《Allea》fifty-three

Satisfyingly lying on the bed, leisurely walking around the vast room, reading business magazines, going through files, taking a short nap, calling Kai —Allea spent her time, and soon the darkness of night enveloped the sky. And now through the mirror, she was staring at herself in thebeige-pink monochromatic suit, her gaze lingered for a second, and a moment later taking her things she left the hotel room.
In her elegant and unwavering stance, her crisp steps reached outside the hotel, where the cars were already prepared, one of the guards and other her personal.
As the chauffeur opened the door for her, she stepped inside and got comfortable, and not a second later her gaze moved toward the iPad in her hand. Now that Nayla was not at her side, Allea was revising over the names of the company's representatives, the digits of the loss they faced, and the details of the projects their dispute disrupted. When she was done doing this, Allea's gaze moved toward outside the window, enjoying the spectacle of the city lightened in the darkness.
Not once her eyes moved toward the chauffeur she was in discussion with in the morning, but that doesn't mean the amber eyes didn't flicker toward her face from time to time through the rear-view mirror. Allea's face was usual, her movements were natural, there was nothing unwavering in her demeanor as if she was not a single percent bothered about Zyair Ahlstrom sitting in the same car as her --as if he truly was just a driver.
The moment the reached they reached the hotel, she left and walked inside. Guided by the staff, she reached the private room, which just seconds ago was filled with voices but discerning her presence turned absolutely silent.
In the private room around a huge oval mirror table sat nine people, leaving two seats empty. Among them, two men and a woman fell over their fifties, one woman in her forties, the other woman and a man in their late thirties, and two young men in their late twenties. They all are the representatives of the companies that work under the export industry except the man in his early thirties, Mr. Enzo, who was hired by Allea to supervise all the company and act as a head executive of the industry.
Seeing Allea appearing, Mr. Enzo with a charming smile stood up to greet her, as she took her seat beside him the greetings came after one another which Allea returned politely.

The room once again fell in silence, the two parties that were seated on either side of the table, exchanged glances among each other. The youngest among them was the woman who just came, Allea, and although she didn't say anything, the subtle lines of apprehension were visible on their foreheads but some had arrogance mixed in it. Allea didn't say anything to anyone, just exchanged light sentences with them talking about anything but business, even her tone and eyes were milder.

Soon the dinner was served and in silence, they ate, Allea enjoyed her food slowly, she was the last one to place her fork on the plate and take the sip of wine.
And after that, she raised her eyes, except Mr. Enzo her indifferent gaze lingered on each person sitting around the table.
"Working with us for so long, I don't know what gave you the idea that I would bear the recklessness, "She coldly voiced out, and the receivers of her words didn't raise their eyes to meet her until one arrogantly gazed at Allea and tried to say something.
"Miss Ciarve, you must look into this matter-"
Allea didn't let the man above his fifties finish, looked straight at him and asked impassively, "Mr. Giuseppe, do you think I'm here to look into the absurdness of your actions?"
Allea didn't wait for his reaction and turned toward Mr. Enzo, "Please read out the important points of the new contract."
This earned the curious gazes of others, and their focus moved toward Mr. Enzo, who then started summarizing the file Allea sent him in Italian. He was simply stating that others have this one night to decide and if they want to work under Allgaier Corporation or not. Tomorrow Allea can sign to terminate the contract with them, and she'll not charge anything, not even for the loss their actions have caused -they are free to go. But if they still want to work under them, then each one of the companies which were involved would have to pay for the loss from their personal revenue, other than what they pay to industry, as well as if any such thing happens in the future they would have to leave sixty percent of their ownership to the Industry.
Some had relief on their faces, some had cofusion, some were bewildered and some were distressed. Now they have earned enough to stand on their own, even if they leave, these four years have provided them enough to continue. They can simply take a step back, and they will have to pay nothing, but despite all of this- there was reluctance. Their eyes flickered toward the young girl, who was leaning again the chair in her arrogant stance, holding the wine glass with a subtle smile.
Instead of building their own industry, Allegair Corporation found the local ones, brought them together, provided them with everything they lacked. From the beginning till the end, it was them who needed the Allgaier and not the other way around. With these thoughts, their reluctance was mainly dominated with avarice —in four years they reached here, what about next four years and then next.
As Allea moved her eyes through the indecisive faces of the people in front of her, a smile rose on her lips, how could she not recognize the covetousness shinning through their wavering gazes.
Without waiting for their puzzlement to wear off, Allea gave her thank you for the dinner and stood up to leave, Mr. Enzo followed her out.
"Miss Ciarve, as per your instructions the new companies have already joined, their representatives will report tomorrow."

