Someone in the crowd let's out a light gasp, "oh myyy" says a silky black hair female as she walks toward the black wavy hair female cub. The curvaceous female surrounded by three of her males sways confidently in.

The already nervous males that were once surrounding the cubs were pushed heavily to the side by the female's irritated males.

Vick, recognizing them steps aside, thus showing the angelic like female cub.

The incoming female tsks at the dramatic female and with her dark blue eyes looks lovingly at the cub.

Placing a soft hand on the cub's head, she comments, "Suki dear, Vick would be a wonderful male." Vick, while maintaining a stone like face let's out a tired sigh. "But this" she signals disdainfully at the now scornful female "would best be dealt by your mama."

The cubs nods happily at her mother, "yes mama."

The once crying female combs her hair back and let's out a snort, "yes little cub, let the adult females have their fun" pauses "and claim their males" she sneers.

Lucy gently laughs, "oh, do you fear my cub that much?"

The caramel hair female slightly growls at that fox beast's words. Lucy hearing the growl, places a hand over her mouth, her eyes squint and she giggles, "since I won The Most Beautiful Competition, maybe you are afraid of loosing to my cub as well."

The cat female beast eyes starts to glow and her nails enlongate. Lucy dramatically gasps and places a hand on her chest, "oh dear, I guess I'm right." The other females growls louder and takes a threatening step toward Lucy. The males around them become more alert which also makes Radu's body slightly twitch with the desire to morph and take Suki away from here. Vick stays quiet and glances at his father for any orders. His father shakes his head in no and nods at his female. Vick's mother's eyes is glowing in anticipation.

Lucy lifts her hand to her face and enlongates her own nails calmly. Glances at her own beastly pointy nails, Lucy licks one of them and sulks, "I haven't tasted another females blood in a long time." The other female's ears lay back and prepares her body for a pounce filled with killing intent. Lucy sighs dramatically, "fortunately for you, I know you want to stay here." The cat beast stops her advance and growls out, "explain."

Smirking, Lucy replies, "if you were to go ahead and attack me and my cub for this" with a sharp nail she makes a lazy circle in the air. "Then we females, and of course our males, of the Clear Lake Tribe will" with sharp glowing blue eyes and enlongated teeth Lucy happily announces, "attack."

With this the other females of the tribe howl eerily. The cat beast female freezes and glances around. At every campfire a female is staring at them with glowing eyes. No, not at them. At her. They're looking at her with the beastly desire of a hunt.

Witholding a shiver, the female tries to calmly stand straight. Scoffing she finally says, "I'm not that desperate." Scowling at the cub, she then looks at Vick with calculative eyes and walks away with her males.

Lucy grins happily and tenderly kisses her cub's head. Then looking at Vick, she adds, "thank you for protecting my cub." With a slight nod from the male, Lucy takes Suki's hand to walk elsewhere. However, feeling a tug on her hand, Lucy stops. Her cub let's go of her hand and walks back to stand in front of Vick with a puff out chest. Staring straight at Vick's dark onyx eyes she says, "just so you know, I'm serious when I said I want you as part of my family." Glancing down, her ears slightly go down as well, and she quietly adds, "but it's ultimately your choice." Suki, then runs back to her mother and by grabbing her hand she tries to pull her to a faster walk.

Radu looks back at the stone face Vick and nods at him with lower ears. Radu hopes that with his action, the stronger male would know that he's being acknowledge as hopefully being part of their family one day. Radu then internally sighs and walks behind the two females and the three proud males. I just hope he'll agree.

When they were farther away, Vick starts to walk toward the den shared with some of the other single males.

Getting closer, he smells a familiar scent.

"Lucas."

A young male similar to his father except for his light brown color eyes, appears from the shadow.

With a goofy smile, Lucas comments, "how does it feel being admired by two females?"

Vick scoffs, "one isn't of our tribe and the other is a cub."

Lucas keeps smiling, "oh so your ideal female has to be of our tribe."

Letting out a very tired sigh, Vick nods his head in yes.

"Then the little female cub won't be so little a few winters more" smirks Lucas.

Vick stares boringly at his brother and nods his head in agreement.

Lucas seeing that there is not hint of longing or desire or dread in his brother's eyes, sighs.

Scratching his head, he asks "brother, what would it take for a female to grab your attention?"

Vick slowly blinks his eyes, "I don't know". Pauses and adds, "certaintly not like the one tonight."

With a shiver Lucas readily agrees, "I hope that one will leave soon. Our mother, with the other females, were ready to chase her out."

Vick licks his lips in hunger and grins evily, "we are beasts."

Trying not to notice his brother's desire for a bloody hunt, Lucas nods his head and attempts to change the topic, "our tribe has flourished this time, we'll have to train the new males that were added to our tribe females family the way that we protect the tribe."

Vick's teeth enlongate and gruffly says, "not yet, we should wait till that female and certain males leave."

Lucas eyes begin to glow, "agreed, males like that leopard beast should leave but," he pauses, "how?"

"Blood incites us, a weaken prey is too easy, best to pick the strongest male of that bunch" adds Vick while licking his lips.

Lucas growls back in acceptance to his brother's plan.

In the den nearby was a group of their tribes single males who were listening in to the brothers conversation. All were found smacking their lips in anticipation.
