"Suki, Healer Liam could teach the female the rules of our tribe, but you could keep on teaching her about what it means to be a female here, as well as answer any other questions she may have. As for why..."

Sigh, well I've already planned on doing that anyway... guess I was quivering for nothing. Yet, he never mentioned to teach her about being a female of our tribe. Odd.

Seeing my now calm expression Leader Axel slightly nods his head at grandpa Liam.

"You're probably aware" says Liam as he stares in the eyes of each male and finally at Suki, "this female is not your usual female. We believe that she's the same as the previous Unique One."

Clearing his throat Healer Liam speaks in a serious tone, "listen well young beastmens to this verse. This verse has been passed down to the Clear Lake Tribe Clan Leaders and Healer since the last appearance of the Unique One." Making sure that we were listening, he adds in a warning growl, "do not repeat this elsewhere."

As my three males, Vick and I nod our head in agreement, my once layed back round ears straighten up to listen carefully to our ancestors verse.

"Never before seen clothes,

Female of many scents,

Female of many lores,

Would be heard of in many dens."

Leader James speaks up, "clothes are pertaining to the odd cloths she wore, and the scents belong to the various interesting odours scented when she first arrived. As for the lores, we believe that it might have to do with the words that she has mentioned. As for of many dens, we'll get there." With this he then nods in respect to Healer Liam.

"The next is a verse to further identify how special her body is" says grandpa Liam excitedly as he continues in a low murmur,

"Of skin so frail,

Of a weak body,

Yet her womb never fails,

She is of the Unique One's embody."

With this my males and Vick appear surprised. In tune with them I changed my expression to mirror their faces so that I wouldn't be questioned.

"You're saying that she could bear cubs each year?" asks Vick hesitantly.

Grandpa Liam nods his head solemnly.

Vick appears amazed at this fact. Radu shakes his head in bafflement, "but how?"

Leader Axel responds with a question, "notice why whole females are prized higher than half-females?"

Radu looks up quizzically, "it is said that whole females have a faster chance of bearings cubs."

Keep my eyes calm, I nod my head in agreement.

Leader Axel smiles, "exactly, now imagine a female without a beast. Her body is able to easily produce cubs."

The males stay silent. All are bewildered yet it is Radu who looks worried.

Needing to know about how much they knew about a womans menstruation I had to ask, "how many times can she become pregnant?"

With this Healer Liam responds thoughtfully, "we're not exactly sure, but from word of mouth it was said to be a year to maybe two or three. This depends on what the female wants."

With this I lifted my eyebrows and exclaim in a suprised tone, "you're saying she can choose to become pregnant or not?" Ha, I can actually become a really good actress.

Healer Liam nods his head as Leader James touches his chin.

Finally he says in a gruff voice, "our hope is that she'll willingly bear our tribe some cubs before she decides to travel."

With this, I honestly blink my eyes in surprise. They're letting her go?

Leader Axel nods his head in agreement and slightly glances at Vick as he adds, "the Unique Ones are known to travel the Beast World bringing blessings to each place. However, given her appearance and of what she's able to do, many tribes may desire to have her forefully for themselves. Yet we do not wish to do so, since not only will this bring tribal wars to our land but also ferals."

"Then why are we keeping her?" asks Radu while Vick declares at the same time "she'll need protection."

With the two different views, Leader James smirks as he responds, "you forget her blessings young male. And yes, she'll need protection. Her stay at Nancy's den would not be enough." Staring in Vicks eyes he continues, "that's why..."

Oh no you don't! Knowing that what I was about to do was out of my place I had to stop his order.

"Sheila said that she wanted to live with me" Ha! take that!

Radu and Leaders James eyes bugged out as they heard what I said.

Leader Axel laughs outloud, "Is that true Vick?"

Vick nods his head and in a calm tone responds to his father, "as you appointed, I've been following the female and she did search for Suki. Later today she did mention at the river of bears, yeah, so I was hoping I could live with you."

Withholding my need to annoy Vick at the words he so perfectly memorized, I smiled broadly at the end since he did remember the actions of my mighty kind self.

Stopping his laughter, Leader Axel stares at me then at my males. Leader James picking up on the signal glances at my males faces and asks, "have all been bonded?"

Silently gulping I respond, "no leader James, Adan is the one left."

Leader James stares into Adan's steel blue eyes, "will you bond with her?"

Adan courageously looks into his Clan Leader's slinted dark blue eyes, "yes, I only care for my female."

Nodding in understanding, Leader James then asks, "will you achieve three marks?"

With this Adan looks at the ground as he stiffly responds, "no Clan Leader."

Humming Leader James adds as his eyes goes back to me, "you, female would need at least a three marked male in your den in order to protect the Unique One."Names Suki ole man!

"Agreed. Suki (thank you!) we will give you a week to bond with your males. Meanwhile Healer Liam would teach the Unique One about our world." Says Leader Axel as he and James walk to a different tunnel and disappear.

As we watch them go, grandpa Liam gives me a gentle smile then nods his grey hair head for us to leave this place.

While passing him I mutter in a spoiled tone, "grandpa Liam, I told Sheila to meet me tomorrow at where we females bathe. She thinks that she'll come to live with me tomorrow." At the end of my sentence I pout expectantly.

Smiling, the elder beastman responds, "do not worry about that. I'll still bring her tomorrow there, but will also tell her to wait."

Beaming at him, I jump on my toes as I respond "thank you grandpa Liam."

Radu who was behind me couldn't help but add, "yeah, thank you gramps."

"Who's your gramps you li, uh, you rascal!" whisper shouts grandpa Liam as he cleans away our footprints from the tunnel.

To this Radu lowly whistles, "wao, gramps your memory is really good. You even gave me an endearing name, but sadly I like the name Radu better."

Grandpa Liam sputters as Leo looks like he also wanted to participate in their fun while Adan, on the other hand, sighs warrily into the sky. At this time Vick has long disappeared to who knows where. And me, well I got some plans to do. But first..

Taking Adan's warm hand into my own, I coquettishly gesture for us to go back home.