Allea turned toward him with a smile, "Thank you, Mr. Enzo."
With a dismissive wave, he uttered, "That's my work," After a pause of them walking out of the hotel, Mr. Enzo added, "I highly doubt, any one of them will leave. What do you think, Miss Ciarve?"
Allea's eyes flickered from the car that was approaching to the man beside her and added with a light tone, "I think Mr. Giuseppe will sure leave." Hearing Allea's response, and recalling Mr. Giuseppe's sour face when Allea cut his words, Mr. Enzo chuckled and nodded.
As the car stopped, she turned toward him, "Arrivederci, Mr. Enzo." Her words were returned with a wide smile and a Ciao.
As she stepped inside the car, her body subconsciously leaned to get comfortable, the car started and her eyes moved outside of the window (mainly to stop them from closing). Her somnolent gaze took in everything, from the bustling crowd going their merry ways, the lights dimly shadowing the monuments, the traffic, and the sidewalks —it made her think that she surely would like a walk under the dark sky of Milan, but right now the only thing she needed was a whole night's sleep. This thought only made her eager to reach the hotel and after a comforting shower, just go to sleep.
"To the hotel, Allea?"
While in her thoughts, an interjection came from the driver's seat. Others might not be able to but Allea could discern the subtle provocation it held, even though she didn't turn her head to see but was sure that a similar smile must be playing on his lips.
In response, her tone was neutral as she uttered a clear, "Yes."
"The night is beautiful, and I know just the perfect place, how about going there?"
The amber-eyed man tried again, but what met his words this time was utter silence, as if she didn't hear his words, and remained impassive. A little frown surrounded his brows, as his eyes flickered toward Allea who was unbothered, no reaction at all. Soon a smile rose on Zyair's lips, even after knowing about him still remaining like this, he wanted to see how long can she maintain this indifference.
Well, he soon got an answer.
As they reached the hotel, and Allea stepped outside and walked ahead, her lips curved in an inconspicuous mocking smile.
When Allea saw him in the morning, for a second she paused and wondered Zyair Ahlstrom's presence here, but soon her mind flashed with the way he looked at her in the room of the club --at the Z'nA right before he left. There was something in his eyes that was dominated with rage, she didn't know what it was, she didn't care to discern. Allea just answered his provocation and the way his arrogancy shattered she witnessed it, maybe to fill that wound he's here for retaliation.
More than his presence here, what bothered her was how easily he has breached through all her security, even though she's well aware of that man's ability, but still so easily being able to sit in the same car as her, tells something. Not particularly him but if he can then anyone else also can so conveniently break all the regards of safety.
Without the care of time, Allea was quick to dial Stella's number.
Stella's technophile of their nine-membered team, she handles and manages the security of their location, all the data, and devices, personal, or of the corporation. Stella can be easily considered absolute proficient in her work, and there's hardly anything that can go unchecked from her computeristic ways. That's why Allea has handed her the most important responsibility; Kai's security.
Under Allea's abrupt call and strict instructions, suddenly waking up from her sleep, without even fully understanding anything Stella could only think of cleaning her drool and just utter abundant assurances about toughening the security around Kai further.
And as far as that man is concerned, Allea should be apprehensive, tighten her security, immediately work against to replace him and do everything she could. But why should she, Allea doesn't intend to give what he's here to see. If he wanted to harm her, instead of facing her directly, his movements could have been more hidden, discrete, and subtle, not directly announcing his presence.
Allea could only shake her head, seeing the files in front of her, all that work was awaiting, in the next second, she threw away these thoughts and focused on her work.
If she wanted to play with him, she wouldn't have played her master card in the first meeting they met, she would have played along with his identities. She would have waited, letting him round her up in his lies and then, finding an impactful instant to break his allusions. She has no reason to waste her energies bothering herself with what he does and still doesn't. But she's also not going to utterly overlook his presence, she doesn't want her silence to be a permission for him to enter and go into her life however he likes. Right now, it's best to just observe his intentions, whether he does something or not.
Moreover, if he's here to do something, Allea really wants to see what that something is.
There might be things, things that she still fears, but one thing Allea sure was apprehensiveness for such useless things and people has long ago left her.
As the days continued to advance of their stay in Milan, between work from morning to night, they hardly got any chance to do anything. These days including Zyair Ahlstrom's attempt to initiate any conversation, which was mostly answered by confused Ali -who sat beside him on the passenger seat and often wondered why the chauffeur was unnecessarily talkative.
In these days, not once Allea's eyes moved toward the amber-eyed man, he witnessed that not a single word was uttered toward him, neither he was made to quit nor the security tightened around her —Allea reminded impassive & unbothered thoroughly and did nothing except her work.
