This has been one hell of a ride, I loved the journey and adventure but most importantly, I love you.

~ Scarlett's POV ~

I was awoken by the soft snores coming through my phone, I looked over and smiled as it was a sleeping Jaden.

Why did that sound like I was in wild introducing the viewers to a wild creature.

If you take a look now, you would be able to see a wild sleeping Jaden in his natural habitat, his bed.

I got out of bed and went on mute, I walked to my bathroom and brushed my teeth.

I did my skincare routine and brushed my hair into a high ponytail before walking over to my closet, I pulled an outfit that I always wanted to wear.

Today seemed to be a good day, I wasn't sure what was going to happen.

I did a little bit of make up and got dressed into a cute outfit, I couldn't help but think of the memories of Jaden and I.

It felt all like a hazy dream, I wanted to cry due to the nostalgia I was feeling.

Have you ever felt like that?

As I looked back at the old memories, the song Mind Over Matter by Young The Giant was playing in the back of my head.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Jaden shuffle and groan.

"Scar? You still there?"

Jaden asked with his groggily voice, I went off of mute and plugged my phone.

He smiled at me as he got up from his bed, he walked to the bathroom and set the phone up on the counter as he brushed his teeth.

"Today feels like a good day, I think I'm going to enjoy this day."

I admitted with a smile on my face, I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs.

My dad wasn't home which wasn't really out of the ordinary, I didn't mind it either because I was always able to be as loud as I want.

"You feel like that everyday."

Jaden replied nonchalantly, I rolled my eyes playfully and walked outside of my house.

I watched as my dad walks back to the house with Alana, I smiled at the couple.

"Scar, call the Waltons to come over."

My dad asked as he walked to me, he kissed my forehead and walked into the house.

Jaden heard and got his family together, I watched as they basically poured out of the home and made their way over to mine.

I called Cora and Layla over as well, we were now all in my backyard.

We were all confused to what was happening, my dad looked at me with a smile.

"Scar, I think you all want to record this."

My dad advised, I pulled my phone out and began to record.

"Record what?"

Alana and I said in unison, we looked at each other and laughed.

My dad just stood silent and looked at Jessica and DJ, my heart was racing because what if something bad was going to happen?

"Alana Mayleen Maybank, you have been the best thing in my life and even in Scarlett's life. You have always found a way to place a smile on my face and I feel like we've met for the first time everyday we speak."

My father began, I looked at him, was he about to break up with her?

I watched as my dad got down on one knee, I had messaged Kylee to make an appearance as well.

She stood beside me, I looked at my dad with tears in my eyes.

Kylee grabbed my hand and smiled at me as she recorded the moment as well, I felt my tears roll down my face and hit the grass.

"Alana, will you do the honors in making me the happiest person in the world and marrying me?"

My dad proposed as he pulled the ring out, my hand flew to my mouth just as Alana gasped.

She had tears falling down her face as well, she was a very pretty crier.

"Yes, I'd love to marry you!"

Alana exclaimed as dad put the ring on her and picked her up, twirling her around.

Everyone cheered for them as they kissed happily, I haven't seen my father so ecstatic in a while.

"We should throw a celebration, I'll order food and have music playing!"

I suggested, everyone agreed and left to go change into their outfits.

I ran upstairs, took a shower and washed my hair.

I made sure I looked and felt clean, I rummaged through my closet in hopes of finding the perfect dress for this occasion.

I had like a million outfits in here but none of them satisfied any of my needs.

That was until I find the best dress ever, I pulled it out and went to my vanity, I did my hair and put on makeup before changing into the dress.

Let me tell you, the dress fit me lovely and made me look prettier than ever.

Scarlett's Outfit

I put my hair a beautiful bun and added different hair accessories, I sighed and walked downstairs.

My dad was wearing a gorgeous suit, he looked so pretty.

"You look pretty dad."

I whispered as I looked at him, it's been a while since he's found love and I don't think I was prepared.

We both laughed as tears were on the edge of falling, I heard heels clicking and turned around to watch Alana walk downstairs.

Her dress looked amazing on her, she looked like a goddess.

I walked over to her and hugged her tightly, I needed a moment to breathe.

Alana's Outfit

We walked outside with the speaker, I had my phone set up to the Bluetooth.

I watched as the Waltons and my friends begin to walk over, I have never been more happy.

Jaden was matching with me, he had a black suit with a red tie.

Soon everyone was eating, laughing, talking and just having a good time in general.

I decided to make the best of this moment and play 'Stand By Me' by Ben E. King.

Everyone for excited and got together with a partner.

Layla had brought her younger sister to the occasion considering her parents weren't home.

Layla was dancing with Javon, Cora with Jayla, DJ with Jessica, Alana with dad, Daelo with Millicent whom is Layla's younger sister, Kylee was the DJ of the music so she was looking for more songs to play after this one.

"May I have this dance?"

Jaden asked as he outstretched his hand to mine, I accepted and grabbed his hand with a smile.

We began to sway to the music happily.

When the night has come, and the land is dark, and the moon is the only light we'll see.

Jaden twirled me around, I laughed a bit and returned my hands to his neck as he put his back on my waist.

My heart was beating quite fast and the butterflies were having a field day in my stomach, I just didn't want to let it show.

My head was now on his shoulder, I could feel his smile pressed against my skin as we swayed along to the soft song.

I lifted my head up slowly and looked at him with a soft smile, I took a deep breath.

I whispered softly into Jaden's ear, he lifted his head up and looked at me with a softer smile.

He kissed my cheek and looked into my eyes.

"I love you more, always and forever."

He responded as he kissed me in the pale moonlight where the stars were bright but like I said before, his eyes were brighter.
