《Toxic Thoughts》Chapter 16: Games

The next two days went by with no trouble. Or at least no unexpected problems. There were still the usual complaints about training and the whines about the boring lectures. Bakugou had also noticed that the stares he was getting from the class changed from curious to more pitiful. He absolutely hated it. The fact that Midoriya had been acting super guilty wasn't helping his paranoia either.
He knew that damn nerd told them something, but he didn't know what exactly and that was more frustrating than anything. Beside that everything had been going surprisingly well. Katsuki had been letting his guard down more, letting his scowl and angry persona falter when he was cooking or drawing little doodles in the sideline of his notes. He'd been allowing more people around him and stayed in the common room longer than usual.
Don't be fooled, he was still snarky and explosive, just like always, but at least he was somewhat trying to give affection a chance. To convince himself that not everyone hated him and that some people actually cared for him. Right now was Friday, the day of the sleepover that the class had been planning for about three days by now. Aizawa had arranged that Mineta was going home for the weekend, meaning he couldn't make the girls uncomfortable.
It seemed like Ashido and Hagakure had planned some games to play with the class and Bakugou was asked which kind of snack he preferred at one point, so he was pretty sure that would be there too. When school ended, he was kidnapped to Mina's room so he could do her make-up. He had to admit that he expected lower quality stuff. Her make-up was actually quite okay and everything was already chosen and bought based on her skin colour, so he wouldn't have to search for the perfect colour that long.
"Sit still damnit" Bakugou grunted as he put some mascara on.
"Sorry!" she giggled.
"Nobody has ever done my make-up before! I'm so excited to see what it looks like!"
"Just shut up and don't move" he hissed, continuing his work. It didn't take him that long to finish up and she squealed at the result.
"Oh my God! I look amazing! Thank you so much Baku!"
"Tch, of fucking course, I'm amazing as hell" he spat, rolling his eyes at the nickname. At least it was better than Kacchan...
"So are you going to do your own face too or are you going to leave it like that?" she asked.
"Excuse me princess but do I have to remind you that I'm fucking handsome without make-up? I don't need that crap to be beautiful" Katsuki stated with much sass.
He didn't know why, but when he spend too much time with Ashido, he automatically started acting like that. It was as if she infected him or something. Disgusting.
"That's right, you're a motherfucking queen!" she exclaimed, raising her hand.
"Hell yeah!" Bakugou shouted, slamming his hand down on hers, giving her the high five she was silently asking for. She laughed, still admiring herself in the mirror.
"Who knew that hanging out with you could be so much fun!" she giggled, taking out her phone and taking pictures of herself. Katsuki was suddenly grounded by those words, reality hitting him like a brick in the face. He was hanging out with her... And he was having fun while doing so... A week ago, he wouldn't have thought that was possible at all.

"Come on, we need a selfie together" she stated, puling him closer.
"No, not gonna happen" he grunted, pushing her away.
"I did your face, now give me the recipe, that was the deal"
"Ugh, fine, it was fun while it lasted" she shrugged, walking over to her messy desk and pulling out a paper from under a stack of books.
"Here it is"
He snatched it, quickly glancing over the sheet and folding it up to put it away in his backpocket. With that he walked out of the room while raccoon eyes was still studying her reflection.
If she wasn't careful, Ayoma would see her as competition. That damn sparkles is in love with his own image and nobody could convince Katsuki otherwise. When he went down to the common room later that night to start cooking, he noticed there were a ton of futons laying around and the couches had been moved so there was more space. The tables were also shoved up against the wall and it seemed like the whole floor had turned into one big sleeping area.
It was clear some people had already claimed their futon with some of their stuff, but nobody bothered to respect that as everyone just sat where they wanted.
"Oh, Bakugou, you don't have to make dinner tonight, we're ordering pizza later" Kaminari grinned as he watched the ash blonde enter the kitchen. He was pouring some chips in a bowl, every bowl a different taste or kind. Guess those are part of the snacks for tonight.
"Oh" was all Katsuki said as he glanced at the different chips bowls.
"Do these need to be brought to the living room?"
"Yeah, normally Uraraka would help me but she was already eating everything while doing so and now she ran off with Tsu somewhere" Denki shrugged
"By the way, I saw what you did with Mina and it looks awesome! She posted it on her Instagram as well, I think she tagged you"
With a frown, Bakugou checked his Instagram, seeing she actually did tag him. She posted a picture of herself with Thanks for the favour @ BakugouKatsuki!! You're officially my favourite member of the squad now xxx #MakeUpArtist #Masterpiece #NewBestFriend. The comments were mostly the rest of the class giving both her and him compliments on the look and the dumbass squad calling her out and being all sad emoji's because they thought they were her favourite.
"Looks like I'm her favourite now" he snorted as he liked the picture. Kaminari rolled his eyes at that, laughing none the less.
"Yeah, don't get to attached to that positions though. She changes frequently" the fake Pikachu chuckled.
"Come on dude, help me get all these to the living room"
"Don't tell me what to do!" Bakugou snapped, taking a few bowls either way and marching back to the living room area.
"Oh sweet! The snacks have arrived!" someone yelled as Katsuki put them down on the table, Kaminari putting some more down after him.
"Alright! Looks like we're all set to start!" Mina exclaimed as she walked in the room, a feathery scarf draped around her neck to look more fabulous as she swirled it around.

