for the last 3 months, the other packs, pack members came a month after we planned our 'war'.
I take the balanced knife and take the place of a guy whose been checking me out for the last hour.
"Cease fire!" I yell. They all stop throwing knives and look at me
"What's your name boy?" I ask looking at the dude.
"Darren" he replies. I nod my head and turn his shoulder to look at the others.
"I need all your attention! I'll show you how to throw a knife! Darren here will be going in there and if I kill him, you all can leave the deal and stop the attack" I say.
Darren looks at me wide eyed like the others.
"You better know what you doing, I don't wanna die at 18" he whispers in my ear
I look at him and smile.
"I haven't done it in 5 years. Pray that you live" I say directing him to the door.
"OK Darren stand at least 2 feet away from the dummy, and and a foot to its- nah just 2 feet from it" I say sharpening the knife.
He stands in place. Luckily the dummy is a head bigger than him.
The bullseye is right above his head.
Everyone looks at me worried and i smirk
"Ok! Key is to use any balanced knife and flick your wrist.
Your posture has to be stiff. Strong leg must be holding you up from behind. Your hand has to stay stiff but you flick your wrist in a stiff way.
You must always start off holding the sharp end of the knife!" I say.
Taking my position, placing my right leg behind me to hold me up.
I hold my right arm out in a flexing kind of position.
The tip of the knife is in between my thumb and index finger.
I move my hand forward and stiffen my hand flicking my wrist.
Soon the knife brushes Darren's head hitting the bullseye.
I look up from the bullseye to the crowd.
Everyone is looking at me with mouths agape. I skim the crowd with a smirk on my face.
My eyes land on a certain Luca who has a smirk on his face. Soon after my smirk fades.
The crowd begins to applaud and Justin walks up to me.
"I didn't know you could do that" he says smiling.
"Yeah, haven't done it in a long time" I say as he places his arm around my shoulders.
Darren comes out of the room traumatised.
"You good?" I ask looking at his head for any mark.
"Yeah, next time I say risk my life comfort me first, I thought I thought was going to die when the knife began to falter as it passed my head" he says still traumatised
Justin squeezes my shoulder and not surprisingly. Luca comes clenching his fist and his jaw ticking.
He flashes me a smile "great job" Luca says.
I stare at him after 4 months of speaking he decides to speak now.
"Yep, my best friend is good" Justin says kissing my temple
I look at him bewildered, he winks at me and i look at Luca to see his eyes changing colour as his fists clench and unclench any his jaw ticking.
Justin pulls me by my waist and walks with me by his side.
"What was that for?" I ask
"Just wanted to see him angry" he says chuckling I soon join him.
Luca has always been a jealous person even if the guy who was Marco.

Red Wheat
Skylar Kylee Wintersong was born an Indigo Child. Celebrated by her parents, who ensured that she suffered no restrictions that might hinder her powers, ability or genius, she has grown up knowing that she was a member of the elite, born to rule and guide. However, the cruel whims of beings who are Gods have intervened, and not only dropped Skylar in a savage reality of magic, muscle, steel, and blood, but granted her all the powers she thought she was entitled to. Her knowledge that she's been born to rule and guide, that she was a chosen one, has been made real, with all the terrible burden that entails. How will a 21st Century Earth girl survive on the Six Worlds of Shtar? A place known as "The War Worlds." The entire thing is somewhat tongue in cheek, fun high fantasy with a touch of satire. Rather than adding in likable and relatable characters, the three Earthlings are supposed to be caricatures and somewhat satirical, as I was making fun of the type of fantasy that was being spit out all over the place at the time I wrote this about a decade ago. It is currently unfinished and on hiatus.
