"How was your date?"
I asked Cora as I walked into her house with her after school, she began to gush out every single detail.
I have never seen her blush before so when she spoke so highly about Jayla and I saw crimson red tint her cheeks and tips of her ears, I thought the world was ending.
"Didn't think of you as a romantic but here we are Cora."
I smiled, Cora smiled back at me and we continued the conversation.
If this is what makes her happy to talk about then I am all ears, she made doe-eyes without even knowing.
"How about your date with Jaden?"
She returned the question, I sighed with a smile and it felt like a date but it wasn't one.
"Hang out more than a date and it was fine, we danced and ate and laughed all night."
It was my turn for the blushing and the gushing but it was Jaden, I just couldn't help myself.
But I needed to, I wanted to stop myself from even thinking about a further relationship.
"But, I don't think I want to be with him."
That was a lie, I knew it, you knew it and so did she.
I sighed and grabbed her hand, pulling her inside of a 7/11.
"Yes you do, you've been giving him doe-eyes for days now."
Cora exposed me as we filled out slushy cups with blue raspberry, I rolled my eyes playfully and smiled.
"Shut, shut up Cora."
I laughed out my sentence, we grabbed a few snacks and then left the store after buying them.
We continued talking about relationships until Cora gets a message from Jayla, I know this because of her face.

"Did your girlfriend text you?"
I tease resulting in me getting pinched, I laughed and rubbed my arm.
"We're not dating Scar but, we should have some bonding time to get closer."
Cora suggested, I agreed and we spent the day watching TV, playing at the park and dancing for fun.
We found ourselves at an abandoned mall, we took a shopping cart and I went inside.
We rode around and had the time of our lives, soon we got out of the cart and just ran to nowhere.
Soon we walked to a mall and bought a couple of different items, as we were walking home, Jaden began to face time me.
"Hey loser."
I greeted, he was on his PlayStation but still managed to speak and give me attention.
"Where are you?"
"With Cora, we're walking home now."
I answered, he looked at the camera and smiled at me.
"Tell her I said hi, also you two should come over."
I accepted his offer, we spoke a little more until we got to his house.
He hung up and walked downstairs, when he opened the door, he hugged me.
"Cora, Jayla's in her room."
Jaden said and almost instantly, Cora was gone to find the love of her life.
We both laughed and walked upstairs to his room, which was surprisingly clean.
I decided to go say hi to Jayla before I went to his room, I knocked on the door and waited for a response.
Once I was allowed in, I walked inside of the room and hugged Jayla.
"So Cora told me that you're having struggles to decide whether you like Jaden or not."
Jayla said getting straight to the point, she pulled me next to her and we began to discuss.

After speaking, it was known to everyone on this planet and the next that I had feelings for Jaden.

Cora said with a smile, I rolled my eyes playfully and walked out of Jayla's room.
Maybe they were right but I wanted to be a hundred percent sure.
But Jayla lives with him, she would know when he begins to have feelings for a girl.
I'll think about this later, for now I have to focus on not making it obvious.
