《Allea》twenty-seven

The stadium was packed with spectators when Allea came and seated beside Kai, who was excitedly looking around to have a look at the racing car's line-up, he didn't ask her anything. A slightly impressed smile tugged on her lips after seeing this enormous over-flown audience, all the stadium was full and people were even standing. Auspiciously, because of their VIP seats, the crowd was less overwhelming around them. Allea casually leaned against the chair to enjoy the race, her hair was tied in a ponytail, and her eyes were hidden behind brown sunglasses with an impassive face. They could be photographed by paparazzi and cameramen standing in every corner, but not clearly because of the shade covering them.
Today's race was being extra focused on, because of Salvadge's Manufacturer's new car launch, this was Aris Salvadge's sixth car launch and a one after about three years, everyone was looking forward to it. His first car came into the market about ten years ago and including that all the prior cars are still considered the latest and advanced in the market, their value hasn't lessened even all those years later. Seeing the crowd, one could say the people who are ordinarily not engrossed in cars, were also there to experience the view and witness it. People's interest was mostly piqued when Salvadge Manufacturers' released the teaser and catalog designs of the car. Which almost confounded even the people who were aware of Aris salvadge's abilities, this car could be considered almost perfect in all its ways.
As a known truth that there are bound to always have some flawed point in a car but through the latest car's catalogs, it felt like Aris Salvadge rectified it to the degree no one can find any fault in it, from its speed limits, engine capacity, power potential, and visuals, so on, everything felt straight out of fiction.
Although everyone had their doubts, they were also aware of the man's capability behind the making of this car so no one doubted him and were here to witness the car they probably wouldn't have a chance to see again.
It was no hidden fact after Salvadge Manufactures's stepped inside in space machinery manufacturing their cars became limited, and it was declared the only five cars were made of this new model, one was already in the hands of the racer -Elijah Cohan. If people were here to see the car then half of the stadium was here to see Elijah Cohan in that car.

"You lied."
These words were uttered by the man seated in his private lounge's couch, away from the curious eyes, he was wearing an all-black dress, a pitch-black shirt that outlined his ripped body was tucked inside similar shade dress pants covering his long sturdy legs, followed by a pair of leather polished shoes. His hair was slicked back showing his face with the same indifferent and cold look, although his attire looked a little casual -sitting leisurely crossed-leg on the sofa- the man himself emitted an aura of captivating ambiguousness. With a slight tilt of his head, his black eyes were fixed in the man seated on the sofa beside him, who had a docile smile on his face as he avoided looking at his friend.
"It was an excuse, I think she expected you himself," He put extra force on the last word and continued under his friends' intimidating gaze, "So you know, I was just...excusing for your absence."
Not bothering with the useless explanation as the guards already narrated him everything, he moved his eyes from his friend toward the floor-to-ceiling tinted windows, from where he could see the race tracks and the glimpse of the stadium filled with people, then his eyes moved toward the huge screens beside the window, which had access to the cameras of the whole stadium but currently showed the race track closely, the start-finish line and some of the audience, his gaze flickered from each screen while changing the angles of the cameras through the remote gripped in his hand.
When the man dressed in a grey suit didn't get a response from his friend at his explanation, he tried again, this time his facetious voice had an edgy seriousness, "Aris, are you perhaps interested in her?"
The man to whom these words were directed -Aris Salvadge, paused his moving gaze and gave a fleeting look to his friend but didn't answer his curiosity. As if Nial Delton never expected any response from him, he took his whisky glass, and leaned against the couch, staring at his friends, whose eyes were now once again fixed on the screen in front of them, his lips curled in a sinister smile when he once again urged his friend.
"Or are you just playing your curiosity?"
Aris Salvadge didn't look at him, and uttered some words, "Time will tell."
A prying look overcame his face as with a raised brow, Nial inquired, "Based on?"

"Whichever she found herself trapped in."
Hearing his vague response, Nial Delton gave an amused chortle and added, "Oh, she sure's a tough one, this will be fun."
Finishing his prediction, with eyes shining in mischief Nial Delton too moved his eyes toward the window, but his friend didn't share his amusement and his moving gaze halted on the screen showing the finish/start line or more particularly the vague image of the girl who sat a few seats away from the cameras surrounding the area under the shade -his black eyes reflected the brown sun-glasses she was wearing on her blank face- if looked closely one could see his lips slightingly curled mysteriously and a roguish look shining in his eyes like the glint in the eyes of a loin when he sees its prey.
Soon the whole stadium was engulfed in an earth-shattering cheering of spectators to welcome the competitors who started showing up and taking their position, the announcers started their commentary and began introducing the racers and the companies the cars belonged to. They entered and took their position according to the rank of last year's race, the first company's car that entered won because Elijah was their racer last year but for this race, they had a new face and still the first position. Then the company which ranked second entered and so on, as from the past three years Salvadge Manufactures made no car and also didn't participate in any race using their previous ones, their position was the considerably next to last from the starting line.
As the announcer uttered Salvadge Manufactures and their racer, every eye moved toward the entrance -suddenly an eerie silence fell around the stadium as everyone saw a slim-sleek matte black car advance in and smoothly took its place. It was not the first time the Salvadge Manufactures introduced a black car, but what amazed them was its dynamic appearance -one look and you couldn't help the gasp leaving your lips. Its slender along even edges yet defined display pulled all the attention toward it, moreover, the man who sat inside it.
Elijah wore a striking red helmet and similar red leather jacket and trousers, in distinction to the car, he stood out sitting inside it as he took his place. While people enjoyed the mind-boggling line-up of the gorgeous grand cars, they saw the man who pulled the attention of more than half of the audience, took off his helmet and his hazel eyes moved toward the audience. Moving his hand through his hair, his eyes moved toward the particular place and searched for the familiar faces in the crowd.
"Elijah! Here!"
Kai -who was jumping with stars shining in his eyes seeing the appearance of such cars- when he noticed Elijah searching for them, he stood up yelling to make himself visible. Allea shook his head -she was embarrassed for him- because in excitement Kai even took off his jacket to show his clothes to Elijah, which he got after so much drama. She knew Elijah always book their seats near the line, so he could see them before the race, this was his way of gaining good luck. Soon Elijah's eyes fell on the colorful appearance of Kai and his yelling reached his ears, when he noticed Kai, a laugh escaped his lips and he waved excitedly back toward the child with the same smile. When Elijah's eyes moved toward the girl beside him, Allea took off her glasses, and with a slight smile gazing her lips, she winked and gave him a two-finger salute, her way of showing -go win the race, captain!-.
The people who were witnessing their interaction, it was not new for them, this routine has been the same from past years and many times was captured on the big screens. This was how they came to know the friendly relation between Allea Ciarve and Elijah Cohan, but Elijah's fan couldn't help and envy the sister-brother duo who was able to get such attention and admiration from their idol. Elijah's always appreciative toward his fans but after seeing such pure interaction every time, they couldn't help but be jealous of the girl who wore her glasses again and leaned back in her chair resuming her neutral look.
Yelling one last time, coincidently the same words written on his trousers, "Go win Elijah!" Kai also sat down and throwing a sheepish look toward Allea, he again wore his jacket. But there was no point in it, everyone saw him when he stood passionately shouting and especially when Elijah laughed heartedly while looking at him so Allea didn't stop him.
As the announcers began the briefings to start the race and giving one last call to get ready, Elijah wore back his helmet, ready to focus himself on driving the car.
