Summary- When Peter doesn't want to go to school, what will he do to get out of it.

Waking up, my mind floods with the memories of what happend. Flash had made me do his homework, but with everything that happend, i forgot. When i told him, he said tomorrow i will pay for it.
Well tomorrow is now today, and i do not want to have to deal with all the unnecessary pain today.
Pulling out my laptop, i quickly hack into FRIDAY, so when dad asks, she does in fact confirm that i am ill. Genius, i know.

As soon as i had hacked into FRIDAY, i jumped up and ran to my bathroom, turning on the hot water tap and grabbing a cloth.
Once it was hot enough i placed it on my forehead and started to get ready for the act.
After i'm hot enough i throw the cloth and go back to bed, knowing my dad will be here any minute.

The knock on the door gives me time to get ready.
"Buddy, you okay, FRI told me you're sick" Dad says as he opens the door.
I can't stop the guilt that is eating away, but know this is better than being beaten to a pulp by Flash.
"Yeah" I croak out, making my voice crack slightly at the end.
Dad frowns and sits on the side of my bed, he reaches out his hand and places it on my forehead, head, his frown deepening when he feels the heat.
"No school for you mister" Dad says to me.
Feeling relief, but knowing i have to act like i normally do i was about to argue against it, only for him to send me a look to not argue against it.

He lightly kisses my head and stands, "Get some sleep kiddo" He says.
Nodding i close my eyes and pull the blankets up further.

When i wake up, i decide to go out and see everyone.
I grab a blanket and wrap it around me, then walk out the door.
I see everyone on the sofa, watching a show. They all turn around and smile when they see me, but i see Aunt Nat and Uncle Clint look at me with slight suspicion.
Ignoring it i sit beside my dad, and watch the tv.
I see Aunt Nat and Uncle Clint leave, but don't take notice of it.

Suddenly they come back with something in their hands.
They throw something on me, and shout Spider.
On instinct i jump onto the ceiling, shouting at them.
When i see everyone look at me strangely, it then hits me of what i've done.
I'm dead.

No one was happy with me, dad gave me the disappointed look as long with uncle Steve.
I left to my room, and couldn't help the tears that fell down my face.
After crying for so long, i was starting to not feel very well and decided to go to bed.

As soon as i woke up, i felt a pounding headache set in, and my stomach turn dangerously.
I bolt to my bathroom, and only just make it to the toilet before i lose what little i ate yesterday. The lights are too bright and everything is too loud.
After i am done, i groan and curl up on the floor, not wanting to move.
I hear a banging on my door and my dad shout in "Get up Peter, don't start messing around again, we won't believe you."

I hold back a whimper and pull myself onto shaky legs. Looking into the mirror i see my pale face, coated in a sheen of sweat, my hair a mess and dark circles under my eyes.
Splashing my face with water i then get dressed, knowing i need to hurry.

Walking to the kitchen was getting increasingly harder as everything began to spin.
I lean against the wall, trying to clear the ever increasing black spots in my vision.
Uncle Clint and everyone walk in, but when Uncle Clint sees he rolls his eyes and says "Don't start this again Peter."
But as soon as he said that, i feel the floor come closer to my face and the black spots consume me.

"Peter, bubba. Can you hear me" I hear someone say from above me.
Groaning i open my eyes and see my dads worried eyes looking into mine.
"We're so sorry we didn't believe you bud" he says, as he sees i'm awake.
Lightly shaking my head i croak out "wasn't your fault. Shouldn't have lied."
He hugs me and says "You shouldn't have lied. But Pete now you are ill."
I chuckle and mumble "it's karma."
Dad chuckles and nods in agreement.

No system (except for mc?) and no level up like that. Just mc trying to use people for his own good. If I had to describe this novel in three words it be, guns, despair, and monsters.