"Everyone gather around! It's time for sleepover games!"
It took a few minutes for everyone to come down and find a good spot. In the end they were sitting in a messy circle. Bakugou was leaning against the couch with Kirishima next to him, the rest of the squad following afterwards. A few feet further, on his other side, sat Deku with his friends. Most people sat with their friends and people they got along with, which was to be expected.
"Alright, to warm up we'll start with something easy. Fuck, marry, kill" Ashido grinned.
Katsuki rolled his eyes, he should've known it would be lame games like these... Mina started spinning around with her eyes closed, stopping and pointing forward.
"Looks like we're starting with you blasty!"
"Ugh... Of fucking course... Alright bring it" Bakugou groaned, glaring at her.
"Uhm... Fuck, marry, kill. Uraraka, Yaoyorozu and me" she grinned.
"Kill round face" he spoke without hesitation, earning a small hey! from said girl.
"Uh... I don't know, fuck you I guess and marry ponytail"
"Okay! You can chose the next person!" she smiled, flopping down somewhere randomly in the circle as Katsuki's eyes roamed the class.
"Oi Deku-" he started.
"Fuck, marry, kill. Icyhot, insomniac and me"
"Those are all guys!" Uraraka said.
"Well if you haven't figured out the nerd is fucking gay by now, you're even more blind than I originally thought" Bakugou snorted, making Izuku blush.
"Kacchan!" he gasped, his face turning into a tomato.
"Answer the damn question Deku" he smirked.
"U-uhm... Marry Todoroki-kun" Midoriya muttered, still blushing furiously.
"Fuck you and I guess that means killing Shinsou-kun?"
"You'd fuck Bakugou over Shinsou?" Kaminari asked, supressing his laughter.
"Kacchan is handsome okay!" the green head whined.
"Gee, thanks nerd" the ash blonde grinned, making the broccoli only blush harder. This interaction was somehow making Kirishima extremely jealous...
He knew they were childhood friends and things had been going better again between them lately but still... He couldn't supress the feeling of wanting Bakugou all for himself... He has never had that before... Was it selfish? It was, wasn't it?
"Oi, are you okay?" Bakugou asked, making him blink.
"Huh?"
"You're spacing off with a frown, that's my thing" he clarified.
"Something is up, spill"
"It's nothing-"
"You're the one that always lectures me on talking about my feelings and all that crap so you don't get to close up on me"
"It's fine Bakugou, really, let's just focus on the game, okay?" Eijirou said, a smile on his face. Katsuki huffed, looking back at a furiously blushing Jirou as she stammered out something. They soon moved on to Never-Have-I-Ever. Everyone was holding up 10 fingers, the first one to put them down lost and had to take a shot of alcohol that Momo created.
"Okay, okay, I'll go first!" Ashido grinned.
"Never have I ever suffered from physical negative drawbacks of my quirk"
"That is just unfair" Uraraka whined, putting a finger down.
"Deku should just put a whole hand down" Bakugou scoffed as he lowered a finger, earning a few looks.
"What? We're all thinking it" the ash blonde stated. People mumbled small agreements, earning protest from Midoriya.
"That's so mean Kacchan!" Izuku frowned, having one finger down.
"Let's just move on" Todoroki sighed, also having a finger down.
"I'll go next. Never have I ever...had a stable parental figure"
"That's also not fair!" Kaminari pouted. Katsuki and Shoto shared a look when neither of them put a finger down and the room was silent for a moment. Everyone knew without words being spoken what those two had gone through, it made the room dense with the heavy tension in the air.
"You can't just say things like that Todoroki-kun" Midoriya whisper hissed at the halfa.
"But I got almost everyone to put a finger down. I thought that was the goal of the game?" he answered.
"Alright, he's not getting another turn" Yaoyorozu quickly decided.
"Let's move on, shall we! Never have I ever...had a crush on a boy"
"I feel targeted" Izuku mumbled as he put a third finger down after only three statements.
"Tch" Katsuki scoffed, putting a finger down. He glanced aside to see Kirishima had also put one down.
"Wait, you're gay?" Kaminari asked out loud, staring at the ash blonde.
"You put a finger down too, didn't you? So I don't want a fucking comment from you, you bisexual disaster" Bakugou hissed.
"I never told you that I'm-"
"I have eyes, Pikachu" Bakugou groaned, looking back at the class.
"Like 3 out of 4 in this class is gay, here I'll prove it to you. Never have I ever been gay"
A lot of fingers went down, making a smirk appear on Katsuki's face.
"You have a great gaydar, I'm impressed" Hagakure said.
"Hey, how do we know how many fingers she has up? It's not really fair either" Sato pointed out.
"I'm honest Sato, I've got 2 fingers down" Hagakure spoke.
"Yeah man, trust our girl" Ashido chuckled.
"Alright, who wants to go next?"
"Oh! I know one! Never have I ever been part of one of Todoroki's conspiracy theories" Uraraka giggled, seeing half of the class put a finger down.
"I swear, I'm getting targeted" Izuku mumbled, only having one hand left.
"I want to hear the story behind every finger with this one, Uraraka's statement made me curious" Sero stated.
"He thought I was an alien!" Mina laughed.
"He thought I was related to Present Mic" Kami chuckled.
"Todoroki once asked me if Tetsutetsu and I were brothers" Kirishima said, stifling a laugh.
"He asked me if I was All Might's secret love child or something" Midoriya said, laughing a little.
"To be honest, that one is pretty valid" Jirou stated.
"And I was also related to Present Mic, looks like we're cousins now Kaminari"
"Todoroki once asked me if I descended from a bird" Tokoyami spoke up, making everyone burst into laughter.
"Seriously?!"
"I'm not liking this game" Todoroki sighed.
